Chapter 127 Calling the Police

Everyone's gaze turned to Noah.

Noah said calmly, "I've said it before. If Daniel kneels down and apologizes to Chloe and admits to the theft, I won't pursue it any further. Let's just let this matter go. Otherwise, I'll have no choice but to call the police."

Bang!

Larry slammed his hand on the table and pointed at Noah, "Don't push it, Noah! Is it reasonable to ask Dad to kneel down? We're family. Honestly, think about whether your actions are right or wrong."

"Family?" Noah sneered and mocked Larry, "Larry, you have the audacity to talk about family. You should look into your own conscience. Since we're family, did you and Garrett conspire to harm my wife? Is that right?"

Boom!

These words were like thunder, leaving Larry dumbfounded.

Sarah's face also paled, her pupils contracting with shock.

"What do you mean, Noah? What conspiracy with Garrett are you talking about? I don't understand what you're saying!" Larry struggled to control his expression.

But deep inside, a storm was brewing.

How did thar useless Noah find out about him and Garrett? And that had happened so long ago, had Noah known all along but never said anything?

Lisa was also puzzled; she had no idea about this.

"If you didn't do it, how would anyone else know?" Noah stared at Larry, his gaze making Larry feel as if he had been seen through, as if every secret of his had been exposed.

"It's precisely because we're family that I haven't pursued what happened between you and Lisa fully, Larry," Noah's voice was icy.

"If I did, Larry, would you and Sarah still be happily together right now?"

Larry and Sarah were both dumbfounded.

"Larry, you coward! Stop talking nonsense about. I have no idea what you're talking about!" Larry said coldly.

"Yes, Noah, why are you trying to change the subject at a time like this?" Sarah's face turned icy. "We are currently discussing how you disrespected my father! Just tell us, how do you plan to handle this situation?"

Beep beep beep!

Suddenly, the sound of a police siren came from outside.

Everyone's faces changed and they looked at Noah.

"Noah, did you call the police?" Sarah asked.

"Yes," Noah nodded.

"Noah, are you even human? How dare you call the police to arrest our dad!" Larry shouted.

"Who called the police?" At this moment, a police officer walked in from outside.

When they saw the police, everyone immediately fell silent and dared not speak.

"It was me," Noah spoke up, pointing at Daniel. "This man stole my bull horn, it was worth three hundred thousand dollars. The golden bull is here."

Noah handed the golden bull to the police officer.

The police officer took the golden bull and examined it seriously.

"A theft of three hundred thousand dollars is a large theft. If he is sentenced, he would get at least eight years. But we haven’t confirmed whether or not he did it yet, so we need you to come to the police station to cooperate with the investigation and provide evidence."

"The police station?" Daniel's face turned pale. This matter could be easily investigated and he had already admitted to it.

"Officer, please don't rush to take my father to the police station," Sarah's eyes flashed as she quickly stepped forward. "My father did cut off a horn from the golden bull, but this is a family matter. How can you call it theft?"

"He is my father's son-in-law." Sarah pointed at Noah. "A father-in-law took something from his son-in-law behind his back. How can that be called theft?"

"That's right, Officer. To put it simply, this is a family matter. How can there be a sentence for this?" Larry also forced a smile.

"A family matter?" The police officer was stunned for a moment. "Even if it is a family matter, the amount involved is still three hundred thousand dollars, which is significant. It would be best if you come with me to the police station. If the parties involved press charges, there will still be a sentence. Of course, if the parties involved don't press charges, then we can let this matter go."

"Parties involved? Noah, are you worthy of being one of the parties involved?" Sarah sneered. "Max gave the golden bull to Lisa. It belongs to Lisa. What does it have to do with you?"

"That's right, Noah. You're sticking your nose where it doesn't belong." Larry rolled his eyes. "The golden bull has nothing to do with you. If anyone were to press charges, it would be Lisa. When did it become your turn?"

"Haha, that makes sense!"

Daniel laughed loudly and looked triumphantly at Noah. "Noah, this bull is not yours. Even if I take the whole bull, it has nothing to do with you! Even if I cut off the horns, what can you do? How dare you call the police! It's none of your business if I cutting off the horns!"

"Lisa, if dad cut off the horns, would you hold him accountable?" Sarah looked at Lisa.

Everyone also turned to look at her.

In their eyes, it was natural for Lisa not to hold her father accountable.

Daniel was Lisa's father, so how could a daughter send her own father to jail?

"Since the bull is yours, it's up to you to decide." The police officer said to Lisa, "After all, it's a family matter. If you don't pursue it, it'll just be a minor domestic dispute. If you do, then I'll take him back for investigation."

When Lisa saw everyone's gazes on her, she bit her lip and finally looked at Noah. "I'll go with what my husband says."

Boom!

When she said those words, everyone was dumbfounded, thinking they had misheard.
