Chapter 285 Kick Him Out of the Group Chat
"Alright, Mr. Anderson!" Sofia quickly responded.
Inside the private room, the sponsors and the production team exchanged pleasantries for a while longer. The celebration dinner was officially over, and the group began to make their way out of the restaurant.
Outside, Noah walked over to his car, with Zaid following close behind. His Mercedes G350 was parked right next to Noah's car.
"Mr. Anderson, about what we talked about earlier, have you thought it over?" Zaid asked, not getting into his car just yet, but instead looking at Noah with a smile.
"Your family is interested in my californium, but even if I wanted to sell it, I can't," Noah replied. "Most of the californium has already been made into radiotherapy equipment and sold to hospitals for cancer treatment. There's none left."
"Mr. Anderson, you sure know how to joke," Zaid shook his head, a sharp glint in his eyes. "I supply medical equipment to thirty percent of the hospitals in the eastern Eagleland. So, I have a pretty good idea of the number of californium radiotherapy devices out there. The production process for these devices is extremely complex; there's no way you could have used up all the californium so quickly."
"According to the Harris family's intel, half of the californium was sold to the Eastern Military District. A quarter was made into radiotherapy devices, and there's still a quarter left unused."
Noah's brow furrowed slightly at this.
Zaid was right; there was indeed a quarter of the californium left unused.
The reason for this was that the Benson family's influence only extended to the surrounding areas of Oceanbridge City. As a result, only a dozen radiotherapy devices were produced and distributed to nearby cities.
Expanding to all major cities in the eastern Eagleland faced significant resistance. Deploying a radiotherapy device in a city meant encroaching on the interests of other medical equipment companies, who naturally resisted the Benson family's devices.
Lily had been working hard to expand the deployment of these devices across the eastern Eagleland, but progress was slow due to the heavy resistance.
This left a quarter of the californium unused, with no place to deploy it.
"Mr. Harris, you have quite the network," Noah said, his gaze turning slightly cold as he looked at Zaid.
"Oh, it's not my network, it's the Harris family's network in Silverlight City," Zaid chuckled, emphasizing "Silverlight City" in his tone.
Noah understood the implication behind Zaid's words. He was using the Harris family's influence in Silverlight City to pressure Noah.
"Mr. Anderson, that californium is worth about a billion dollars. Now, with only a quarter left, it's worth 250 million dollars. How about this: My family is willing to pay 500 million dollars for the quarter you have left."
"This deal is definitely beneficial for you, Mr. Anderson. What do you think?"
Noah laughed coldly, "You have quite the plan. Even if there's only a quarter left, if made into radiotherapy devices and deployed in hospitals for cancer treatment, the revenue over the next five to ten years would far exceed 500 million dollars. I estimate the five-year revenue to be at least a billion dollars. So, why should I sell the californium to you?"
Zaid's expression remained unchanged, and he chuckled lightly. "Mr. Anderson, you're right. That quarter of californium could generate at least a billion dollars in revenue over the next five years. But I control thirty percent of the medical equipment in the eastern Eagleland."
"I know the leaders of hospitals in all forty-three cities in the eastern Eagleland, and we have deep cooperation. With just one word from me, I guarantee they won't allow you to deploy your radiotherapy devices."
Zaid's eyes were filled with confidence. "In that case, your quarter of californium will just rot in your hands. Even the devices you've already deployed will be returned."
"Your californium will become useless junk!"
"Noah, I advise you to think carefully. Otherwise, all your previous efforts will turn to dust. That californium will be nothing but a decoration in your hands, completely useless."
After hearing this, Noah looked at Zaid calmly. "Are you threatening me?"
"Yes, I am," Zaid admitted directly, his smile turning cold. "And it's not just me threatening you; it's one of the three major families in the eastern Eagleland, the Harris family."
"If you sell the californium to the Harris family for 500 million dollars, everyone will be happy. The radiotherapy devices in the surrounding cities of Oceanbridge City have already earned you a lot of money. You should be satisfied."
"But if you refuse to sell, don't blame me for being ruthless. All the radiotherapy devices in those cities will be returned, turning into useless junk in your hands. And I guarantee that no hospital in the eastern area will dare to let you deploy your devices."
"You, Noah, will lose everything! Just making one californium radiotherapy device costs a lot of money, right?"
After finishing, Zaid looked at Noah with a cold gaze, waiting for his decision.
In his view, Noah wouldn't refuse.
If he sold, both sides would benefit.
If he didn't sell, Noah would lose a lot of money, and the californium radiotherapy devices would become useless junk. Plus, he would offend the Harris family.
So, Zaid believed that anyone with a bit of sense would agree. Naturally, Noah would agree too.
"No one has ever threatened me like this before," Noah said, feeling a bit sentimental, and waved his hand.
"Mr. Anderson, what can I do for you?" Nathan immediately walked over.
"He's one of the sponsors of 'I Am a Super Rich,' right?" Noah glanced at Zaid.
"Yes, Mr. Zaid sponsored a billion dollars for 'I Am a Super Rich,'" Nathan replied promptly.
"Remove him from the group chat and cover the billion dollars from our company account," Noah said calmly.
"Alright, Mr. Anderson!"
Nathan took out his phone and immediately removed Zaid from the 'I Am a Super Rich' sponsors group chat.
Zaid's phone instantly buzzed with a notification.
He picked it up and saw: [You have been removed from the group chat.]
"Noah, how dare you!" Zaid's eyes widened, burning with anger. Noah was completely disregarding him and the Harris family behind him!
"This is just a small lesson," Noah said, opening his car door and giving Zaid a sidelong glance. "As for selling the californium to you, I suggest you go home and sleep on it. In your dreams, anything is possible."
"And about your threat to make me lose everything and turn my californium into junk..."
