Chapter 57 Amusement Park
"Upper management can say whatever they want. Since you’re the overall manager, it’s up to you to decide!" Daniel smiled and said, "Besides, Larry is family and he has experience. If you outsource everything to him, you can still trust him, right? If we keep it a secret from upper management everything will be fine."
Lisa frowned. If she fully outsourced the project to Larry, she would be nothing more than a figurehead. Everything would be in Larry's hands.
"That's right, Lisa. We can make money from renovating that poor area!" Larry chuckled. "If you outsource the project to me, you'll definitely get your fair share."
"Exactly," Sarah chimed in immediately. "If you outsource the project to Larry, you can secretly save money and deceive me about not being able to afford to take the bus. I won't hold it against you, I'll just pretend I don't know."
"I really didn't save money secretly, that money..." Lisa started to speak.
Sarah interrupted her. "And when Larry makes money, I'll give our little villa to you so you can experience what it's like to live in a villa. But I won't cheapen it for that useless Noah. He doesn't deserve to live in a villa!"
"Noah? Let's stick to discussing work matters and not mention that useless person! He should just stay there and eat!" Daniel said with a cold face.
Lisa's face also turned cold when she heard that.
"Dad, Sarah, Larry, I want to say something to you now." Lisa's gaze turned icy, her voice devoid of emotion. "Noah is my husband, he is not useless, and I hope you all watch your words!"
"He’s not useless? How is he not useless? He just stays at home all day doing nothing," Sarah sneered.
Lisa continued, "Also, regardless of whether the top management at Capital High has said it or not, they will not work with Larry’s company.
"As the overall manager of the poor area renovation project, I am making it clear. Larry, don't even think about getting a share of the profits from this project. I'm putting my foot down on this. I don’t care if you say I'm selfish or if you say I don't care about my family!"

"You’re challenging your father for the sake of a useless bum like Noah?" Sarah sneered.
"If you don’t want to give it up, forget it. You’re acting as if Larry won’t have any other projects! You're just an accountant with no experience at all. We’ll see if this project will go smoothly in your hands!”
Larry shook his head, incredibly disappointed. This was a missed opportunity.
"Sigh!"
Daniel sighed deeply. "It's so frustrating. She challenged me for a useless person. You've really disappointed me, Lisa!"
Daniel knew that Lisa's attitude had changed so drastically because they had mentioned Noah.

"What do you think?" Noah asked with a smile.
"I was planning to outsource the project to Larry, after all, we're family, so we should help each other." Lisa said,
"But the things they said to you were so disrespectful it made me angry! Hmph, I don't care anymore. There's no way I'll give the slum redevelopment project to Larry!"
"I support your decision."
Noah gently stroked Lisa's hair. "If you put your heart into the slum project, there won't be any issues. And even if there are, you have your husband!"
"Mhmm!"
Lisa nodded. Although she didn't know why Noah was so confident, hearing his words gave her a sense of security.
And Everett had also told her today that he would fully cooperate with Lisa to complete the important task of slum redevelopment.
So, Lisa as confident she could do the job well!
"Honey, Evelyn invited me to the amusement park tomorrow. Shall we go together? It'll be a good opportunity to relax a bit, these past few days have been exhausting!" Lisa suddenly said, with a hopeful expression on her face like a little girl.
"Sure." Noah agreed and casually asked, "How are Evelyn and Joshua doing now?"
"They've gotten back together."

Noah and Lisa walked hand in hand, wearing sunglasses and matching white couple T-shirts and shorts.
"This Disneyland has also received funding from Noah Capital. Some of the executives here are from Noah Capital," Lisa remarked with deep emotion.

The sound of engines roaring echoed on the street.
The crowd immediately dispersed to the sides as two red sports cars sped by.

The crowd pointed and chattered excitedly, some even took out their phones to take pictures.
The two cars came to a stop, and Joshua and Evelyn got out of their respective cars.
Joshua had an Armani T-shirt, slicked-back hair, gold-rimmed sunglasses, a pair of oversized Yeezy sneakers, and looked incredibly cool.
Evelyn, on the other hand, was dressed in a blue dress, with a nearly transparent white veil draped over it. Her long legs, slender waist, and dynamic figure were immediately on display.

Many men locked their gazes on Evelyn, taking out their phones to take pictures.
"He looks so handsome!"

The women aimed their phones at Joshua, snapping pictures one after another.
"Evelyn!" Lisa called out as soon as she saw her.
Joshua and Evelyn casually tossed their car keys to a valet and walked in their direction.
"So many people are here today, sigh!" Evelyn glanced at the people taking photos around her and seemed somewhat dissatisfied, but there was a glimmer of happiness in her eyes behind her sunglasses.
Who wouldn't enjoy being the center of attention?
"We have no choice, we're too high-profile." Joshua laughed. "A handsome guy and a beautiful girl got out of two sports cars. Of course people will want to take pictures. I actually enjoy being photographed!"
He then looked at Noah.
"Noah, have you ever experienced the feeling of being watched and envied, with people taking pictures of you? Let me tell you, it feels amazing!
