Chapter 346 Expelling Noah

Emma was momentarily taken aback, then she smiled and said, "Mr. Anderson, even if you're interested, investing in physical industries is a money pit. It's like throwing cash into a black hole."

"Take a synthetic fiber factory, for example. The production equipment alone can cost eight to nine hundred million dollars. And the environmental protection gear for an oil refinery can run over a billion. Nathaniel's got over a dozen factories that need upgrades."

"Even if Nathaniel chips in for the environmental equipment, and both parties invest, without at least six billion dollars, it's not happening."

Emma's message was clear: if they couldn't come up with six billion dollars, they shouldn't bother.

In Emma's view, the boss Noah mentioned probably had a net worth of a few million dollars, maybe a little over ten million. People usually associate with those in their own social class, and it's unlikely to be much higher.

The gap in status and position was hard to bridge. Noah, a guitar teacher with a monthly salary of a few thousand dollars, couldn't possibly know any real big shots. His perspective is limited to his own circle. The boss he mentioned might just be an ordinary person with some money in Emma's eyes.

"Six billion dollars isn't much. My friend should be able to swing it," Noah said seriously, stroking his chin.

"Mr. Anderson, are you serious?" Emma was stunned, her eyes wide open. "This is six billion , not sixty million."

She found it hard to believe that Noah knew such a wealthy person. But Noah's expression didn't seem fake.

"How about this, let's add each other on Facebook. I'll talk to him about it. He's always been interested in physical industries but hasn't found a place to invest his money. If this project is good, he'll invest," Noah said earnestly.

"Alright!" Emma nodded. If Noah was telling the truth and the boss existed and was willing to invest, Emma could gain a lot from it. Since her husband's death, Emma had become a workaholic, focusing intensely on work-related matters.

"Please inform me immediately once you reach an agreement. I'll also inform Mr. Harris," Emma added.

"Okay." Noah nodded.

Afterward, Emma cooked, and Noah had a simple meal at her place. After dinner, Noah brought up Genevieve's education issues. Hearing about the trouble Genevieve had with some thugs trying to take her away, Emma felt deeply ashamed and blamed herself for neglecting Genevieve's education due to her work.

Emma was genuinely grateful for Noah's help this time. Then, Noah went over the basic guitar knowledge he had taught in the morning with Genevieve again before leaving.

Leaving Blossom Community, Noah pondered the matter of funding the Harris family's factory to purchase environmental equipment. The boss he mentioned was, of course, himself. However, Noah couldn't show up directly. If he did, the Harris family, with Zaid around, would definitely notice him.

'So, this six billion dollars needs to be handed over to someone trustworthy to act on my behalf, invest in the Harris family's environmental equipment, and then acquire shares in their factories,' Noah thought, stroking his chin. He already had a suitable candidate in mind.

Next, Noah didn't rush home but headed to the Silverlight City business department to submit the application materials for an Evergreen Market branch.

He planned to open a new branch in Silverlight City, which required a business license and a bank account, among other things. The process was quite tedious, and it took Noah until evening to complete most of it.

'Once the business license is issued, the branch can start operating,' Noah thought, breathing a sigh of relief as he left the business department.

'Besides that, there's also the matter of choosing a location for the supermarket. I'll need to send someone over for that. I can't handle everything alone,' Noah thought to himself.

He immediately sent a Facebook message to Timothy, asking him to send a capable person to Silverlight City to handle the Evergreen Market branch work.

At 7 PM, Noah returned to the Hilton Hotel. Before bed, he took two anti-inflammatory pills and applied a layer of aloe vera gel before falling asleep. By the end of the day, the swelling on his face had significantly reduced, and he expected to be fully recovered by tomorrow.

The next morning, Noah, just like the day before, drove Clementine to work at Silverline Square. Timothy had already replied on Facebook, saying that the person he was sending would arrive in Silverlight City around noon.

On the way, Noah called Xavier, telling him that he needed more money. Xavier said he would report the matter to Larry, and once approved, the funds would be transferred.

Noah's original bank account had over a hundred billion dollars, but recent expenses had reduced it to just a few billion, which was not enough to invest in the Harris family's environmental equipment.

Not to mention the subsequent plans to destroy the Harris family and eliminate the Murphy family, all of which required money. So, Noah needed to ask for more funds.

At 8:30 AM, Noah arrived at Punk Guitar on time.

"Noah, you still know how to show up?!" Kurt blocked Noah as soon as he entered, his eyes cold. "You skipped work yesterday without any reason, and you have the nerve to come back today?"

"According to the contract, skipping work only results in a day's pay being docked. There shouldn't be any other penalties," Noah said calmly, knowing exactly what he was doing.

"Noah, you remember the contract?" Kurt was surprised, then sneered. "According to the contract, skipping work only results in a day's pay being docked. But you not only skipped work, you also fought someone on the premises, which is a serious violation of Punk Guitar's rules. So, you're fired!"

"My student was in trouble. Was I supposed to just stand by and watch them get bullied?" Noah frowned.

"That's not my concern. You need to talk to the boss about it. He's waiting for you in the conference room," Kurt said with a cold smile, confident that Noah would be fired.

Noah's expression remained unchanged as he walked towards the conference room. Inside, Audrey and the other female teachers were seated. At the head of the long table sat a man in his thirties, dressed in trendy denim with a guitar by his side.

This was Francis Vasquez, the owner of Punk Guitar.

"Mr. Vasquez, I've brought Noah," Kurt said, grinning obsequiously.

"You're Noah?" Francis looked at Noah, his face expressionless.

Noah nodded.

"I've heard everything. You skipped work and fought someone on the premises. Mr. Lowe suggested that you collect your pay for the past few days and then be fired," Francis said. "What do you have to say for yourself? Any explanations?"
