Chapter 236 Diamond Room

"Take the money, Amelia. Your dad's really sick and he needs it," Noah's voice was firm and unyielding.

"But..." Amelia hesitated.

"But after you take the money, you gotta do something for me," Noah added.

Though he was wealthy, he wouldn't just hand over a hundred grand for nothing.

Amelia's eyes flashed with suspicion. Was Noah asking her to sleep with him?

A blush crept up Amelia's cheeks at the thought.

She worked at a karaoke bar and had been harassed plenty of times while serving drinks, but she was still a virgin.

Amelia glanced at Noah. He dressed simply, but there was something about his demeanor that made her feel safe, so spending a night with him might not be so bad.

"Mr. Anderson, I can spend a night with you," Amelia bit her lip, her blush deepening. "But you have to take precautions."

"Pre... precautions?" Noah nearly spat out his beer.

"Yeah," Amelia nodded seriously, "I don't want to get pregnant at my age."

"I'm not asking you to do that," Noah said, "I need you to tell me where Lucas is."

"You want to find Mr. Lewis?" Amelia was stunned.

"Yeah," Noah nodded, "Tell me exactly where Lucas is, and the hundred grand is yours. There will be more benefits after the job is done."

"I really don't know Mr. Lewis's exact location. He's always so elusive," Amelia shook her head. "But at this time, he's probably drinking in one of the Diamond Rooms on the top floor."

"Diamond Rooms?" Noah asked, a bit surprised.

"Yeah, the Diamond Rooms are on the fourth floor. There are four of them, and they cost eighteen thousand dollars an hour. They usually cater to high-end clients. Not many people know about them, not even we hostesses. I only heard about them by chance from the manager," Amelia explained, "The hostesses there don't just serve drinks; they provide other services."

Noah nodded. He understood what she meant by "other services." The hostesses there were likely just playthings for the wealthy.

"Send someone to the fourth floor to look for Lucas in the Diamond Rooms," Noah instructed Ethan.

"Got it!" Ethan pulled out his phone and sent a message to his men.

A moment later, Ethan's phone buzzed with a message. He checked it and his expression changed slightly.

"Mr. Anderson, there's a message. The entrance to the fourth floor is guarded. We can't get in," Ethan said.

"Can't get in?" Noah rubbed his chin. "Bring Lucas's lackey here."

"Understood!" Ethan's eyes flashed with understanding.

Soon, two men dragged in a man with a missing fingernail.

The man was covered in blood, his face pale, and his eyes unfocused as if he was about to pass out.

"Clean the blood off his face," Noah instructed.

One of the men stepped forward, poured beer over the man's face to wash off the blood, changed his clothes, and forced a bottle of whiskey down his throat.

Instantly, the man reeked of alcohol, looking like a drunk.

Noah struck the man on the back of the neck, and he passed out completely.

"Amelia, stay here and don't move," Noah said calmly, then signaled with his eyes before leaving the room.

Ethan followed immediately, with two men carrying the unconscious man at the rear.

"Mr. Anderson," Amelia called out, watching Noah leave. She was confused, not knowing what Noah was planning, but it seemed like something big.

They reached the elevator and took it to the fourth floor.

When the elevator doors opened, two men in black stood at the entrance.

"Sir, this is a private area. You can't enter," one of the men said, expressionless, blocking Noah and his group.

"Move aside!" Noah's voice was cold.

The two men frowned, then noticed the unconscious man reeking of alcohol behind Noah.

Their expressions changed to fawning smiles. "Oh, it's Bob! Seems he's drunk now, isn't he?"

Bob was one of Lucas's trusted men, someone they couldn't afford to offend.

"Yeah, he's drunk. Where's Lucas?" Noah asked.

"Same place, Room Two," one of the men replied, still a bit puzzled.

Noah nodded and headed towards Room Two.

As they walked away, the two men whispered to each other.

A man said, "Bob's really had a lot to drink! He can't even walk!"

The other replied, "Yeah, he's blacked out. But those two guys with him are new. Never seen them before. And they don't know Lucas only drinks in the same place."

Soon, Noah reached Room Two.

Two more men in black stood guard at the door, their expressions stern.

But when they saw Bob being carried, they immediately opened the door, letting Noah and his group in.

The Diamond Room was huge, over a thousand square feet.

In the center of the room stood a table, which was covered with beer, wine, whiskey, fruit platters, and snacks.

Several scantily clad, sexy women were dancing provocatively in front of the table.

The scene was enough to make anyone's blood boil.

Near the table, a middle-aged man sat on a sofa.

He had a cigar in his mouth, a dark complexion, and a long scar at the corner of his eye, giving him a menacing look.

Two women, also scantily clad, sat on either side of him.

Around the room, men in sunglasses stood with black pistols, motionless like bodyguards.

This man was Lucas, the owner of Starry Nights KTV and the successor to Luke in Oceanbridge City's underworld.

He had hundreds of men under him and countless businesses.

Lucas was enjoying himself, arms around the women on either side.

"Bob?" Lucas looked over as Noah's group entered, surprised. "How did you drink so much? Weren't you supposed to go to Orchard Breeze Avenue to get revenge at Noah's BBQ restaurant for your brother?"

Noah was about to speak when suddenly, Bob's eyes snapped open. He looked at Lucas and said in a trembling voice. "Lucas, run... run."

"What did you say?" Lucas frowned. The room was too loud, and he hadn't heard clearly.

But Bob's bulging eyes and bruised face, though bloodless, showed he was seriously injured.

Lucas felt a bad premonition.

Bob gathered all his strength and shouted, "Lucas, run, there's danger!"

Lucas finally heard him. His face turned cold, and he shouted, "Shoot! Capture them!"

The bodyguards around the room received the order and immediately aimed at Noah and his group, pulling the triggers without hesitation.

In an instant, the room erupted in a barrage of gunfire.
