Chapter 234 Meeting Amelia Again

Half an hour later, a few more trucks rolled in. These were Jack's guys.

Each of them was armed with steel pipes and iron rods, a far cry from the people Ethan had brought along.

Now, the total number of people was close to two hundred.

Noah couldn't believe that with so many people, they couldn't take down Lucas.

Noah started his car and headed towards the Starry Nights Karaoke, with dozens of cars following behind.

"Mr. Anderson, please be careful!" Grace watched the convoy drive away, worry evident in her eyes.

She knew that what Noah was about to do was significant, which could even impact the entire city of Oceanbridge. She was just a small player in this, unable to help in any meaningful way, and could only hope for Noah's safe return.

Half an hour later, the convoy was about a mile away from Starry Nights Karaoke.

Noah stopped his car, and the vans behind him also came to a halt one by one.

"Mr. Anderson, any orders?" Ethan looked at Noah.

"From now on, everyone gets out and advances on foot, spread out to avoid alerting them." Noah began to explain the plan.

After he finished, he turned to Jack. "When we get to Starry Nights Karaoke, have your men guard all the exits to prevent anyone from escaping."

"Got it!" Jack's eyes lit up, and he nodded immediately.

"Everyone, get out and spread out!" Ethan instructed his men.

After getting out of the cars, Noah led the way, with Ethan and two other guys following closely to protect him in case of any unexpected events.

When Noah was about 300 feet away, the others began to spread out, following behind like regular pedestrians.

Ten minutes later, Noah and his group arrived at the Starry Nights Karaoke.

The place was lavishly decorated, with a huge chandelier illuminating the entire lobby. From the private rooms, the sound of singing could be heard.

"How many of you, sir?" A pretty waitress in a professional outfit and black stockings approached with a smile.

"Four," Noah said briefly.

"For four, that would be a medium room," the waitress said, "588 dollars an hour, which includes two cases of beer, some snacks, and a fruit platter. How many hours would you like?"

"Let's start with three hours," Noah replied.

"Alright, this way, please!" The waitress led Noah and his group to a private room.

After setting up the microphones, the waitress asked, "Would you like to call some hostesses? 400 dollars each."

"Sure, bring some here," Noah nodded. It would be odd for a group of men to come to a karaoke place and not call for hostesses.

"Alright, I'll arrange that," the waitress replied with a smile.

The waitress left, and soon the door opened again. A dozen beautiful women walked in and lined up.

These women were all quite attractive, with long flowing hair. Some were petite and cute, others tall and slender, and some were voluptuous and mature. They were all dressed skimpily, showing off their legs and cleavage, making Ethan and the others gulp.

"Good evening, gentlemen!" The women bowed and greeted in unison.

"Sir, pick anyone you like," the waitress said with a smile.

"Mr. Anderson, can I call for a few more?" Ethan asked, his eyes fixed on the line of women. He hadn't expected the hostesses at Starry Nights Karaoke to be of such high quality.

The two guys who came along were also looking at Noah expectantly, hoping for the same.

"Go ahead," Noah nodded. He could grant this small request.

"I'll take... ugh... that one, that one, and that one!" Ethan pointed out three hostesses.

The two guys also picked two each.

The next moment, the hostesses walked over and sat beside Ethan, with one even sitting on his lap, her fair arm wrapped around his neck.

"Sir, aren't you picking anyone?" The waitress looked at Noah, a bit surprised since he hadn't moved or shown any interest in picking a hostess.

'Maybe he didn't bring enough money,' the waitress thought to herself. 'The room and the hostesses together cost nearly five thousand dollars.'

Noah indeed had no intention of picking a hostess. Ethan and the others could have their fun.

Just as Noah was about to tell the waitress to send the remaining hostesses away, he noticed one of them standing on the far left looked familiar.

That hostess had her hair tied up in a bun. She was about 5'5", wearing black stockings, with a curvy figure. Her pretty face suddenly reminded Noah of where he had seen her before.

"Amelia?"

It was Amelia who had been a sales associate at the Tiffany store the day his family's restrictions were lifted.

If it weren't for Noah's remarkable memory, he might not have recognized her.

Wasn't she working at Tiffany's? How did she end up as a hostess at Starry Nights Karaoke?

Noah was surprised and pointed at Amelia. "I'll take her."

"Alright!" The waitress nodded.

Amelia immediately walked over and sat next to Noah, her hips pressed against him, a faint fragrance wafting to his nose.

"Enjoy your evening, gentlemen!" The waitress left with the remaining hostesses.

By now, Ethan was already playing dice games with the hostesses he had picked.

"Sir, let's play dice. Loser drinks," Amelia said with a playful smile, picking up some dice from the table. Like the other hostesses, she wrapped an arm around Noah's neck, very close.

"Don't you recognize me?" Noah glanced at her.

"You know me?" Amelia was taken aback. The next moment, her face changed, and she gasped in shock. "You... you're Mr. Anderson!"

It was Noah Anderson who had spent half a million dollars on jewelry at Tiffany's that day.

More importantly, Noah had used a Citibank Black Card!

That card had a credit limit of a hundred million dollars and was held by people who could stop trains and ground planes!

Someone who could hold such a card was definitely among the top echelons of Eagleland, a world far removed from Amelia's.

Amelia never expected to run into Noah here.

"Seems like I haven't been forgotten," Noah smiled faintly.

"Mr. Anderson, given your status, how could I forget you?" Amelia shook her head, her cool hand resting on Noah's chest, gently caressing him. "Mr. Anderson, this is fate. I'll make sure you have a great time tonight."

"That's not necessary. I'm just curious how you ended up working here," Noah asked, puzzled. "Isn't working at Tiffany's, a world-class luxury brand, good enough?"

"Mr. Anderson, do you think I wanted to come here? It's all about the money," Amelia sighed, "You're wealthy, so you can't understand how tough life is for ordinary people like me."
