Chapter 355 Aurelia

"That's right! Since the ATM is from our Skyray Bank, we can pull up the surveillance footage and see what this Noah looks like!" The financial manager said excitedly.

"Alright, let's split up. Evelyn, you check the surveillance footage, and I'll head to the highway to see if we can catch this big client!"

"Got it!" Evelyn nodded and headed towards the bank's surveillance control room.

Skyray Bank had surveillance cameras on all their ATMs in Silverlight City, which could be accessed at any time. Once in the control room, Evelyn quickly found the footage from the ATM near the highway from the last three minutes.

"I wonder what he looks like. Noah, what a weird name, makes me think of some poor guy! But as long as he has money, who cares!" Evelyn's cheeks flushed as she clicked on the video.

"What the...?" Evelyn's mouth dropped open in shock.

On the screen, the person withdrawing money wasn't a man. It was a stunningly beautiful woman with a classical charm and a small pink mole on her forehead.

"No way, this has to be a mistake. Where's Noah? How did he turn into a woman?"

Meanwhile, at the Silverlight City highway toll booth.

"Mr. Anderson, I got the money." Clementine got into the car, sitting in the passenger seat. She opened her bag and took out stacks of cash, totaling $100,000, and handed Noah his Skyray Bank card back.

Noah nodded. He had asked Clementine to withdraw the money because if a traffic cop came by, it would be easier to explain if someone was in the driver's seat. The $100,000 was for the people Timothy had sent.

Running a supermarket involved a lot of red tape, and greasing the wheels with various government departments would make things go smoother.

Noah put the card away and waited quietly for their contact to arrive, the car falling into silence.

"Mr. Anderson, earlier at Ancient Style and Charm, you said I was with you. What did you mean by that?" Clementine bit her lip and looked at Noah, a bit shy.

Noah was taken aback, not expecting Clementine to ask this question.

"I paid to sign you, so you're my person now. What else could it mean?" Noah chuckled.

"Is it really that simple?" Clementine was slightly stunned, a hint of disappointment in her eyes.

She had thought Noah might have feelings for her, which was why he said that in public. Clementine herself had feelings for Noah. After all, such an outstanding man like Noah could easily capture a woman's heart.

"What else could it mean?" Noah said helplessly.

"Alright." Clementine nodded, her heart beating a little faster. This was the first time she had been so forward with a man, but the result left her disappointed.

She then thought, could someone as excellent as Noah ever be a match for her? Right now, she was just a streamer, nowhere near Noah's level. But in two years, when her contract ended and she entered the entertainment industry and became a star, she would definitely be a match for Noah!

Clementine swore to herself.

Less than ten minutes later, a bus from Silverlight City to Oceanbridge City pulled over to the side of the road. A woman got off.

She had short, ear-length hair and looked very capable. Her face was smooth, she stood about 5'4", and her hips were firm and perky. She walked with a confident stride, giving off a strong, professional vibe.

The woman carried a black briefcase in her left hand. After getting off the bus, she looked around and, spotting Noah's car, walked over immediately.

Noah got out of the car as well.

"Mr. Anderson, hello. I'm Aurelia Kingsley, sent by Timothy to help you set up the Evergreen Market branch." Aurelia extended her right hand as she approached Noah.

"I have three years of experience working in supermarkets and will do my best to complete the job."

"Great, hop in." Noah nodded and shook her hand.

"Who's this?" Aurelia asked after getting in the car and noticing a woman in the passenger seat.

The woman was very beautiful, with an outstanding classical charm.

"My friend. You'll be living together, so I hope you two can get along well!" Noah started the car and smiled.

"Don't worry, Mr. Anderson. I'm only concerned with work," Aurelia said.

Clementine nodded. Compared to the strong-willed Aurelia, her own personality seemed softer.

The GMC left the toll booth and headed towards the Hilton.

Not long after Noah left, an Audi A6 pulled up. The financial manager from Skyray Bank got out and looked around, finding the place empty.

"Just missed them!" He looked frustrated. "Guess I'll go back and check the surveillance footage."

At the Hilton Hotel, Clementine started her live stream while Noah took out the Evergreen Market documents and a map of Silverlight City to discuss the future of the branch with Aurelia.

Seeing the two of them deep in discussion made Clementine feel uneasy. Aurelia's income might not match Clementine's, but at least it was a job that required effort, sweat, and hard work.

Clementine felt like she was just selling smiles in front of the camera. Even though she only danced and chatted, she felt like a performer, just there to entertain the wealthy.

The income was high, but the status was low.

'No wonder Mr. Anderson doesn't like me. Maybe he thinks the same way. In the end, I'm just a performer, and not even an actress.' Clementine glanced at Noah, her eyes dim.

She bit her lip and encouraged herself, 'In the future, I will become a star, and not just any star, but one known for my acting skills. I won't do those shallow movies! I'll make Mr. Anderson truly notice me!'

Noah and Aurelia discussed for three to four hours, finally mapping out a future direction for the Evergreen Market branches.

The supermarket's scale couldn't be limited to Silverlight City; they needed to open branches throughout the eastern part of Eagleland. Only then could they potentially become a publicly traded company within a year!

After the discussion, Noah was exhausted. He went to his room and fell asleep on the soft bed, planning to deal with Nathaniel's environmental equipment issues after he woke up.

He slept for three hours, and when he woke up, it was already dark, but he felt refreshed.

The moon hung outside the window, its light hazy. Silverlight City was bustling with traffic and noise.

Suddenly, Noah's phone rang. He picked it up and saw an unfamiliar number.

"Who is this?" Noah answered the call.

"Noah, it's me, Audrey." The voice on the other end was hesitant.

"Audrey?" Noah was surprised. He didn't expect Audrey to call.

When he joined Punk Guitar, he had left his phone number, so he wasn't surprised that Audrey had it.

"Do you need something?" Noah asked calmly.

"I called to apologize," Audrey said, pushing up her glasses and mustering the courage. "I might have said some harsh things to you at the company before. I hope you don't take it to heart."
