Chapter 145 Everything is Lost
Troy looked at his phone and saw that it was his father.

"Hello, Dad, a poor guy’s picking on me." Troy answered the call, his voice choked.

"What? Dad, don't you give Chairman Chen millions in bribes every year? Why would he want to investigate our financial records?" Troy was taken aback.
The Lopez family had made their fortune in finance, but they also made a lot of dirty money, especially in their records. An investigation would expose. If their records were examined, there would definitely be trouble!
"How would I know? In any case, this is a big problem. I suspect some big shot wants to mess with our family. All our bank accounts have been frozen. If we don't run, we could end up in jail!" Troy's father said.

"Dad, are you saying our family... is collapsing?"

Just now, Noah had gotten Aiden to carve two bloody cuts on his face.

Then, he had received a call from Samuel, telling him that he would no longer be president of the East Sea Development Bank.
That was the destruction of his job.
And now, he had received a call from his father saying that their family was going to be investigated by the banking regulatory commission. The Lopez family was collapsing, and if they couldn't escape, they would end up in jail.
Wasn't this exactly what Noah meant? He wanted to destroy his family background, job, and appearance... everything Troy took pride in.
Troy's scalp went numb as he thought about it, and he couldn’t help but tremble.
"Was all of this really caused by that useless Noah?" Troy looked at Noah with disbelief and suspicion. At that moment, the young man stood there, hands behind his back, smiling at him.
The thought sprang up in Troy's mind. "It's him! It must be him!" Troy went crazy and shouted, "Noah! You're the mastermind behind all of this, aren't you?"
On the phone, Troy's father asked, "What's wrong with you? What are you talking about?" He continued, "Come back quickly, we need to buy plane tickets and leave the country! Your old man's life has been ruined, and the future will depend on you!"
Troy threw his phone away and pounded his chest, shouting, "Noah, this is all because of you, isn't it?
"I've been slashed in the face, lost my job, and the bank is investigating my family's finances! It's all because of you, right?"
Despair appeared on Troy's face as he tore at his hair and wailed in anguish, "My family, my job, my looks, now... all gone, all gone! Noah, you worthless piece of trash! Is it true?"
"It's me," Noah said calmly.
"Just as I thought!" Troy went crazy, his eyes bloodshot, and lunged at Noah with bared teeth and claws, shouting, "I'm going to kill you!"
Before he could reach Noah, Aiden kicked him away, wondering, "Has this guy gone mad?"
Troy fell to the ground. He got up again and charged at Noah, yelling, "Noah, I'm going to kill you!"
He couldn't get close to Noah at all. Aiden had kicked him away again.
Noah stood with his hands behind his back and walked outside, his voice faintly lingering, "Troy, I told you, I’ll make you suffer more staying alive than dying. Enjoy the pain while you can. You will never experience the allure of money again in your life."
"Noah, you worthless piece of trash, don't go!" Troy shouted, trying to pounce on Noah. But it was futile. Aiden kicked him away with every step forward he took, leaving him no choice but to watch Noah disappear.
Bang! He sat on the ground, his face filled with despair, mumbling to himself, "It's all gone... everything is gone..."
Regret, envy, and pain... all kinds of emotions surged in his heart.
Outside the Blue Sky Building, Noah saw Lisa's car parked on the side of the road. Lisa, who was standing next to the car, looked anxious, and her eyes teared up when she saw Noah. She immediately hugged Noah, her delicate hands touching him as if to make sure he was unharmed. "Honey, are you okay?"
There was a look of worry on her pretty face.
"It's nothing." Noah smiled and shook his head, patting Lisa's head. "Why are you standing outside the car? It's freezing."
"I was worried about you. I’m glad you're okay." Lisa let out a long sigh of relief.
"Let's get in the car first."
They got in the car and Noah started the engine. He said, "Tell me about Troy and how he kidnapped you."
"haha, it's all Alex's fault. He tricked me!" Lisa snorted coldly and briefly explained what happened.
"Alex?"
Noah's eyes turned cold. When he first walked in, he had kicked someone hard, and if he remembered correctly, it was Alex.
But at the time, he hadn't taken a closer look at him, so he hadn't realized it was Alex.
He never expected that Alex would lie and say Daniel had been in car accident to deceive Lisa into going to the Blue Sky Building.
"How could someone from the same village do such a thing? He's practically a relative." Noah's eyes filled with even more coldness.
"Noah, what happened to Troy and Alex?" Lisa couldn't help but ask.
