Chapter 162 Truly Garbage

"Lily actually said that, she's really overestimating this kid!"

"Yeah, Lily is an important person, why is she favoring him like this?"

The crowd continued to discuss them.

"haha, you guys don't know it, but Lily is simple-minded, this Noah is definitely using a trick to capture Lily's heart."

"That's right, this guy wants to shamelessly cozy up to the Benson family and become a son-in-law to the Benson family!"

Knock, knock, knock!

At this moment, someone knocked on the wall.

"Miss, the master wants Mr. Noah to come to the study." Said a voice.

Everyone looked over and saw an old man standing at the door.

The old man was dressed in a suit and wearing a round hat. There were occasional shrewd glimmers in his eyes. When he saw Noah, his face immediately darkened.

"That’s the Benson family butler, Richard!"

Someone immediately recognized the old man.

Lily's expression tightened. It seemed that this matter had reached her father's ears.

Kyle was very concerned about his reputation. Since Noah had embarrassed the entire Benson family in front of the guests, it was definitely not a good sign that he was calling Noah over at this moment.

"Noah, don't go."

Lily spoke up, worried that Noah would be in danger.

"No problem."

Noah remained calm and said to Richard, "Lead the way."

Richard nodded and led the way.

They arrived at the top floor, where Richard brought Noah into a room with slightly dim lighting.

At the window of the room, a man stood with his back to Noah, hands behind his back, looking at the scenery outside the window.

He had a tall figure, emanating dignity. This dignity was calm and well-hidden, only revealing a glimpse of him. But once it erupted, it would surely be overwhelming, making people feel respectful and fearful.

This person was Kyle!

In Oceanbridge City, the industries he was involved in were finance, real estate, the import and export trade, and tobacco. The industry that earned him the most money was the defense industry.

He was the son of a government official. His father had participated in the Civil War and had remarkable military achievements.

After the country was established, he was awarded the rank of Lieutenant General.

With the support of his father, combined with Kyle's own exceptional intelligence, decisiveness, and courage, he created his own territory in the business world of Oceanbridge City in just twenty years.

It was rumored that thirty percent of the scarce military materials needed for important military weapon manufacturing in the military region were provided through overseas trade by the Benson family, earning them a substantial profit.

Kyle had also established his position because of this.

"Master, Noah is here!"

Richard respectfully spoke up. "Noah gave Miss Lily a piece of junk, and now those guests outside are mocking the Benson family!"

Kyle turned his head and his gaze fell on Noah.

He had a square face, determined expression, and his eyes seemed to contain the ever-changing sun, moon, and stars, deep and incomparable, making people dare not look directly at him.

"Are you Noah, Lily's boyfriend?" Kyle asked, his voice low.

"That’s me," Noah calmly said, meeting Kyle's gaze directly.

Kyle nodded and then looked out the window. With his back to Noah, he remained silent for a while before pointing his finger.

"Do you know how powerful our family is?"

"I do," Noah replied.

Kyle turned around to look at Noah.

"Noah, do you understand the meaning behind my words? If my family, the Benson family, is so powerful, and you, Noah, a bottom-feeder in society, are using tricks to win over my daughter, you’re not worthy of her."

He shook his head, "Noah, you are far beneath the Benson family, you are not worthy of my daughter."

"What?" Noah also looked at Kyle. "Kyle, don't measure my value and background with your limited vision."

"The Benson family is nothing more than an ant to me, or even just dust."

As he spoke, a domineering aura emanated from Noah, a demeanor of overlooking the world.

"You are arrogant, young man!" Richard shouted, "Who are you, Noah? How dare you show such disdain toward the Benson family?"

"I was only speaking the truth," Noah replied, folding his hands behind him. He spoke calmly, his aura converging, appearing like an ordinary young man once again.

"haha, it's fine for young people to be a bit arrogant, but don't go too far." Kyle coldly snorted and a mocking look appeared in his eyes as he observed Noah.

"I am Kyle. My daughter's boyfriend naturally has to be an extraordinary man. Her future marriage must bring sufficient benefits to the Benson family. And you, you bottom-feeder, if you marry Lily, what good will it bring to the Benson family?

"But I must admire your courage to climb so high and aspire to touch the upper class. After all, as a lowly person, you are the first to climb up to the top of the Benson family. In order to make my daughter like you, you must have gone to great lengths and used many schemes!"

Kyle continued, "But deep down, you’re just a loser who lacks patience and doesn’t understand that those who achieve great things must seize opportunities. You love showing off, seeking attention, and impressing people with worthless gifts like the one you gave to Lily. This revealed you true character as a clown!

"And you have brought shame to the Benson family today. Do you really think someone like you deserves to be my son-in-law?!"

With that, Kyle took out a silver card and threw it in front of Noah:

"There's a billion dollars in the account, the password is six zeros. Take the card and get lost! That’s a reward for your audacity to climb up the social ladder. From now on, stay away from my daughter! You wanted to mingle with the upper class, right? This money should be enough to get you close to the edge of the high society!"

"Kid, you've got what you wanted, so why don't you take the card and leave now?" Richard stared coldly at Noah.
