Chapter 401 Mutation!

Larry was thrilled as he left the Drunken Immortal Tavern, thinking about his new job at Daryl's company. He decided to splurge on some fancy clothes to make a good impression.

Oasis Villa.

Once home, Noah dialed Aurelia to let her know the Evergreen Market issue was sorted.

"Already? That was fast!" Aurelia sounded shocked. "Mr. Anderson, how'd you pull that off?"

She couldn't believe it. Even with Noah's money and influence, fixing the Evergreen Market problem so quickly seemed impossible. All the big real estate players in Silverlight City had blocked the opening of the Evergreen Market branch.

Yet, in just one day, Noah had made them back down. The speed was mind-blowing!

"Don't worry about it. Just keep doing your job," Noah said with a slight smile.

"Yes, Mr. Anderson!" Aurelia replied promptly.

With this hurdle cleared, the next steps would be smoother. Picking the right location and starting to stock up would soon see Evergreen Market spread across Silverlight City.

After hanging up, Noah spent the afternoon with his wife Lisa, chatting and watching TV, enjoying some cozy downtime together.

In the evening, Noah's phone rang suddenly.

"Noah, something's wrong! The Harris family is here!"

The voice was female, filled with fear.

Noah instantly recognized it as Lyric, Bodhi's woman.

"Where's Bodhi?" Noah's eyes narrowed as he asked.

"They took him to Old Memories Nightclub. They mentioned something about signing a contract... What are you doing? Let go of me!"

Lyric screamed, and then the call abruptly ended.

"The Harris family is making their move!"

Noah quickly pieced it together.

"Honey, I need to head out. I might be back late," Noah said, getting dressed. "Stay home and don't go anywhere. Actually, I'll have someone take you to the Hilton for now."

Noah's face was serious. The Harris family had suddenly targeted Bodhi, and Noah suspected he was next. Rhett knew where Noah lived, so it wasn't safe here.

Lisa looked at Noah with her big eyes, sensing something serious was up. She immediately felt worried.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Noah gently kissed Lisa's forehead, then called over a dozen people from the neighboring villa's Respect Noah Pavilion to escort Lisa to the Hilton.

He then drove to Old Memories Nightclub.

Meanwhile, Noah also called the people staying at Hilton for help.

On the way, Noah took out his phone and dialed:

"Terry, it's Noah."

"Mr. Anderson!" Terry's respectful voice came through immediately.

"How's the video of the Harris family factory workers' living conditions coming along?" Noah asked.

"It's edited and ready. Once this news is released, it will definitely cause a huge stir. It'll create a sensation in Silverlight City and even the eastern part of Eagleland!" Terry said excitedly.

As the editor-in-chief of the Silverlight City Daily, reporting such big news made him very excited.

"Good, then release it," Noah said calmly.

"Right now?" Terry asked, even more excited.

"Right now," Noah replied. "Also, I'll send you some photos. They show Nathaniel Harris with his mistress and Otto Harris with his illegitimate child. Release these too!"

"There's more!" Terry was stunned on the other end of the line. The Harris family was one of the three major families in the eastern part of Eagleland. The fact that their high-ranking members had such secrets was as big as the sweatshop news.

"Yeah, I'll send them to you shortly. If possible, don't treat it as exclusive news. Share it with other media outlets, newspapers, and news websites for a unified release," Noah instructed.

Terry was silent for a moment, then responded seriously, "Got it, Mr. Anderson!"

He knew Noah's move was aimed at the Harris family. Multiple media outlets releasing the news simultaneously would have greater exposure and deal a bigger blow to the Harris family!

After hanging up, Noah sent the photos Sidney had taken to Terry. Besides Nathaniel, Sidney had also captured Otto Harris with his illegitimate child today. The private lives of the Harris family high-ups were quite chaotic. The public loved this kind of news.

Noah then dialed Sidney, "Sidney, bring your people to Old Memories Nightclub in Gold Valley District. I have something for you to do."

"Mr. Anderson, Gold Valley District isn't my territory. If I bring people over..."

Sidney's voice was hesitant on the other end of the line.

"What, you don't want to come?" Noah's brow furrowed.

"No, no! Mr. Anderson, I'll bring people over right away!" Sidney's voice changed immediately, sounding terrified.

He broke out in a cold sweat. In that instant, he felt the icy aura from the other end of the line, making him shiver. Most importantly, his family's lives were in Noah's hands, so he didn't dare disobey Noah's orders.

After hanging up, Noah sped up, heading to Memories of Bodhi Nightclub.

Just ten minutes after Noah left Oasis Villa, several gunshots rang out, bullets hitting the lock on Noah's villa's security door. Then, a burly man with a gun kicked the door hard!

The security door was kicked open, and seven or eight burly men filed in. These men were tall, with cold auras, each holding a black gun with long silencers.

A young man in a wheelchair slowly entered the villa. The young man was wrapped in white bandages, only his face exposed. It was Rhett!

His eyes were bloodshot, filled with murderous intent, "Where's Noah? I want revenge. I want him dead! Dead! Dead! And I will make his beautiful wife suffer!"

"Mr. Harris, there's no one in the villa!"

A burly man quickly came down the stairs and reported respectfully.

"No one? Damn it, where are they?"

Rhett was stunned and shouted, "Search the place! If you can't find them, smash the TV, fridge, sofa, and table!"

"Yes, sir!"

His men began ransacking the villa.

Various sounds echoed as the TV was thrown to the ground, the table smashed, and the vase knocked over... In no time, the place was a mess.

"Mr. Harris, we've searched everywhere—under the bed, in the wardrobe, in the corners—and there's still no one," the burly man reported again.

Rhett was surprised, then sneered, "Wait here. He can't escape! All roads and highways leading out of Silverlight City are being monitored 24/7 by our people in the traffic system. If he's spotted, he'll be intercepted!"

"Noah, you can't escape!"
