Chapter 219 Disrespect!

"What the heck?" Brandon was floored, and Zachary looked just as shocked.

Even Mary was caught off guard, not understanding why everything had flipped so suddenly.

"M... Mr. Lewis, why are you pulling the plug? Our hospital didn't do anything wrong," Brandon pleaded, looking desperate. "Mr. Lewis, please, don't take back the radiation therapy equipment!"

Without the radiation therapy equipment, the hospital would be out a ton of money every year.

Kevin sneered, stepping behind Noah and glaring at everyone. He shouted, "Because you have no manners! Because you don't even know this big shot! Because you look down on people who don't dress fancy! And you have the nerve to ask me why? You wanted to kick Mr. Anderson out of the hospital without even knowing who he is. How dare you!"

After his outburst, Kevin turned to Noah, his expression immediately becoming respectful and serious. He said solemnly, "Mr. Anderson, please don't be angry. I'll take back the radiation therapy equipment right now. If you need it, we can arrange for you to go to another hospital where we also arranged the same equipment."

Brandon and Zachary was dumbfounded upon hearing this title.

'Could this guy have some prestigious background?' Seeing Kevin's respectful demeanor, Dean Brandon's pupils contracted, and his mind was in turmoil.

That respect was genuine, from the heart. It was the respect of a subordinate to a superior.

Brandon found it hard to imagine what kind of status this young man had to make Kevin treat him this way.

At this moment, Zachary's face was also grim, feeling he seemed to have offended a significant figure.

Who could have imagined that this seemingly ordinary young man had such a terrifying background?

"It's not me who needs the radiation therapy," Noah said calmly.

Kevin's expression changed, and he immediately smiled apologetically, "Mr. Anderson, I'm sorry, I misspoke."

As he spoke, Kevin noticed Grace standing nearby, her face pale and her breath weak. It was clearly this woman who needed the radiation therapy.

Brandon said nervously, "M... Mr. Anderson!" Brandon, his eyes darting around, immediately said respectfully, "I... I was too foolish earlier and spoke disrespectfully to you! I'm sorry for my rudeness. I hope you can be magnanimous and forgive me!" Brandon wasn't stupid. Kevin's attitude made it clear that this young man had an extraordinary background.

Moreover, Kevin's humble posture suggested that this young man might be a core member of the Benson Family, possibly even the boyfriend of the Benson Family's heir.

So the wisest course of action now was to admit his mistake immediately.

This matter concerned whether their hospital could keep the radiation therapy equipment, so it had to be handled carefully.

Zachary also caught on quickly and respectfully said to Noah, "Mr. Anderson, I was disrespectful to you earlier. I hope you can forgive me and not hold it against me."

"Apologizing now is too late," Kevin sneered, glaring at the two of them. "You've already made a grave mistake by disrespecting Mr. Anderson. Apologies won't fix it. The radiation therapy equipment must be taken back!"

Hearing this, Brandon and Zachary turned pale and could only look at Noah with pleading eyes.

"Can I be first in line now?" Noah asked, hands behind his back, looking at Zachary.

Zachary's eyes lit up, and he said excitedly, "Yes, of course! Mr. Anderson, the first spot is naturally yours!"

"Mr. Anderson," Kevin said, looking at Noah, "these two idiots dared to disrespect you! Honestly, we should just take back the equipment and not do the therapy here at all! Why do you still want to..."

"I have my reasons," Noah interrupted Kevin, speaking calmly.

Kevin's expression shifted, but he kept quiet.

Although Zachary was somewhat sycophantic, he was still the chief physician, and his medical skills were reliable. Noah felt more at ease with him handling Grace's therapy.

Moreover, moving to another hospital would delay a certain amount of time, which might worsen Grace's situation.

"Dean Brandon, Dr. Zachary, this first spot can't be given up," Mary interjected, "My dad is seriously ill and also needs chemotherapy!"

"Who do you think you are?" Dr. Zachary glared at Mary. "Don't you understand first come, first served? Pay up and get in line, or go to another hospital for chemotherapy!"

Hearing this, Mary stepped back.

Noah looked at Mary, mocking her, "In this society, money and power get you preferential treatment. You're ugly, poor, and have no background. What right do you have to compete with me for the first spot?"

"You!" Mary widened her eyes, trembling with anger. His words mirrored what she had said to Noah earlier.

But now, the tables had turned. She wanted to retort but found it useless.

Because now, Brandon and Zachary were both on Noah's side.

"Is having money and power so great? Does it give you the right to bully me?" Mary scoffed.

"Bully you?" Noah's mockery deepened, "I usually treat others the way they treat me."

Mary finally fell silent because from the beginning, Noah hadn't used money or power to pressure her; he had just reasoned with her.

It was her who had used money and power to suppress Noah.

But now, her money and power were insignificant compared to Noah's.

"Quickly arrange the radiation therapy," Noah said, having already delayed long enough.

"Yes, Mr. Anderson!" Zachary immediately instructed a nurse to take Grace to the next room to prepare.

Noah and Scarlett found a place to sit and waited quietly.

As for Mary, she could only obediently get in line.

About an hour later, Grace was wheeled out of the radiation therapy room.

Her face was pale, her breath weak, and her long hair had been cut off, replaced by white gauze.

"Mr. Anderson, the therapy is very successful. The patient now needs to rest. After about four sessions, the cancer cells should be completely eradicated," Zachary said respectfully to Noah, his forehead glistening with sweat, indicating the therapy had taken a lot out of him.

"Thank you, Dr. Zachary," Noah said.

"You're welcome!" Zachary waved his hands, looking flattered. "I was disrespectful to you earlier, but you didn't hold it against me. I greatly admire your magnanimity!"

"Mr. Anderson, the radiation therapy equipment..." Brandon approached, hesitant.

"Leave it here for now," Noah said calmly.

Hearing this, Brandon and Zachary's eyes lit up with joy, and they quickly thanked Noah, "Thank you, Mr. Anderson!"

In the private care room, Grace slowly opened her eyes, the first people she saw was Noah.

"Grace, how are you feeling now?" Noah asked softly.

"The pain in my throat has lessened a lot," Grace said, her voice still weak.
