Chapter 227 Are You a Fraud?

"Besides, I left my charger in the back seat," Noah said casually.

Alexander's face darkened, "You broke loser, you not only took my car keys, but you also actually opened my car?"

Alexander couldn't believe this Mercedes belonged to Noah.

"Noah, you stole the car key and opened Mr. Johnson's car? If anything's missing, you'll be charged with theft!" Isaiah added, her eyes filled with disdain.

Noah shook his head in frustration. He hadn't expected Alexander to be so shameless.

He stepped forward, opened the car door, and handed the car's documents to Alexander. "Take a look for yourself. Whose car is this?"

Alexander took the documents, and his face changed dramatically. The owner listed was indeed Noah!

"How... how is this possible? This Mercedes... it really belongs to you?" Alexander stammered, his hand trembling slightly as he held the documents. "This car is worth over a million dollars!"

Isaiah took the documents, her mouth dropping open in shock. She looked at Noah in disbelief. "Noah, this Mercedes is yours?"

"The documents are right here in the car. How could it not be mine?" Noah rolled his eyes and replied calmly.

Faced with the undeniable truth, Isaiah had to admit that the Mercedes belonged to Noah.

"Mr. Johnson, is this car supposed to be yours? Why did you lie to me?" Isaiah turned to Alexander, clearly upset.

Alexander's eyes darted around as he quickly tried to explain. "Isaiah, I do have a Mercedes, but my secretary must not have brought it over. I must have mistaken this one for mine."

Isaiah nodded, thinking it made some sense. Maybe Alexander really had made a mistake.

"Mistaken?" Noah scoffed, "You can't even recognize your own car? Fine, if you made a mistake, then bring your own Mercedes over."

"Mr. Johnson, have your secretary bring your car over and show Noah who's really wealthy," Isaiah urged, "It's just a car, but he acts so arrogantly! Mr. Johnson, you not only have a Mercedes but also a Range Rover. Have your secretary bring it over!"

This time, Alexander was at a loss for words. He didn't have a Mercedes, and he certainly didn't have a Range Rover. He was just pretending to be rich to impress Isaiah.

"Mr. Johnson, why aren't you making the call?" Isaiah pressed, annoyed by Noah's smug expression.

"Well, my Mercedes is with a friend, and he can't bring it over right now," Alexander scratched his head.

"What about the Range Rover? That's a high-end car too," Isaiah suggested.

"Same old, it is also with a friend," Alexander forced a smile, looking a bit embarrassed.

"With a friend?" Isaiah was taken aback. She shook her head, clearly disappointed. "That's too bad. I wanted humiliate this poor guy, but it looks like I can't."

Seeing that Isaiah didn't suspect anything, Alexander secretly breathed a sigh of relief. "Isaiah, we'll teach him a lesson next time. This broke loser isn't going anywhere. We'll bring both cars and show him who's really wealthy!"

"For now, let's just enjoy a nice meal and then get a room for the night," Alexander said with a leer.

Isaiah blushed slightly as her weak fists landed on Alexander's chest. "Mr. Johnson, you're so bad!"

Alexander laughed heartily, thinking he was in for a great night.

Noah sighed softly, shaking his head. "How naive and pitiful. You don't even know you're being deceived. In the end, you'll lose everything."

Isaiah was startled, feeling like his words were directed at her. "Damn it, what do you mean that?"

"Figure it out yourself," Noah replied, giving Alexander a meaningful look.

That look made Alexander shiver, feeling like Noah could see right through him.

Noah had said his piece. Whether Isaiah understood was up to her.

Isaiah's eyes flickered with realization. She wasn't completely naive. Her family's supermarket business was struggling and needed a large cash injection to stay afloat. She had met Alexander at a business event. He claimed to be a wealthy businessman with millions in assets, numerous properties, and luxury cars. He had promised to help her financially if she became his girlfriend. Despite their age gap, Isaiah agreed because of his supposed wealth.

But now, after Noah's hint, she started to consider differently. In the few days they had known each other, they had always taken taxis. Alexander claimed his cars were being used by his employees. They dined at top restaurants, but she always paid, using her credit card because she had little cash. Alexander said his money was tied up in business accounts and would be available in a month. She had believed him because she had seen property deeds, car keys, and bank statements.

But now, with a skeptical mind, everything seemed off.

"Alexander, bring your Mercedes over, I want to see it," Isaiah said with a smile, though her expression had turned cold.

"Isaiah, I told you, I lended it to my friend," Alexander forced a smile, feeling a sense of dread.

"You lended it? Both the Range Rover and the Mercedes? I've been paying for everything these past few days," Isaiah's face turned icy. "Mr. Johnson, you're a company boss. You can't be so broke you can't pay for meals and taxis. Tell me, are you a fraud?"

"Isaiah, how could I be a fraud? You've seen my property deeds and car keys!" Alexander tried to explain, "My money is in business accounts. You'll see it in a month. Trust me!"

"Trust you? I'd be an idiot to trust you!" Isaiah scoffed, "If you're not a fraud, bring the Mercedes and the Range Rover here within thirty minutes. Can't you get them back from your friends?"

Alexander's face turned grim. He had no way to fullfill this demand.

"Let me know, are you a fraud?" Isaiah demanded, "If you don't admit, I'll call the police and report you for scamming me and deceiving my feelings!"

Sweat broke out on Alexander's forehead. If Isaiah really called the police, he was done for. Besides; he had scammed many women using the same tactics and was already wanted by the police.
