Chapter 92 Teach Me
Noah smiled, his lips curling upward as he took a step forward.
"It's that kid!" someone said.
"Hurry, surround him!"
Suddenly, a voice came from behind.
Several men in suits and sunglasses, all with fierce expressions on their faces, ran toward Noah.
A woman was leading them. She was wearing a dress and had wavy hair. She was the woman who had been sitting in the passenger seat of the young man's car earlier.
"He's the one who injured Julius! Get him!" she shouted, pointing at Noah.
The group of men surrounded Noah in no time.
"You must not be afraid of death, kid. How dare you attack Julius!" one of the men clenched his fist, glaring at Noah.
"Kid, you were so arrogant just now. I want to see how arrogant you’ll be now!" The woman mocked Noah.
Noah's expression remained unchanged as he smiled faintly.
"I really am not afraid of death. Can you teach me?" he asked.
"You're asking for trouble, kid!" The angry man raised his fist, preparing to attack.
"What's going on here?!"
Suddenly, a voice sounded.
The voice was old, yet still full of vigor.
The group turned around and their expressions instantly turned respectful. They immediately lowered their heads.
"Donovan!"
The one who had spoken was an elderly man who had been taking a walk.
He walked with his hands behind his back and looked at the group of men.
Finally, his gaze fell on Noah, and he asked, "What's going on? Why are you causing trouble for this young man?"
"Donovan, you don't know the whole story!" one of the men immediately said. "This kid injured Julius! He even forced Julius to apologize to a security guard!"
"Yes, Donovan! Julius' face is swollen and bleeding from seven different places!" the woman added.
"What? Is that true?!"
The old man's face changed slightly as he looked at Noah. "Boy, what did you do to my grandson? Did you hit him? If you don't give me a satisfactory answer, be prepared to spend the rest of your life paralyzed in bed."
A triumphant look appeared in the woman's eyes. Ha! Offending Julius was one thing, but Donovan finding out about this was another.
Ther loser on the bicycle was definitely regretting his actions.
Noah remained expressionless and looked at the old man calmly. "Donovan, Your education is very unsuccessful, can't I help you educate him?"
"Don't spout nonsense and disrespect Donovan, kid!"
A big man immediately sternly warned, "Watch your words!"
"Donovan, do you want me to shut him up?" another big man said coldly, his gaze icy as he looked at Noah.
If Donovan gave the order, he would take action.
The old man frowned, a chill emanating from his body as he looked at Noah. "Young man, didn’t your parents teach you to respect the elderly? How can you speak to me like this?"
"What's wrong? Are you angry because I called you Donovan?" Noah's mouth twitched, a playful smile on his face.
"In this world, there's only one person who can call me Donovan!"
The old man spoke, but suddenly stopped. He sized Noah up, his pupils contracting suddenly. The young man in front of him faintly resembled the child from his memories.
"You... you’re Noah!"
The old man’s eyes widened, his mouth hanging open, his face full of disbelief.
"It's me, Donovan. You're getting old, but your memory hasn't deteriorated." Noah's smile faded.
Donovan was shocked. He had never expected to encounter Noah here.
"Noah, I have grown old and my eyesight isn’t as good as it used to be. I didn't recognize you at first, I hope you can forgive me!" Donovan lowered his head and spoke with a trembling voice.
What was going on?
The four or five big men and the woman around them all looked dazed and dumbfounded.
Had Donovan actually lowered his head to a young kid?
It wasn’t a mistake, right?
Someone rubbed their eyes in disbelief.
Who was Donovan? Ten years ago, he was one of the top ten wealthy individuals on the list of Eagleland’s richest people. The population of Eagleland was over a billion people at the time.
Besides those invisible wealthy individuals who didn't make the list, Donovan was definitely at the top since he was in the top ten.
Even now, Donovan was still ranked around fiftieth on the rich list and held assets of nearly a hundred billion.
His connections spread far and wide, from top-level government officials to ordinary workers. They were all likely have some relationship with him.
His status was also supreme, he was the topmost figure in Eagleland.
But this man had actually lowered his head to a young boy.
Why... why was this happening?
It was difficult for everyone to understand, as their worldview was being strongly challenged.
"Don’t worry, it's been ten years since we last saw each other. It's quite impressive that you can recognize me," Noah calmly said, waving his hand,.
Donovan breathed a sigh of relief, feeling as if he had received a pardon.
"I didn't expect you to live in Golden Summit Peak, it's a good place for retirement. You have good taste," Noah said casually as he looked around.
"Noah, I wouldn't be living such a peaceful life if Larry hadn’t helped during the financial crisis ten years ago. I might have succumbed to the pressure and jumped off a building," Donovan sighed lightly.
"Otherwise, how could I have what I have today? By the way, Noah, do you live in Golden Summit Peak too?"
Noah nodded. "In that villa over there."
Noah pointed to his villa.
"Wow, just as I expected, you live in the best one. That villa is in the best location in Golden Summit Peak. A mysterious billionaire bought it for 87 million dollars. I assume that mysterious billionaire has something to do with you," Donovan said.
Noah nodded, not hiding the truth.
The crowd, especially the woman, was dumbfounded.
Her jaw dropped. That expensive villa belonged to this young boy?
It cost 87 million dollars!
The young boy seemed to be terrifyingly wealthy even though he was wearing clothes that didn't exceed 200 dollars and rode a rusty bicycle!
But thinking about it, even Donovan had to lower his head in front of him. Could the identity of this young boy be that simple?
'But he's too much. Why didn't he drive over here instead of riding a bicycle?'
"When I passed by the villa, it seemed the renovation was almost done. Noah, you must inform me and send me a invitation when the time comes for the housewarming party. I will prepare a small gift," Donovan said again.
"Don't worry, I will notify you," Noah smiled.
At this moment, there was suddenly a commotion at the entrance of the villa.
Noah looked over and saw seven or eight big guys surrounding the entrance.
"What's going on?" Donovan asked, frowning.
"Donovan, that kid... uh, I mean, Noah, just injured Julius. Julius split us into two groups," the woman spoke up.
"I was supposed to lead my people to Noah, while he would lead his people to teach the security guard at the entrance a lesson. He said he’ll break the guard's legs," she continued.
"Nonsense!"
Donovan was so angry that he stomped his feet. "That Julius is really arrogant and tyrannical. He actually sent people to trouble Noah. If Noah gets injured, I can never make up for it even if I die!
"It's all my fault for indulging him! And I can’t believe the future successor of the Myers Family is actually arguing with a security guard. If this gets out, he’ll embarrass our family!"
"What do you make of this, Noah?" Donovan looked at Noah.
"Let's go and take a look first," Noah said expressionlessly.
