Chapter 294 You Will Regret It

"Noah, I can't believe it. You smooth talker, you even managed to fool my mom into agreeing to work with your lousy delivery company!" Gideon was shaking with rage. "Your sweet-talking is really something!"

He tore the contract in half, but even that didn't cool his anger.

He kept ripping the documents apart.

In no time, the thick stack of contracts was shredded into pieces!

He flung the pieces into the air.

The fragments fell to the ground like snowflakes.

Gideon took a deep breath, feeling his anger dissipate somewhat.

"Noah, now that I've torn up the contract, it doesn't matter if my mom signed it. It's worthless!" Gideon sneered at Noah. "Are you upset now? Frustrated? You worked so hard to partner with my family, the Winchesters, and just when you were dreaming big, I shattered your dream!"

Noah's expression remained unchanged as he calmly looked at Gideon. "You'll regret this."

"Regret?" Gideon scoffed. "The Winchesters partnering with someone like you? I'd regret that! And the one who's going to regret this isn't me, it's you!"

He waved his hand, and four bodyguards immediately surrounded Noah, their eyes cold and ready to strike.

"Noah, you think you're tough? Fine, today I'll show you what real toughness is! These four bodyguards are highly paid by us, all ex-military, and you're no match for them."

Gideon's eyes gleamed with cruelty as he shouted, "Break his legs!"

The bodyguards, eyes filled with malice, clenched their fists and prepared to attack.

The tension in the air was palpable.

Noah smirked, unfazed by the ex-military bodyguards.

Just as both sides were about to clash, a sharp voice rang out, "Stop!"

"Who?" Noah turned to see a girl approaching from the sidewalk.

She looked to be around twenty, with short hair and a slightly boyish face.

"Why are you attacking someone in the street?" she demanded, glaring at the bodyguards.

She pulled out her phone and started recording. "This is a lawful society. Attacking someone in the street is illegal! And four against one?"

She then smiled at Noah, showing her white teeth. "Sir, don't be afraid. If they hit you, I'll record it and call the police. They'll all end up in jail!"

Noah was momentarily stunned, then shook his head in exasperation. If she recorded the fight, it wouldn't be him getting beaten, but the bodyguards.

"Miss, I suggest you mind your own business," Gideon said coldly, frowning at the girl. "This is a Winchester family matter. Stay out of it!"

"Winchester family? Never heard of it," the girl said, confused. "I'm doing the right thing. If you dare to hit him, I'll call the police!"

"Call the police?" Gideon laughed. "Miss, even if you do, it won't matter. We'll just pay bail and get out. The Winchesters have plenty of money!"

"What?" The girl's face paled. She turned to Noah, worried. "Sir, you should run! These people are rich and powerful. You can't fight them!"

"Run? After finally catching this scumbag, you think I'll let him go so easily?" Gideon sneered and waved his hand. "One of you, take her phone. The rest, break his legs!"

"Yes, Sir!"

One of the bodyguards stepped forward, quickly snatching the girl's phone and grabbing her arm, restraining her.

"Let go of me! It hurts!" The girl struggled, but it was no use. She looked at Noah desperately. "Sir, run!"

"Run? You think he can run? Get him!" Gideon shouted, and the three bodyguards charged at Noah.

The girl closed her eyes in fear. 'He's going to be beaten to a pulp,' she thought.

She heard the sound of fists hitting flesh and winced.

'Please don't let him die,' she prayed silently.

Then she heard cries of pain.

"My leg!"

"It hurts so much!"

The cries were different, coming from multiple people, and the girl opened her eyes in surprise.

She saw the three bodyguards on the ground, clutching their stomachs, legs, and shoulders, their faces red with pain and sweat pouring from their foreheads.

The scene was completely unexpected.

She had imagined Noah being beaten bloody, but instead, it was the bodyguards who were in bad shape.

Noah stood there, unharmed.

Gideon's eyes widened in shock, his mind reeling.

He had seen it all. The three highly paid bodyguards, all ex-military, had been taken down by Noah in an instant.

It was like an adult fighting childs.

'This guy's skills are terrifying!' Gideon thought, horrified.

He knew Noah was tough, but not this tough!

Those bodyguards had military backgrounds, and two of them had won martial arts championships.

But they were no match for Noah!

'No way, I can't confront Noah with force. I'll have to use connections and money to deal with him. Hiring people to fight him is pointless!' Gideon's mind raced, and he gritted his teeth, shouting to the last bodyguard, "You, stop him!"

Then he turned and jumped into his Jeep.

The Jeep roared to life and sped away.

Gideon fled in disgrace.

"Wait!" The last bodyguard released the girl and shouted after Gideon, then turned to Noah.

Meeting Noah's cold gaze, the bodyguard felt a chill down his spine and stepped back, trembling. "Don't come any closer!"
