Chapter 276: First Broadcast

"Yes! This way, we can also report back to the higher-ups." Zack smiled broadly.

"And I believe the greatest gain from this trip is not just the renewed sponsorship of 'I Am a Tycoon,' but discovering Noah's true identity!"

"Exactly, I feel the same way!"

Norman nodded. "So we must seize the opportunity and solidify our relationship with Noah before the other three major families realize his identity, to benefit the Anthony Family!"

"Indeed!"

As they spoke, they reached the roadside.

"Hmm?"

Zack looked over and immediately frowned.

There was a woman sitting on the hood of his Maserati Queen. Her face was covered in acne scars, and she had a thick waist. It was the same woman who had been staring at him earlier.

The woman was, of course, Jasmine.

"What are you doing on my car?"

Zack looked at Jasmine coldly.

If she weren't a woman, Zack would have already taken action.

"What am I doing? I'm waiting for you!"

Jasmine tucked her hair behind her ear and gave Zack a flirtatious look, thinking she was being seductive.

"Owner of the Rolls Royce, I'm the streamer you subscribed to last night! You like me, don't you? So I've been waiting here for you!"

After saying this, Jasmine winked at Zack.

Zack felt a wave of nausea, almost vomiting his breakfast.

His face turned cold instantly.

"Where did this crazy woman come from? Get lost!"

He reached out, grabbed Jasmine by the collar, and threw her to the ground.

"Trying to flirt with me? Look in the mirror first!"

After throwing Jasmine to the ground, they got into the car.

Roar...

The Maserati Queen roared away, leaving a cloud of dust that settled on Jasmine's face and in her mouth and nose.

"Cough, cough, cough... Owner of the Rolls Royce, why are you so rude to me?"

Jasmine rubbed her backside, grimacing in pain. She kept coughing as she watched the car drive away, tears welling up in her eyes.

...

Shark Live Company.

"Noah, I need to report something to you."

After Zack and Norman left, Nathan spoke.

"Tonight at eight, the 'I Am a Tycoon' show will air on Oceanbridge City Satellite TV. We've done a lot of promotional activities before the broadcast, not only in Oceanbridge City but even throughout Starlight City."

"Previously, the show conducted a survey, randomly selecting one hundred people to see if they were interested in watching 'I Am a Tycoon.' Seventy percent expressed interest."

"The show estimates that 'I Am a Tycoon' will achieve a viewership rating of about 4.24% in its time slot."

"4.24%!"

Noah's eyelid twitched slightly. That viewership rating was very high.

It meant that out of every hundred people watching TV simultaneously across Eagleland, four would be watching 'I Am a Tycoon'!

This figure was nearly double that of Running Man.

If he remembered correctly, the highest viewership rating for the popular Eagleland variety show Running Man was around 2.3%.

Another variety show, Saturday Night Live, had a viewership rating of about 1.5%.

Although these ratings seemed small, they were actually very high.

Most Eagleland shows had viewership ratings below 1%.

A rating of around 0.1% could place a show in the top fifty.

A rating of 4.24% was exceptionally high.

"With such high ratings, the revenue from 'I Am a Tycoon' should be no less than two billion!" Noah smacked his lips.

Nathan nodded. "Yes, but that's just an estimate. I think the actual viewership rating might be around three percent, which is still very high."

"And the first episode airing tonight features Larry. The video has already been recorded."

After saying this, Nathan looked at Noah.

He had read Sofia's records, which included Noah.

According to Gerald's notes, Noah was a son-in-law who cared too much about face and was very rebellious.

Putting that aside, the show was bound to be very exciting.

Winning ten million, buying a villa, and a luxury car, while putting a lazy son-in-law in his place—this was very relatable.

The audience wasn't just young people; people of all ages would enjoy it.

"Noah, should we air Larry's episode or not?" Nathan asked tentatively.

"If we air it, it might affect your reputation. If the show becomes popular, everyone in Eagleland will know about you."

"If we don't air it, I'll notify the production team to broadcast another episode instead."

"Reputation? I don't care about that. Our goal is to make Shark Live a Nasdaq-listed company within a year."

Noah smiled. "Besides, I have a clear conscience. Why should I care about others' gossip? If the show becomes popular, it will earn me money and increase Shark Live's fame—a win-win. So why not air it?"

"Noah, what a generous spirit!"

Nathan praised. "Then tonight, 'I Am a Tycoon' will air on Oceanbridge City Satellite TV, starting with Larry's episode."

Noah nodded, chatted a bit more, and then went home.

On the way, he noticed many 'I Am a Tycoon' promotional ads at bus stops.

"If you were given ten million, what would you do?"

"How does it feel to suddenly have ten million?"

"'I Am a Tycoon'—experience the life of a tycoon!"

Various slogans were everywhere, with some ads even featuring Larry's photo!

"It seems the production team is very satisfied with Larry's episode, which is why they chose it for the premiere and promoted it so heavily."

Noah looked away, not thinking much more about it.

...

At 7:50 PM, Noah sat on the sofa, tuned in to Oceanbridge City Satellite TV, and waited for the premiere of 'I Am a Tycoon.'

This scene was happening in many households across Eagleland.

In a regular apartment in Pinecrest, Starlight City.

"I heard this variety show gives someone ten million and turns an ordinary person into a wealthy one." An old lady fanned herself with a banana leaf fan, smiling at the TV.

"I'm not interested in money, being this old. But the first episode seems to be about the grievances between a live-in son-in-law. I like watching family dramas; it should be interesting!"

...

In a dimly lit rental room, a young man watched the TV expectantly.

"Ten million... If I had ten million, that would be amazing. Luxury cars, villas, beautiful women, I'd have it all."

...

In a factory dormitory, a girl was also waiting for 'I Am a Tycoon' to start.

"If they chose me and gave me ten million, the first thing I'd do is buy lots of makeup—Dior, Chanel, Estée Lauder..."
