Chapter 414 Then Eliminate Them

"Someone from a higher level has intervened," Noah remarked, his eyes glinting with understanding.

The Harris family scandal had grown enormous, known nationwide. Yet somehow, all negative news about them had mysteriously vanished.

If the influence had been limited to Eastern Eagleland, the Harris family pulling strings to suppress public opinion would be understandable. But the scandal had already spread throughout the entire country.

For someone to suppress public discourse on such a scale was truly shocking—it spoke volumes about the terrifying power of whoever had stepped in.

"The Harris family must have found help from a dynasty," Noah concluded.

"Almost certainly. Only a dynasty has enough power to suppress public opinion across all of Eagleland," Tomas agreed, a sense of helplessness rising within him.

"I never imagined the Harris family had dynasty-level backing! If that's the case, destroying them becomes nearly impossible!"

Tomas deeply understood the terrifying implications of what "dynasty" meant. These were families capable of influencing national destiny.

"Still, we've done remarkably well," Noah said with a slight smile, already contemplating his next move. "That fine is enough to severely wound the Harris family."

At 8:10 PM at the Harris Manor, Nathaniel, Rhett, Otto, and other Harris family leaders gathered around a table laden with luxurious seafood—lobster, abalone, and other delicacies.

They had all been released and their faces glowed with triumph.

"Who would have thought our family could weather such a massive crisis? We owe everything to Father!" Nathaniel beamed as he raised his glass.

"To Father!""To Grandfather!"

Everyone clinked glasses and drank deeply.

"We've paid the one-hundred-billion-dollar fine, and the Harris family is now safe," Isaac said, setting down his glass. "The White family contacted me immediately after hearing the news. York personally called to propose a truce. I naturally agreed to let bygones be bygones."

He continued pragmatically, "Our cash flow is tight after paying that fine, so we should maintain good relations with the other elite families and avoid conflicts for now."

"But I've noted this grudge. Next year, when the Harris family rises again, we'll certainly make trouble for the White family!"

"What about the Moore family?" Nathaniel asked.

With their problems seemingly resolved, the Harris family's focus had shifted to the attitudes of the other two major families.

Noah had been dismissed from their minds entirely. In their view, he was merely a small-time operator with a few tricks who had managed to catch them off guard by mobilizing social media influencers to amplify public outrage.

Now that they were aware, such a thing could never happen again.

"The Moore family..." Isaac frowned slightly. "Atticus refuses to be reasonable. I just called him, and he's still insisting on a fight to the death. The man comes from a business background—how did he suddenly become so stubborn? Doesn't he understand that a war between our families would harm the Moore family too?"

"Why? I remember Atticus being quite shrewd. This kind of impulsive behavior doesn't seem like him," Nathaniel said, puzzled.

"Never mind. As long as the White family makes peace with us, we won't face too much pressure in our future development," Isaac said with a dismissive wave.

Then, his eyes flashed as if struck by a thought: "What I really want to know is how Noah feels right now. After all his meticulous planning to destroy the Harris family—coming so close to succeeding only to fail at the last moment—he must be absolutely furious!"

The table erupted with mockery.

"He's probably miserable!"

"He's probably miserable!"

"He's young—his psychological resilience can't be that strong. This failure must be devastating for him!"

"He's probably drowning his sorrows in alcohol right now!"

Isaac pulled out his phone and dialed Noah's number.

"Noah, it's me, Isaac. You saw the eight o'clock news, didn't you?" he said when the call connected.

"I did. What about it?" Noah's voice came through.

"Then you should understand that the Harris family will not fall," Isaac said with a cold smile. "For a nobody like you to push the Harris family to the brink—forcing us to call in favors from a dynasty—that's something you could brag about for a lifetime."

His voice dripped with mockery. "Though at your level, you probably don't even understand what a dynasty represents."

"My previous three conditions still stand. Meet them, and the Harris family will ensure your safety. Refuse, and once the Harris family recovers and this public opinion crisis completely subsides, you'll learn firsthand what the Harris family's wrath means."

"The Harris family's wrath? I'd like to see it," Noah scoffed before hanging up.

Though Noah hadn't yet devised a strategy against the current state of the Harris family, he was confident in his ability to protect himself. Isaac's threats seemed like empty bluster to him.

---

At 8:30 PM, in a room at the Silverlight City Reception Center, soft yellow light illuminated thick red carpeting.

A woman sat on a sofa, her chin resting on her right hand, her gaze calm yet emanating a subtle authority that made it difficult to breathe in her presence.

Standing respectfully before her was a middle-aged man—none other than Atticus.

"Is all of Lisa's information here?" the woman asked, casually placing a stack of documents on the table beside her.

"Yes, everything is there," Atticus replied with a slight tremor in his body.

Upon hearing that Jade had arrived in Silverlight City, Atticus had immediately driven from Skylake State to meet her.

"Good. I've reviewed it all," Jade said dispassionately. "This Lisa comes from an ordinary background with an ordinary family. She's not worthy of Noah."

"With her, Noah must have endured considerable hardship. Find an opportunity to make them divorce."

Her voice was calm but brooked no argument.

Atticus lowered his head in silence.

"I hear you've declared war on a minor family in Eastern Eagleland?" Jade continued.

"Yes, Mrs. Anderson. It was Mr. Anderson's wish."

"It seems he has quite a grudge against this small family to go to such lengths. Yet Xavier never mentioned this to me—perhaps he doesn't even know," Jade's eyes flickered. "Tell me everything that happened, from beginning to end."

"Of course." Atticus dared not conceal anything.

He recounted the entire Harris family affair from start to finish, including how nationwide public opinion against them had been mysteriously suppressed.

"I hadn't expected this," Jade said with a slight smile. "For Noah to severely damage the Harris family on his own merits is quite impressive."

Then, almost casually, she added, "Since this Harris family has made trouble for the future leader of the Anderson family... eliminate them."
