Chapter 372 Famous in Silverlight City

Luna giggled, "But Clementine's so tight-lipped. I asked her how she met you, but she wouldn't spill. She just talked about the live streaming stuff."

She pouted, looking a bit annoyed.

Clementine could only shake her head helplessly. She was quiet, rational, and tactful. Without Noah's permission, she wouldn't disclose anything about their contract or the fact that Noah owned Facebook Live.

No one in the live streaming world knew who the boss behind Facebook Live was, and Noah clearly wanted to keep it that way. Since Noah wanted it hidden, Clementine naturally wouldn't say a word. She was very perceptive and good at reading people.

Noah smiled, "If Clementine doesn't want to say, then don't push it. It's getting late, you should hit the sack."

"Alright! Bedtime, bedtime!" Luna, being carefree, didn't mind much and immediately went to her room to sleep. Clementine also said goodnight to her viewers and went to bed.

'Tomorrow, we need to go to Jesse's place. Just the four of us from East won't be enough. We'll need to bring some people over from Respect Noah Pavilion,' Noah thought to himself as he returned to his room.

He understood the power of numbers. Even though he was skilled, if he were faced with a dozen guns, he wouldn't stand a chance.

With this in mind, Noah called Ethan, instructing him to bring people over from Respect Noah Pavilion overnight.

Ethan agreed and assured Noah that he would arrange it immediately. After taking care of everything, Noah finally went to sleep.

At seven in the morning, Noah got up for breakfast. Luna was already awake, but Clementine was still sleeping since she had gone to bed late the previous night.

"Luna, you're up early," Noah said as he entered the living room and saw Luna drinking milk and eating bread.

"Yeah! Larry's call woke me up early," Luna said, rubbing her sleepy eyes, looking a bit annoyed.

"Larry? What did he want?" Noah asked, sitting across from Luna and taking a sip of the hot milk that was already prepared.

"To borrow money," Luna said with a sigh. "Larry's been broke. Even though he knows some business owners here in Silverlight City, he doesn't have any money himself, so they don't take him seriously. He's really short on cash."

"How much does he want to borrow?" Noah asked.

"Six hundred grand," Luna said helplessly. "Larry's family seems to know exactly how much money I have. Last month, I made over fifty thousand dollars from my live streams, and with my savings, it adds up to just over six hundred thousand dollars."

Noah shook his head. Larry was really bold in asking for money.

"Did you lend it to him?" Noah asked again.

"I'm still torn," Luna pouted. "Larry's having a hard time, and helping out is the right thing to do. If he asked for a few thousand dollars, I wouldn't mind, but six hundred grand is a lot. I'm really hesitant."

"But if I don't lend it to him, I feel bad," Luna continued. "I heard from Lisa that she used to help Larry's family a lot, but all she got in return was disdain. Lending them money was like helping an enemy."

Noah nodded. In the beginning, Lisa often helped Larry's family when they couldn't even afford bus fare. But once they got back on their feet, all she received was contempt and ridicule.

At that moment, Luna's phone rang on the table.

"It's Larry calling!" Luna's face changed when she saw the number. "What should I do, Noah? Should I answer? He's probably going to ask for money again."

"I'll take it," Noah said, picking up the phone.

"Okay!" Luna nodded, relieved. She didn't know how to handle such a difficult situation.

"Luna, come on, you should just lend me the money! You're a streamer, you don't have many expenses, right? The money is just sitting there, but I can put it to good use," Larry's voice came through the phone. "Don't worry, I'll definitely pay you back within a year!"

"No, if you want to borrow money, find someone else," Noah said calmly and then hung up the phone.

"Alright, I turned him down for you," Noah said, handing the phone back to Luna.

"You're the best. I'm really bad at saying no to people. I'm always afraid they'll get mad," Luna said with a giggle.

"Next time Larry calls to borrow money, just do what I did and say no," Noah advised. He knew all too well the ugly side of Larry's family. If they lent money this time, there would definitely be a next time.

Given Luna's income, Larry might start asking for money every month. And if Luna ever stopped lending, Larry's family would surely resent her, just like they did with Noah and Lisa. It was better to refuse from the start.

"Next time Larry calls, I'll do just that!" Luna nodded.

Her phone buzzed again, this time with a news notification.

#Our city's police, with the help of the influencer 'Rolls-Royce Guy,' have cracked a major drug trafficking case!

"Rolls-Royce Guy? Shouldn't he be in Oceanbridge city?" Luna was stunned and clicked on the news.

At the same time, this news was being pushed to millions of people across Silverlight City. The entire city was buzzing.

"Great job, Silverlight City police, for cracking the drug trafficking case!"

"Isn't Rolls-Royce Guy an influencer from Oceanbridge City?"

"Impressive!"

"What! My idol Rolls-Royce Guy helped the police crack another case!"

"Another Good Citizen Award!"

"That's amazing!"

"In Oceanbridge City, he's really famous. He's wealthy, talented, and has even helped the police take down a gang!"

"I didn't expect him to be just as impressive in Silverlight City!"

Discussions about Rolls-Royce Guy were popping up all over Silverlight City. Some people had never heard of this influencer before, but after seeing the news, they were full of praise and became instant fans.

Others were long-time fans of Rolls-Royce Guy. It had been a while since they had heard any news about him, and now he had made a stunning comeback by helping the police crack a drug trafficking case, which made their blood boil with excitement.

When they saw the video of him receiving an award, many even were moved to tears. This was a true influencer, spreading positive energy in society!

In a modest motel in Silverlight City, Larry was fuming. "Damn it, that useless Noah answered the phone and flat out refused to lend me money!"

He gritted his teeth, seething with anger. "How am I, Larry, any worse than that useless Noah? Why does Luna listen to him so much?" He was frustrated and resentful, shaking with rage.
