Chapter 358 Silverlight City Grand Hotel
Noah knew Genevieve had a crush on him, but he never thought she'd be so forward, actually trying to seduce him.
First, she left her lingerie on the bed, then went to take a shower and asked him to hand her a towel. After that, she sat next to him in just a bathrobe, pretending to need help with something, and finally, she pretended to fall, causing the bathrobe to slip off.
Any normal guy would find it hard to resist all that.
Even though Genevieve was only a high school senior, she was already eighteen, with a pure and charming look. Her youthful vibe was enough to make anyone's heart race.
If Noah didn't love his wife Lisa so much and had no interest in other women, he might have done something impulsive just now.
"Noah, just say yes," Genevieve insisted after Noah turned her down, pouting.
"Don't think I'm too young. I know what I'm doing! And I don't care that you're older than me!"
"I'm already married," Noah said, feeling a bit helpless. "Besides, you should be focusing on your studies and getting into college, not on this kind of stuff."
"No way! Noah, you're so young, and you're already married?" Genevieve was stunned, unable to believe it. "You must be lying to me, right? You just think I'm too young and don't like me."
Noah felt a headache coming on.
Suddenly, he heard the sound of a key turning in the door.
"My mom's back!" Genevieve's eyes widened. "Noah, I'm going to my room to do homework. We'll talk about this later!"
With that, she quickly retreated to her bedroom.
Noah breathed a sigh of relief. Emma's arrival was perfectly timed; otherwise, he really wouldn't know how to handle Genevieve.
"Noah," Emma greeted as she entered the room, smiling at him. "Sorry to keep you waiting. I was swamped at work today."
Emma was dressed in a black business suit, with the top button of her blouse undone, revealing a bit of cleavage. Her figure was very sexy, like a ripe fruit exuding fragrance.
"No problem, let's get ready to go," Noah replied with a smile.
"Alright!" Emma nodded, grabbed a thick stack of documents from her desk, and left the house with Noah, heading to the community gate.
Noah sat in the driver's seat, Bodhi in the passenger seat. Once Emma got in the car, Noah introduced her.
"This is my friend, Bodhi Cooper. He used to work in mining in the Desert Continent. He's just returned to the country with a lot of funds and wants to invest in some real industries."
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Cooper." Emma extended her hand and smiled at Bodhi. Seeing him dressed in a Versace suit with a Patek Philippe watch on his wrist, she nodded inwardly, recognizing him as a big shot with an extraordinary presence.
"Nice to meet you." Bodhi shook Emma's hand briefly and then withdrew, not saying much.
Emma didn't mind; she believed that big shots should act like that.
"Let's head to the Silverlight City Hotel. The Harris family has prepared a banquet there," Emma said with a smile.
Noah started the car and drove towards the Silverlight City Hotel.
Due to the evening rush hour, the roads were congested, and it took about an hour to get there, arriving just in time for seven o'clock.
The Silverlight City Hotel was the top-rated five-star hotel in town. At the entrance, a statue of five horses pulling an ancient chariot gave off an impressive vibe.
Only the elite and influential frequented this place.
After parking the car, Bodhi walked in the center, with Noah and Emma flanking him, showing their respect as they entered the hotel.
"Welcome!" the staff at the door greeted them with bows and smiles.
Inside the lobby, the decor was lavish, with two rows of stone pillars adorned with intricate carvings, making it feel like an ancient palace.
Their private room was already reserved on the top floor, the Celestial Pavilion. Led by a staff member, the three took the elevator and entered the private room.
Inside, a large round table was surrounded by several people.
These individuals were all in their forties and fifties, at the peak of their careers, each with an impressive presence.
"Mr. Cooper, these are the owners of the Harris family factory shares. Each of them is worth at least five million dollars, with several worth over a hundred million," Emma introduced.
As Noah and the others entered, the bosses turned their curious gazes towards them.
Bodhi nodded and walked to the head seat, sitting down directly, with Noah beside him.
"Taking the head seat? Who is this guy?"
"That's Mr. Harris's seat!"
"Yeah, isn't he afraid of making Mr. Harris angry?"
The bosses' expressions changed, and even Emma was momentarily stunned.
"Sorry to keep you all waiting!"
A voice full of energy and authority echoed, causing everyone to look towards the door.
A middle-aged man in his fifties entered, hands clasped behind his back.
His face had some wrinkles, but his eyes were sharp and penetrating, like swords, making people feel a sense of pressure just by looking at him.
This aura was only possessed by those in high positions of power.
This man was Nathaniel, the Harris family's business leader in Silverlight City!
Nathaniel was known for his intelligence and ruthless business tactics.
The Harris family's influence in Silverlight City and its surrounding areas was largely due to his strategic maneuvers.
In the Harris family, his status was among the top five!
"Mr. Harris!"
"Mr. Harris, long time no see. How have you been?"
"Mr. Harris, I must toast you later!"
The bosses stood up, their faces full of flattery and smiles.
Behind Nathaniel was a young man.
He had a sharp chin and smooth skin, almost like a woman, exuding strong confidence. His demeanor commanded respect.
Noah recognized him immediately. It was Hawk, a direct descendant of the Harris family, whom he had met at the Intoxicated Red Boat.
Nathaniel greeted each boss warmly, showing his social skills.
After finishing the greetings, he habitually walked towards the head seat.
Nathaniel paused, seeing someone already seated there.
He smiled at Bodhi without showing any emotion. "May I ask who you are?"
"Mr. Harris, this is the person I mentioned who wants to invest in the factory's environmental equipment, Mr. Bodhi Cooper," Emma quickly introduced.
"He used to work in mining in the Desert Continent. He's returned to the country to invest in real industries."
