Chapter 263: Larry's Housewarming

Only the group owner had the authority to remove him from the group.

Danielle and the others were also surprised, not expecting Zack to be kicked out.

Soon, Zack found a contact with a shark avatar, noted as "Mr. Nathan".

This person was a high-ranking individual at Shark Live.

"Mr. Nathan, why was I removed from the group chat? Did I do something wrong?" Zack typed and sent the message.

Immediately, a red exclamation mark appeared!

The message was sent but was rejected by the recipient!

Seeing this, Zack's face turned grim:

"Mr. Nathan blocked me?"

"Mr. Nathan not only removed me from the group chat but also blocked me?"

Zack couldn't believe it, utterly confused.

"Zack, what's going on?" Riley asked curiously:

"Mr. Nathan, why did he kick you out of the group and block you?"

"Perhaps it was a mistake. The Anthony Family is, after all, a sponsor of the 'I Am a Tycoon' show. There's no need to kick someone out and block them," Danielle said.

"Even if it was a mistake, it's unlikely to kick and block someone at the same time!"

Zack was puzzled. "I'll have to ask my second uncle about this. He's in charge of the sponsorship and is also in the group chat."

With that, Zack called his second uncle, Norman.

"Hello, Uncle, I've been kicked out of the sponsor group by Mr. Nathan, and he also blocked me."

"What?"

A surprised voice came from the other end of the line. "Zack, did you do something to offend Mr. Nathan? Why else would he do that?"

"No, I didn't!"

Zack felt wronged. "After adding Mr. Nathan, I haven't even spoken to him. I haven't even met him, so how could I have offended him?"

"Then it might be a mistake, or Mr. Nathan is cleaning up the Facebook group of some idle members," Norman said. "I'll ask Mr. Nathan about it. Our family's sponsorship is my responsibility, and Mr. Nathan knows me. Hold on a moment."

The other end of the line went quiet.

After less than ten seconds, Norman's incredulous voice came through:

"No... impossible! Mr. Nathan kicked me out of the group and blocked me too!"

"No way!"

This time, Zack was truly stunned.

If it was just him being kicked out and blocked, he could understand, as he had never met Mr. Nathan. He had joined the group chat only because of his uncle's connection.

But now, even his uncle Norman had been kicked out and blocked, which meant the situation was serious.

"Does this mean our family's sponsorship of 'I Am a Tycoon' is off?" Zack asked cautiously.

"I'm not sure. We need to visit Mr. Nathan and ask in person. This matter is too important to be handled carelessly," Norman said seriously. "If we've done something wrong, we must explain and apologize to Mr. Nathan. This sponsorship is crucial and cannot be taken lightly!"

"Alright!"

After hanging up, Zack was deeply troubled by the situation's impact on him.

"Could it be that Noah asked Mr. Nathan to kick Zack out and block him?"

A thought suddenly crossed Anna's mind. But then she shook her head. It was unlikely. Even if Noah wasn't a fraud and was wealthy, he might not have the influence to make a high-ranking executive at Shark Live kick and block someone.

Meanwhile, Noah was already driving home.

His phone lay casually on the passenger seat, the screen lit up with a Facebook message.

"Remove the Anthony Family from the 'I Am a Tycoon' sponsors."

The contact's avatar was a shark swimming in the waves.

...

When Noah got home, Lisa had already returned from work.

She was sitting on the sofa, dressed in a black business suit, her figure alluring. Her legs were crossed, with an Apple laptop on her lap, and various documents on the table beside her.

"So busy?"

Noah glanced at Lisa and walked behind her, gently massaging her shoulders.

Lisa's shoulders were soft, with a faint fragrance that was very pleasant.

"Yes, the slum redevelopment project has a lot of issues to handle every day. I couldn't finish everything at the office, so I brought it home," Lisa said, enjoying Noah's massage, feeling much more relaxed as her fatigue dissipated.

"Honey, tomorrow at noon, my eldest sister's family is having a housewarming. Should we go?" she asked, looking up at Noah with her big eyes.

"Of course, we should go. They sent us an invitation," Noah smiled.

"But I don't really want to go," Lisa sighed. "I heard that Larry invited almost all the relatives. And my dad, after being discharged today, moved directly to their villa."

"I guess those snobbish relatives will come and look down on us again."

"Look down on us? What right do they have to look down on us?"

Noah laughed. "We live in the best villa in Summit Retreat Oasis, and you're the project manager of the slum redevelopment project with an annual salary of over a million. Not to mention, among our entire family, we should be the wealthiest and highest-earning!"

Lisa was taken aback, realizing Noah made a good point. Perhaps she had been conditioned to feel resistance and resentment towards relatives due to past mockery.

"Moreover, when we had our housewarming, my eldest sister's family came. So, by etiquette, we should go," Noah added.

"Yes, yes! Then let's go!"

...

The next day, Lisa took a leave of absence from work.

Around noon, she and Noah left together to attend Larry's housewarming.

Larry's villa was not far from Noah's, just a ten-minute walk. Soon, they arrived.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

As soon as they arrived, the sound of firecrackers filled the air, deafening, with the smell of sulfur lingering. The ground in front of the villa was covered with firecracker remnants.

Noah looked over and saw Larry standing at the villa entrance.

He was wearing a black suit, his face beaming with pride, greeting relatives. Beside him was a BMW 7 Series, looking very imposing.

A crowd had already gathered at the entrance.

These were relatives, some from Larry's side and some from the Wilson Family, including some Noah recognized.

There were elders like Uncle Jake and Second Uncle Lance, as well as peers like Mike and Alex...

A bus was parked nearby, indicating that Larry had used it to bring the relatives over.

"Larry! So extravagant, buying a villa and setting off twenty firecrackers! Just the firecrackers alone cost over two thousand bucks!"

Uncle Jake gave Larry a thumbs up.

"Your housewarming looks much more extravagant than that loser Noah's!"

### Chapter 264: What Qualifications?

"What's so extravagant about this?"

Larry waved his hand modestly, though his eyes were full of pride. "It only cost a little over two thousand bucks."

"Haha, there's no comparison! I remember when Noah, that loser, had his housewarming, he didn't even set off firecrackers!" Jake laughed heartily.

"Uncle, make sure you drink a few more glasses at the banquet! We've got aged Lafite, several decades old, and all the dishes are prepared by top chefs from Starlight City. You'll love it!" Larry added.

"Really?"

Jake's eyes lit up, and he continued, "There's no comparison! When Noah, that loser, had his housewarming, if I remember correctly, all the dishes were made by Lisa herself. Haha, too poor to even hire a chef!"

"Unlike you, Larry, using Lafite and hiring top chefs from Starlight City for your housewarming. This must have cost a lot, right?"

"Just small change, as long as Uncle enjoys it!" Larry said with a smile, giving the impression of great respect for his elders.

In a corner of the villa stood a man with glasses. A journalist's badge hung on his chest. Beside him was a tripod with a camera mounted on it. He was holding a notebook, jotting down notes:

"Larry, hosting a housewarming and inviting all the relatives, this event is bound to be grand. I'm most curious about how Noah, the ungrateful son-in-law of the Wilson Family, feels about this."

"Larry said that Noah is very concerned about appearances. Even if he's very upset and dissatisfied, he won't show it on his face. When he comes over and sees the villa, trying to hide his jealousy and dissatisfaction will be quite amusing."
