Chapter 58 Max

"I'm not interested in that," Noah said calmly.

"You’re not interested? Noah, are you even a man? You're not interested in a luxury car like a Lamborghini?" Joshua raised his voice. "This car is much more expensive than your Mercedes!"

"Don't say that, Joshua," Evelyn interjected. "Your Lamborghini costs over four million. Noah could never earn that much money in his lifetime. If he gets addicted to driving your car, but can only afford a Mercedes, it would be really difficult for him!"

"That kind of makes sense." Joshua nodded. "Alright, I won't let you drive it. You'll probably never get to experience the feeling of being photographed and followed, and who knows if you even know how to drive a sports car!"

He continued, "Evelyn, if we’re photographed by all these people, we'll definitely end up on the internet. We might even become internet celebrities like the owner of that Rolls-Royce!"

"Forget it." Evelyn rolled her eyes. "How can we compare ourselves to the owner of the Rolls-Royce? He’s not just rich, he also has talent and can play the guitar! He has millions of fans!"

"What else do you have besides money, Joshua? You can't compare yourself to the owner of the Rolls-Royce!"

"Haha, Evelyn, I love it when you compliment me!" Joshua laughed. "I really don't know what other qualities I have other than money."

Rumble...

As soon as he finished speaking, they heard the sound of an engine.

The crowd instantly erupted.

"Oh damn, it's a Rolls-Royce!" Someone shouted.

A royal blue Rolls-Royce Phantom drove over, with a solid and majestic presence.

"Could it be the owner of the Rolls-Royce?"

Someone immediately took out their phone and couldn't wait to take pictures.

"It's not the owner of the Rolls-Royce. The owner's license plate is A99999, but this car has a regular license plate!"

"But it's still impressive, after all, it's a Rolls-Royce!"

"This is even more impressive than those two Lamborghinis earlier!"

People started taking pictures.

"Why is he here?"

Joshua furrowed his brows when he saw the license plate. He felt like his thunder had been stolen.

"Joshua, do you know the person in the car?" Evelyn asked curiously.

"I do. His name is Max, he’s a real estate tycoon in Oceanbridge City. He’s on a similar level to my dad and very wealthy," Joshua said.

"That guy spent sixteen million dollars on a villa at the Summit Retreat Oasis auction yesterday."

"Sixteen million?!" Evelyn's mouth dropped open. She was extremely shocked. "He’s truly a wealthy person!"

"Forget it, he's nothing compared to what real wealth looks like." Joshua rolled his eyes. "Yesterday, a mysterious millionaire bought the best villa at Golden Summit Peak for seventy-eight million! Max doesn't deserve to be compared to that mysterious millionaire!"

"Seventy-eight million?!" Evelyn was dumbfounded and startled by that number.

"He’s at an amusement park at his age, he’s just like a child," Joshua sneered.

At this moment, the car door opened and a middle-aged man, who was almost bald, stepped out of the car.

"It’s not the owner of the Rolls-Royce!"

"How disappointing!"

"I thought I would see the owner of the Rolls-Royce again!”

Sighs could be heard from the crowd.

The middle-aged man, had a big belly and casually tossed the car keys to the valet.

In the passenger seat, a petite woman dressed in a cool outfit got out of the car and snuggled into Max's embrace.

"Max, look, the Ferris wheel! I really want to ride it!"

The woman pointed excitedly to the Ferris wheel not far away like a little girl.

"Of course, I brought you here to ride the Ferris wheel. You can do whatever you want!" Max smiled and placed his hand on the woman's body, leading her toward the entrance of the amusement park.

"Oh, Joshua?" Max spotted Joshua.

"Max!"

Although Joshua didn't really like Max, he smiled respectfully. "What's up, are you bringing your girl to the amusement park?"

Max's gaze landed on Evelyn. There was a hint of desire in his eyes.

"She looks pretty good. After you've had your fun, let me have a turn!"

Evelyn furrowed her brow.

"Uh, Max, she's not my mistress, she's my girlfriend," Joshua awkwardly explained.

"Hehe, don't lie to me. You're just like your old man. I know all about your past flings." Max rolled his eyes.

"That's settled then, remember to give me a turn after you're done having fun!" Max said before he and the woman in his arms entered the amusement park.

"Why is Max so rude, Joshua ?" Evelyn was a bit angry.

"Just get used to it, that's just how he is. Don't take it to heart." Joshua smiled, but his gaze flickered with something peculiar, as if he was thinking about something.

The four of them bought tickets and entered the amusement park.

Noah and Lisa tried almost all the rides and attractions inside, including the bungee jump, the roller coaster, and the Ferris wheel...

From start to finish, Lisa was as happy as a little girl, and Noah was naturally in a good mood as well since he was at the amusement park with his wife.

"Noah, Noah I want to ride the merry-go-round!" Lisa pointed to the nearby merry-go-round, jumping up and down with excitement. "I've never ridden a merry-go-round before!"

"Lisa, come on, there are two seats available!" Evelyn shouted from the other end. She and Joshua had already gotten on. "Let's go, hurry up and grab the seats!" Lisa grabbed Noah's hand and hopped over. As she was about to sit down, they heard a voice. "Move! I have my eye on those two seats!" Someone pushed Lisa aside and she nearly fell to the ground.

"Huh?" Noah's gaze suddenly turned icy, and a chill radiated from him. He looked over and saw that the woman who had been in Max's embrace had pushed Lisa. At this moment, the woman had already stepped onto the merry-go-round without even glancing at Noah or Lisa. Max was also getting ready to take a seat.

"Get off!" Noah reached out and pulled the woman down. He was strong, so she fell to the ground.

"What's going on?" Max was surprised, he didn't think someone would dare to touch his woman.

"Are you looking for trouble, you punk?" Max immediately got off the merry-go-round and walked toward Noah, his round belly bumping against Noah provocatively.

Noah didn't flinch. His gaze was fixed on the woman as he expressionlessly said, "Apologize to my wife."

"Apologize? Why should I apologize?" The woman sneered. "We saw those seats first."

"You nearly pushed my wife over. Of course I want an apology" Noah said coldly.

"Forget it, let's go somewhere else." Lisa tugged at Noah nervously. She had just seen Max arrive in a Rolls-Royce. It was not a good idea to mess with such a wealthy and powerful person.

"Max, he’s picking on me! Waaah!" The woman sat down on the ground with trembling legs, pointing at Noah and crying pitifully.

"Are you tired of living, kid? How dare you bully my woman!" Max glared at Noah, tightening his fist with a cracking sound, ready to attack at any moment.
