"Why wouldn't I?" Noah retorted. "You stole someone else's property without permission, valued at three hundred thousand. It's a serious crime, so why wouldn't I report you? And, if you insist on saying that Max gave the golden bull to Lisa, I can call Max to ask who he really gave the bull to."
"Noah, you useless coward, you’re trying to revolt against me, huh?" Daniel stomped his foot in anger. "Do you dare to call the police on your father-in-law?"
As he said that, he took out his phone and dialed a number.
"Hey, Daniel, what's up?" Larry said.
"What are you doing?" Daniel asked.
"I'm working at the construction site," Larry answered.
"Working? What? Come over now!" Daniel's voice rose. "That useless Noah is causing trouble, he wants me to kneel before a housekeeper and call the police on me!"
"What? He wants you to kneel down and call the police on you?!" Larry was shocked.
"Yes, come over quickly, did you hear me?"
"Okay, Daniel, don't worry, I'll come over right now!"
After hanging up the phone, Daniel called Lisa.
"Hey, Lisa."
"Dad, what's going on?" Lisa asked with confusion.
"Come over quickly, that useless husband of yours wants me to kneel down and call the police on me!"
"What? Is this really happening?" Lisa's voice also changed. "I'll come back now."
After hanging up, Daniel looked smugly at Noah.
"Noah, you useless coward, you dare to call the police on me? Larry and Lisa will be here soon. Let's see what you'll do then!
"How dare you make your father-in-law kneel down and call the police to arrest him, there’s no way that could happen!"
Noah said calmly, "Even if they come, it won't change the outcome of you having to kneel down and apologize."
In less than an hour, Lisa, Sarah, and Larry arrived at Summit Retreat Oasis.
"Noah! You coward, get out here!"
"You dared to bully my dad? Come out and face me!"
They could hear the clamor even before they saw him.
Sarah stormed into the villa, her eyes scanning the room until they fell upon Noah.
"Noah, you’ve been married into the Wilson family for a year, and the Wilson family has provided you with everything. You've become ungrateful now that you live in this villa. You're nothing but an ingrate, you even dared to bully my father!"
Sarah pointed at Noah and cursed.
"Honey, what's going on exactly?" Lisa asked. "Did my dad do something to make you angry? Is that why you're treating him like this?"
Lisa knew Noah's temper. If they didn't cross a certain line, Noah was generally easygoing.
"Noah, you better explain what happened today," Larry said with a dark expression. "You dared to call the police to arrest Daniel and you’re trying to make him kneel down? Your actions have made me very angry. If you don't give me an explanation, I won't be nice to you."
Luna, who heard the commotion, came downstairs. She had just woken up and yawned, immediately taken aback when she saw the crowd in the living room.
"Why are there so many people here?"
Noah's expression remained unchanged as he explained the whole incident from beginning to end.
After listening, Lisa frowned.
"Dad, what you did was a bit excessive. Chloe didn't steal the bull horn, but you accused her of theft and made her kneel down. By doing so, you made Chloe lose all dignity and respect."
Lisa was dissatisfied with Daniel's actions.
"Daniel, do you even know what it means to respect others? Chloe might be a housekeeper, but you can't treat her like that!" Luna voiced her discontent as well.
"What's wrong with accusing her of theft? What's wrong with making her kneel down?" Sarah said coldly. "She's just a maid, a servant. What's the problem with making her kneel down? Even if Dad went too far, that coward Noah should not have threatened to call the police to arrest our dad!"
She then looked at Lisa and Luna.
"Lisa, Luna, we’re Dad's daughters, how can you side with that coward Noah at a time like this?"
"I'm not siding with my husband, I'm just standing on the side of reason," Lisa calmly stated.
"I feel the same way, Daniel. What you did was too much!" Luna exclaimed.
"Alright, let's not talk about it anymore."
Larry spoke up, "Daniel, you did cross the line. How about this? Apologize to Chloe and give her $500 as compensation, and we'll let this matter go. Of course, I'll cover the $500."
Daniel considered for a moment and nodded, "Alright, I’ll apologize and give her $500. Let's consider this matter finished for today."
As for Noah, Larry looked at him and said, "Noah, you can't do something like this to him and say those disrespectful words no matter how far Daniel went! Now, you should also apologize to Daniel and let go of the disrespect.
"What do you think of my proposal, Noah?" Larry asked.
