Chapter 325 The Infamously Notorious Larry
"Go ahead," Noah said.
"In two years, when my contract ends, I want to get into the entertainment industry. By then, I might not be able to renew my contract with you," Clementine said, sneaking a glance at Noah. "So, I hope you can let me go, Mr. Anderson."
Clementine's biggest fear was that in two years, Noah would use unreasonable terms to bind her, preventing her from leaving.
"I didn't expect you to want to be a star," Noah chuckled. "Don't worry, I'll let you go. But by then, you might not want to leave."
"What?" Clementine blinked, her heart racing. Did Noah have some other plans for her?
Her heartbeat quickened slightly.
Soon, the GMC arrived at the Hilton Hotel.
"A hotel?" Clementine looked out the window, her heart tightening. They had just signed the contract, and Noah was already taking her to a hotel. Could he really be planning something?
The thought made Clementine anxious.
"Let's go upstairs," Noah said as he and Bodhi got out of the car and entered the hotel.
"Okay!" Clementine lifted her dress carefully and followed them.
At the top floor, the presidential suite, Bodhi swiped the card to open the door.
The interior was lavishly decorated. A dazzling diamond chandelier hung from the ceiling in the living room, leaving Clementine momentarily stunned.
"Clementine, this presidential suite has four bedrooms. You can choose any one and settle in. It has a conference room, living room, central air conditioning, satellite TV, internet, kitchen, and a massage bathtub," Noah explained. "Tomorrow, I'll talk to Facebook Live. You can do your live streams from here."
"Mr. Anderson, I'll be streaming from here?" Clementine's mouth dropped open in surprise. "This presidential suite must be expensive!"
"Eighteen thousand dollars a day. I'll talk to the hotel front desk tomorrow and book it for a month," Noah said nonchalantly.
"Book it for a month!" Clementine was stunned. Noah was incredibly wealthy!
That meant the rent for the presidential suite alone would be over half a million dollars a month.
Clementine felt like a kept woman, a canary in a gilded cage.
"Don't feel too pressured. Just focus on your work," Noah said, noticing Clementine's thoughts.
"Okay!" Clementine nodded, feeling slightly relieved.
After Clementine settled in, Noah went to his room to sleep.
The next morning, Noah got up, washed up, and was about to have breakfast when Bodhi knocked on his door and entered his room.
"Noah, I need to talk to you," Bodhi said.
"Go ahead," Noah replied, yawning.
"I came to Silverlight City to handle my own matters and to help you deal with the Murphy family," Bodhi said. "I need to take some time off to handle my own issues first. Once that's done, I can fully focus on helping you."
"I thought it was something serious! Go ahead and take care of your matters. The Murphy family can wait. After all, they hold a significant position in the eastern underworld of Eagleland. Taking them down won't happen overnight; it requires careful planning," Noah smiled.
"That's good to hear! I'll leave then. If anything comes up, you can always contact me," Bodhi said, relieved that Noah was so understanding.
"Alright, take care of your business first," Noah said.
"Okay!"
After seeing Bodhi off, Noah's next step was to find Nathan from Shark Finance and inform him about Clementine joining Facebook Live.
Nathan quickly got back to Noah, letting him know they received the message and would hold a high-level meeting to discuss how to make Clementine a top streamer, complete with ample recommendations and resources.
Nathan also mentioned that the second episode of "I Am a Super Rich" had aired. However, the show had issued an official statement revealing that the previous episode's star, Larry, had used the show's money for illegal activities, including loan sharking.
As a result, Larry was kicked off the show, and all funds were reclaimed. His reputation was instantly trashed, and he was despised by millions of viewers.
Hearing this, Noah smirked. Larry's ruined reputation might lead to public scorn, insults, or even physical attacks if recognized on the street. But that was none of Noah's concern.
After hanging up the phone, Noah walked into the living room.
The breakfast server had already brought in milk, bread, and a vegetable salad.
Clementine was sitting there, eating breakfast, her large eyes gazing out at the bustling streets of Silverlight City, lost in thought.
Today, Clementine was dressed in sportswear with a white jacket over it. Her face was bare, her skin flawless, and her hair tied in a ponytail, giving her a vibrant look. The small pink mole on her forehead added a touch of charm.
"Mr. Anderson!" Clementine stood up quickly when she saw Noah approaching.
"You don't have to be so formal. Sit down," Noah said, sitting across from her and taking a sip of hot milk. "I've already talked to Facebook Live. They're having a meeting to plan your development. Once the plan is ready, you can start streaming."
"Thank you, Mr. Anderson!" Clementine said.
"It's my job. The better your streams, the more money I make." Noah gave her a smile. "Streaming is usually about five hours a day. Do you have any plans for the rest of your time?"
Five hours of streaming a day wasn't long. Clementine couldn't just stay in the suite doing nothing.
"I do have plans." Clementine nodded. "I want to find a job as a classical dance teacher to earn some extra income. I used to be a classical dance teacher, so finding a similar job shouldn't be too difficult."
"When do you plan to go?"
"Right after breakfast," Clementine said, determined and efficient.
"I'll go with you," Noah said after a moment's thought.
"Sure," Clementine agreed. Having Noah with her made her feel safe. After all, Noah was the only person she knew in Silverlight City.
After breakfast, Clementine didn't leave immediately. Instead, she opened a job search website to look for classical dance training institutions that were hiring and submitted her resume.
Soon, she received calls from various HR departments.
After discussing salary and work hours, she narrowed it down to two options.
One was at Silverline Square in Serenity District, and the other was at Red Star Building.
"Let's go to Silverline Square first. It's closer to our hotel," Clementine suggested.
"Alright." Noah nodded.
They went downstairs, and Noah drove Clementine to Silverline Square, which was only about two miles from the Hilton Hotel.
That institution was on the fourth floor; Noah and Clementine took the escalator up.
Along the way, many men couldn't help but cast admiring and covetous glances at Clementine.
