Chapter 336 I Killed You!

"Money can drive people mad, but before we dive into acquiring these industries, we should really dig into the sectors the Harris family is involved in. Plus, getting control over some media outlets in Silverlight City, like Silverlight City TV and Silverlight City Morning News, would be crucial," Tomas said with a grin.

"Otherwise, even if we find dirt on them, those media outlets might just ignore it," Tomas added.

"Good point." Noah nodded. "How about you handle the investigation into the Harris family's industries?"

"Don't worry, Mr. Anderson. I got this."

"And what about the Murphy family?" Noah asked.

"The Murphy family is mixed up in the underworld, so we don't need to be as cautious. We should go in with force," Tomas's eyes gleamed coldly. "My plan is for you to send a few trusted people to infiltrate the underworld and gain their trust, aiming to reach the higher-ups of the Murphy family. When the time comes, we can hit them hard."

"That makes sense." Noah nodded. Tomas's two strategies were a perfect blend of soft and hard tactics.

As for the trusted people to infiltrate the Murphy family, Noah had already decided on Bodhi and some members from Respect Noah Pavilion. Bringing Bodhi to Silverlight City was part of a plan similar to Tomas's.

Bodhi's former boss was Lucas, whose superior was Luke, a relative of the Murphy family. With this connection, Bodhi should find it relatively easy to infiltrate the Murphy family.

"Mr. Savage, I'll leave the task of gathering information on the Harris family's industries to you," Noah said with a smile.

"Rest assured, Mr. Anderson. I'll handle it." Tomas nodded.

After chatting for a while, Noah sent a Facebook message to Ethan, asking him to send four of the most reliable members from Respect Noah Pavilion to Silverlight City. Then, he took the elevator down to the first floor, ready to leave.

"That loser Noah is coming out!" Kurt's eyes lit up as he spotted Noah.

"How come he's clean and unharmed?" Audrey blinked in surprise. "Didn't the boss beat him up for not paying the bill?"

"Yeah, it's strange. That was a $60,00 dinner bill. Is the Eyfel Hotel's boss really that generous and forgiving?" The female teachers were all astonished.

"Who knows what Noah and the boss talked about inside!" Kurt sneered. "Maybe Noah begged on his knees!"

"Two men alone in a room—could there have been some shady deal? Otherwise, how could Noah come out so easily?" Audrey joked.

"A shady deal? What are you thinking? The boss is in his seventies; he doesn't have that kind of energy anymore."

"I was just saying!"

"Alright, let's go. Don't bother with that loser," Kurt said.

Kurt was disappointed that Noah hadn't been beaten. He figured Noah must have done something or begged for mercy to be let off by the Eyfel Hotel's boss.

Kurt, Audrey, and the other teachers left the Eyfel Hotel without even glancing at Noah. Noah didn't bother with them either and drove back to the Hilton Hotel.

Ethan had already replied to Noah's message, saying he was picking out the most trustworthy members from Respect Noah Pavilion. They'd leave Oceanbridge City right away and should be in Silverlight City by eight or nine tonight, taking the Serenity District highway.

Half an hour later, Noah's car pulled into the Hilton Hotel parking lot. The lighting was dim, and after parking, Noah got out of the car.

Suddenly, he felt a cold, hard object pressed against the back of his head. He turned slightly and saw a burly man in sunglasses holding a black gun, the barrel pressed against his head.

"Don't move, kid. Or I'll kill you!" the man said coldly.

Noah's expression remained calm, his gaze forward, exuding a chilling aura.

Footsteps approached. Not far ahead, a young man emerged from beside a car. He wore a pink shirt, a tie, and had slicked-back hair. A Roger Dubuis watch gleamed on his wrist. It was Liam!

Behind him were two more burly men in sunglasses, looking like bodyguards.

"Noah, finally! I miss you too much!" Liam said, a cruel smile on his lips. "Don't move, or your head will be blown to bits like a watermelon."

"Having your bodyguards point a gun at me—do you know what that means?" Noah asked coldly.

Liam's ability to find out where Noah was staying didn't surprise him at all. For someone like Liam, it was a simple task.

"What does it mean?" Liam asked curiously.

"It means you're looking for death." Noah's voice was icy, filled with intense killing intent.

Liam was stunned, then burst into laughter. "Noah, are you joking? I'm looking for death? I'm from the Moore family, one of the three major families in the eastern part of Eagleland!"

"Pointing a gun at you means I'm looking for death? That's hilarious!"

Liam laughed so hard he clutched his stomach, almost laughing his guts out. Even his two bodyguards couldn't help but laugh.

"Noah, you should take a good look at yourself! Do you think throwing around some money means you can ignore my family?"

Liam's smile vanished, replaced by a vicious glare at Noah. "I've checked, and there's no Anderson family in all of Eagleland. You're just a small-time family member!"

"Do you know that families like yours can be crushed by my family a flick of a finger?"

"And yet you dared to bid against me and disrespect my family in front of everyone on that boat. You're the one asking for death!"

With that, Liam kicked Noah hard in the stomach, causing intense pain. Noah's brows furrowed, his eyes icy, ready to act.

"Don't move! Or I'll shoot!" The man behind him pressed the gun harder against Noah's head. The other two bodyguards stepped forward, guns aimed at Noah's temples.

Noah didn't move. With three guns aimed at vital spots, even his skills couldn't save him.

Liam said smugly. "Do you know that even if I kill you here in the parking lot, I'll be fine? We have connections and money! We can pay someone to take the fall for me, and I know people in the courts!"

With that, he kicked Noah in the stomach again.
