Chapter 227: Are You a Scammer?

"Oh, I also left the charger cable on the backseat," Noah said nonchalantly.

Upon hearing this, Alexander's face turned slightly unpleasant, and he said coldly:

"Kid, stealing my car keys is one thing, but you also opened my car?"

All in all, Alexander wouldn't believe that this Mercedes belonged to Noah.

"Noah, you stole the car keys and shamelessly opened Alexander's car? If something is missing inside, you would be confirmed as a thief!" Isaiah's eyes showed disdain.

Noah shook his head helplessly. He really hadn't expected Alexander to have such audacity.

He took a step forward, opened the car door, and handed his driver's license to Alexander:

"Take a look for yourself and see whose car this really is."

Alexander took the driver's license and his face finally changed completely.

The owner listed on it was Noah!

"How is this possible? This Sprinter really belongs to this loser?" Alexander couldn't believe it, his hands trembling slightly as he held the driver's license.

"This car is worth over a million. Can it really be this loser's?" Isaiah took the driver's license and his mouth dropped open in shock, staring at Noah in disbelief.

"Noah, this Sprinter is yours?"

"The driver's license is right in the car. Can a driver's license be fake?" Noah rolled his eyes and said nonchalantly.

Faced with the undeniable truth, Isaiah had to admit that this Sprinter indeed belonged to Noah.
"Alexander, you just said that this car is yours? Why did you lie to me?" Isaiah looked at Alexander, somewhat angry.

Alexander's gaze shifted, and he quickly explained, "Isaiah, I actually have a Sprinter, maybe my secretary didn't bring it here, and coincidentally there's another one parked here, so I made a mistake!"

Isaiah nodded, feeling that there was some truth to it. Alexander might have really made a mistake.

"A mistake?" Noah sneered, "You can even mistake your own car. Well, since you made a mistake, then bring your Sprinter here."

"Alexander, have your secretary bring the car here to humble Noah's arrogance," Isaiah immediately said, "Not only do you have a Sprinter, but also a Land Rover! Quickly have your secretary bring it over!"

"I... I..." This time, Alexander didn't know what to say.

He definitely didn't have a Sprinter.

And he certainly couldn't have a Land Rover.

He was just pretending to be a top executive of an American company to deceive Isaiah.

"Alexander, why haven't you made the call yet?" Isaiah urged, because Noah's smug look was making her very annoyed.

"Well, my Sprinter has been borrowed by my friend, so it seems like it won't be available for a while," Alexander scratched his head.

"What about the Land Rover? The Land Rover could work too, it's a high-end car after all," Isaiah asked again.

"The Land Rover has also been borrowed by my friend," Alexander forced a smile, looking slightly embarrassed.

"Borrowed?" Isaiah was taken aback, shaking her head with disappointment, "That's such a pity, I wanted to humble Noah's arrogance. It seems like it won't be possible."

But seeing that Isaiah didn't suspect anything, Alexander secretly breathed a sigh of relief, "Isaiah, if we want to humble him, we can do it next time. After all, this guy is selling barbecue here and can't run away. When the time comes, let's bring both cars and show him who's boss!"

"Now what we need to do is enjoy a good meal and then find a room to sleep," Alexander said.

Upon hearing this, Isaiah blushed slightly, "Alexander, you're so naughty!" She raised her fist and playfully hit Alexander.

Alexander laughed heartily, thinking that things were basically settled for tonight.

"Ah, it's truly pitiful to be so gullible and not even know when we're being deceived," Noah suddenly sighed and spoke in a leisurely manner.
"Noah, what do you mean?" Isaiah questioned, feeling like Noah was addressing her.

"What do you think it means? Figure it out yourself," Noah replied, casting a meaningful glance at Alexander.

Alexander shivered as he felt Noah's penetrating gaze, as if Noah was seeing through him.

Noah had said his piece, and whether Isaiah could comprehend it or not was up to her.

Isaiah's eyes flickered with uncertainty. Though she could be naive at times, she wasn't particularly foolish.

Currently, their family's supermarket industry was facing financial difficulties and needed a large amount of capital infusion to revive it.

At a business exchange event, she had met Alexander.

Alexander was the owner of a top 500 company in Eagleland, with assets worth millions, numerous villas, luxury cars, and a reputation for generosity.

Upon learning about the financial troubles her family's business was going through, Alexander immediately offered to help with the infusion of funds, but on one condition – that Isaiah become his girlfriend.

Despite Alexander being a bit older, the allure of his wealth was hard to resist, so in the end, Isaiah didn't think much and agreed.

But now, after Noah's hint, she carefully reconsidered. Something seemed off about Alexander.

For example, whenever they went somewhere, they always took a taxi because Alexander claimed his cars were being used by his employees for business purposes.

When they dined out, they only went to top-notch restaurants, even Michelin-starred ones, but it was Isaiah who footed the bill.

With limited funds, she could only rely on her credit card.

When Isaiah asked Alexander for money, he claimed that all his funds were tied up in his company's accounts and could only be withdrawn in a month's time.

Isaiah believed it all, as she had seen documents regarding Alexander's villas, car keys, and screenshots of his bank account assets.

In her eyes, Alexander was a wealthy tycoon, and it seemed normal for him to face cash flow issues.

But now, with a skeptical mindset, everything suddenly felt off.

"Alexander, bring your Sprinter here and let me take a look!" Isaiah said with a smile, her expression suddenly turning cold.

"Isaiah, didn't I just say? My friend borrowed the Sprinter, so I can't bring it," Alexander forced a smile, sensing something ominous.

"Borrowed? They also borrowed the Land Rover, and now the Sprinter? These past few days, I've been paying for our meals and transportation," Isaiah pointed out, her tone filled with suspicion.
Isaiah's face turned completely cold. "Alexander, as the owner of a company, you must at least have money for meals and taxi fares, right? Tell me, are you really a scammer?"

"Isaiah, how could I be a scammer? You saw the property certificates and the keys to the luxury cars!" Alexander explained.

"Besides, my money is indeed tied up in the company's accounts. You will see it in one month! Trust me!"

"Trust you? Trust you? I must be a fool, Isaiah!" Isaiah sneered. "If you're not a scammer, then within thirty minutes, bring the Sprinter and the Range Rover over. If you lent the cars to your friend, can't you get them back?"

"I..."

This time, Alexander's face turned ugly and he couldn't say a word in his defense.

Where could he find a Range Rover and a Sprinter?

"You said it yourself, are you a scammer or not?" Isaiah shouted coldly. "If you don't admit it, I will call the police right now and report you for scamming me and deceiving my feelings!"

Cold sweat instantly appeared on Alexander's forehead. If Isaiah called the police, he would be done for!

If it were only Isaiah reporting him, he wouldn't be afraid because he had only been freeloading and hadn't spent much money these days.

But before this, he had used the same method to deceive many women.

And now, he was still on the wanted list by the police.
