Chapter 389 Bowing

Aurelia raised her glass, her eyes blazing with determination. 'Mr. Anderson's paying me big bucks to get Evergreen Market on the stock exchange within a year. This drink is a must!' She tossed back the drink in one swift motion.

The liquor burned its way down, igniting a fire inside her. Her head spun, and she couldn't keep herself upright any longer, her body going limp as she started to fall.

Cameron sprang into action, catching her just in time. "Hey, Mr. Simmons, looks like you're the lucky guy tonight!" someone shouted.

"Yeah, congrats, Mr. Simmons, you've got the beauty in your arms!" another voice chimed in.

"Honestly, Aurelia's got something special. Most women these days are all about being cute, which is just boring," someone else added. "But she's different. She's a powerhouse, ambitious at work, tough on herself. Winning her over would be a real achievement!"

Cameron's crew watched with envy.

"Don't worry, once I'm done, you guys can have a turn!" Cameron laughed.

His words made his crew's eyes light up. Cameron, unable to suppress his long-held desire, reached for the buttons on Aurelia's shirt.

Before he could touch her, the door swung open. A young man stood there, his expression cold.

"Hey, kid, are you blind? Can't you see this isn't your room?" Cameron snapped, glaring at him.

Noah's gaze landed on Aurelia. Without a word, he stepped forward, grabbed her arm, and pulled her to him.

"What do you think you're doing?" Cameron's face turned icy.

"She's my employee. I should be asking you what you're doing," Noah replied, giving Cameron a sidelong glance. He'd seen enough of Cameron's actions toward Aurelia.

"So, you're Aurelia's boss?" Cameron looked at Noah, surprised that her boss was so young. But he smirked. "Aurelia wants to open a supermarket in Galaxy District, and that's obviously your idea."

"We're all businessmen here. Since you're here, how about we make a deal?" Cameron poured another drink and pushed it toward Noah. "You drink ten shots in front of me, and send Aurelia to my bed. I'll let you open your supermarket in Galaxy District. I might even introduce you to some real estate moguls to make things easier for you in Silverlight City."

"How about it? It's a pretty good deal for you," Cameron said, smiling at Noah. He was confident Noah would agree, given the lucrative offer.

"What if I don't agree?" Noah asked, his face expressionless.

"Don't agree?" Cameron was taken aback. "Are you stupid? This is a great deal, and you're turning it down?"

Cameron sneered, "Young folks, always so full of themselves. Bet you got your boss title thanks to your family's money. But with that attitude and zero people skills, you're going nowhere fast."

"You don't know how to ask for help or show respect. Just a cocky kid!" Cameron shook his head, eyeing Noah with disdain.

"If it's about drinking, fine," Noah replied. "I do want to open a supermarket, and you're the most straightforward way to do that."

"But don't expect me to send my employee to your bed."

"As for not knowing how to ask for help or show respect," Noah's lips curled into a smile, "how about this: you drink ten shots and bow. I'll pretend none of this happened."

"If you don't, I'll make sure your Celestial Peak Real Estate Company goes under and vanishes from Silverlight City."

"Vanish?" Cameron was stunned, thinking he misheard. Was this kid really threatening to bankrupt his company?

"Do all young people like you talk big?" Cameron laughed, clutching his stomach. "You think you can bankrupt Celestial Peak Real Estate Company? We control ten percent of Silverlight City's real estate market, worth over five billion dollars. What can you do?"

Cameron's crew laughed, mocking Noah. "Does he think he's from the Harris family and can bankrupt us?"

"Clueless!"

"He's killing me with laughter!"

The mockery reached Noah's ears, but his expression didn't change. "You have one minute to drink ten shots and bow. Otherwise, Celestial Peak Real Estate Company will go bankrupt."

"Still bluffing!" Cameron fumed. "With that attitude, you think I'll let you open Evergreen Market? Dream on!"

"Looks like you don't want to drink," Noah sighed. "I gave you a chance, but you didn't take it. Don't blame me later."

With that, he carried Aurelia out of the Radiant Pearl Hotel.

"That kid probably knows he can't open his store, so he's just talking big before leaving," one of Cameron's men scoffed.

"Either way, if he hadn't shown up, Aurelia would be in my bed by now," Cameron said darkly. "He ruined my fun. Make sure no developer or real estate owner we work with rents him any space for Evergreen Market. I want him to have nowhere to turn!"

Outside, Noah made a call. "Yes, Mr. Anderson, I understand. I'll head to Silverlight City tomorrow," a respectful voice replied on the other end.

After hanging up, Noah took Aurelia to the Hilton. She was completely out of it, her cheeks flushed, and her shirt unbuttoned, revealing some skin.

Noah smiled wryly, buttoned her shirt, and straightened her outfit.

Aurelia was truly a powerhouse. She must have known Cameron had ulterior motives, yet she still drank recklessly. If she'd called him earlier, this could have been avoided.
