Chapter 339 Keeping Clementine
Watching Noah walk away, Liam was still shaking with fear. His hand trembled as he picked up his phone and asked, "Uncle Atticus, who is this Noah guy that you respect so much?"
"Liam, let me tell you something!" Atticus snapped, his face darkening. "Our Moore family is one of the top three families in the eastern Eagleland, and you live a life of luxury all because of the Anderson family, and Noah Anderson is one of their heirs!"
"If it weren't for the Anderson family, you would be nothing!"
Liam's eyes widened in shock. He hadn't realized Noah's family was so powerful.
"Mr. Anderson just said that because you bear the Moore name, he spared your life. I hope you remember today's lesson. If you ever dare to offend Mr. Anderson again, I won't wait for him to act; I'll deal with you myself!" Atticus said fiercely. "I won't let you endanger the Moore family. Do you understand?"
"Yes, yes, Uncle Atticus, I understand! I will never offend Noah... I mean, Mr. Anderson, again!" Liam nodded vigorously, not daring to disobey.
At the Hilton Hotel, Noah returned to the presidential suite.
Clementine, who was live streaming, saw Noah enter with bloodstains on his clothes and his cheeks red and swollen. She quickly walked over. "Mr. Anderson, what happened to you?"
"I had a bit of a run-in with someone," Noah said, gently touching his left cheek, which stung painfully. "Can you get me some ice from the fridge?"
"Sure!" Clementine immediately fetched an ice pack for Noah. The cold pack pressed against his face made his bones ache, and he couldn't help but grimace.
Clementine, watching from the side, felt a pang of sympathy. "Mr. Anderson, who did you get into a fight with? Why would anyone mess with you?"
"Liam," Noah replied calmly.
"The Liam from the Moore family?" Clementine was shocked.
"Yeah." Noah nodded.
Her eyes widened again. "Mr. Anderson, did Liam cause trouble because of that bidding over me? Should we move somewhere else to avoid him? After all, he's from the Moore family, and we can't afford to provoke them."
"Don't worry. I'm just a little banged up. Liam will probably be bedridden for the next five or six months," Noah said with a smile. "So there's no need to avoid him."
Hearing this, Clementine breathed a sigh of relief. Although she didn't know how Noah had dealt with Liam, his tone made it clear that he didn't take the matter seriously at all.
"By the way, how did the live stream go today?" Noah asked.
"Pretty well. In two hours, I received gifts worth about two million dollars. Facebook Live has been promoting me on various social media platforms, and many new viewers joined today," Clementine said with a smile.
"That's great." Noah nodded, estimating that Clementine's total gifts for the day might exceed four million dollars. "But there's a wealthy viewer with the ID 'TheManInTheWind' who tipped me five hundred thousand dollars today," Clementine said, frowning.
"Isn't it a good thing?" Noah smiled.
"The problem is, after tipping, he said he wanted to keep me as his mistress, offering me ten million dollars a year," Clementine said.
"Just block that idiot," Noah said, shaking his head. He knew these wealthy viewers often had ulterior motives, like wanting to hook up with influencers.
"I can't block him. I don't have the authority," Clementine said. "These big spenders can't be blocked by the streamers. And 'TheManInTheWind' said he found out my streaming IP is in Imperial State, and he's also here. He said he would track me down in real life."
"Mr. Anderson, if 'TheManInTheWind' really comes looking for me, will it be dangerous?" Clementine's eyes showed concern.
"Don't worry. Let him come. Remember, you have me behind you," Noah said with a reassuring smile.
Clementine nodded, feeling reassured by Noah's words, and went back to her live stream.
Noah opened Facebook and immediately contacted Nathan from Facebook Live, instructing him to ban 'TheManInTheWind' and block his account from accessing the app entirely. Then, he received and downloaded the files Atticus had sent about the major families in Silverlight City.
After reading the files for five minutes, Noah put down his phone. According to the information, Silverlight City had three major families: the Jennings family, the Pena family, and the Kidd family. These families were similar to the four major families in Oceanbridge City but were less powerful due to the dominance of the Harris family in Silverlight City. The three families were essentially subordinates to the Harris family, sharing in their benefits and losses.
'Yesterday at noon, the person who wanted to take the presidential suite from me was likely from the Jennings family,' Noah thought to himself, stroking his chin.
At 8 PM, a white GMC slowly pulled up and parked by the side of the road at the Serenity District highway exit. Noah was driving.
Shortly after he parked, a Buick minivan exited the highway. Seeing the van, Noah got out of his car, standing calmly with his hands behind his back, waiting.
The Buick minivan approached and stopped in front of him. The door opened, and four burly men stepped out, lining up in front of Noah.
Each man was tall, dressed in suits, and exuded a faint, chilling aura that made anyone who looked at them feel uneasy.
These four men were the elite of the elite from the Respect Noah Pavilion, sent by Ethan to assist Noah. "Mr. Anderson!" they called out in unison, their voices respectful. The man on the far left glanced at Noah and his pupils contracted sharply. 'It's him.'
The man remembered this young man. On the day of Ethan's succession ceremony, in the third reception hall, he had seen this young man skillfully subdue Bruce without a scratch.
He had wanted to recruit him into the Respect Noah Pavilion, but the young man had refused. At the time, the man thought the young man was being ungrateful. But now, he realized that the person Ethan had sent him to protect with his life was this very young man!
As he looked again, his shock deepened. Ethan had told him that the person they were to protect and obey was named Noah. 'Noah, Respect Noah Pavilion.' The man suddenly understood. The name of their organization had another meaning: Respect Noah, with Noah as their leader!
