Chapter 433 Fire Him
Everyone stared at Lisa in shock.
"Lisa, stop being ridiculous!" Daniel's eyebrows shot up in anger. "You're still young. Getting remarried right after your divorce is your best option! Otherwise, in a few years when you're past your prime, what man will want you?"
"Exactly, Lisa," Sarah chimed in. "Tyrell is quite a catch—earning millions, trusted by his boss, with unlimited potential. And he's actually interested in you! That's incredibly lucky. Don't be stupid about this!"
Sarah was already calculating the benefits. If Lisa married Tyrell, her husband Larry would definitely get promoted with Tyrell's help. The advantages for Sarah's family would be enormous.
"Lisa, I wasn't upset when you rejected me last night," Tyrell said smoothly. "I thought perhaps I wasn't good enough for you, given your beauty and grace. Last night, my position and income were modest. But now things have changed—I've been promoted. With my million-dollar salary, I'm at the top of the social ladder. Now I am worthy of you."
He continued, his eyes gleaming with arrogance, "As Sarah said, this is the opportunity of a lifetime. You should grab it! Just divorce Noah, and I'll take you to get our marriage license immediately. With my current income, I could have any woman I want—even beautiful ones like you."
Hearing this, Daniel panicked, afraid Tyrell might change his mind. "Lisa, hurry up and divorce Noah! If Tyrell backs out, you'll have nowhere to cry! Don't throw away this golden opportunity!"
"I'm sorry, but I don't want this 'once-a-lifetime' opportunity,'" Lisa replied firmly, looking at Tyrell. "After my divorce, I won't marry you."
"Lisa, you—" Daniel's eyes bulged, shocked by her stubbornness.
He turned to Noah. "You worthless piece of trash, what are you standing around for? Go get divorced with Lisa already!"
Daniel had decided that once the divorce was finalized, he'd use any means necessary to force Lisa to marry Tyrell.
"Noah, let's go handle the divorce," Lisa said, looking at Noah with tears threatening to fall. She didn't want to drag this out any longer—every minute was torture. Better to get it over with quickly.
"Let's go," Noah grinned at Lisa, stepping forward to take her soft, cool hand as they headed toward the exit.
"Noah! Watch yourself—Lisa is my fiancée!" Tyrell exploded in rage, feeling like someone was stealing his prized possession.
"Your fiancée? You've got some nerve. When exactly did Lisa become your fiancée?" Noah shot Tyrell a cold sidelong glance.
Under Noah's gaze, Tyrell trembled. He suddenly felt like a dangerous predator was sizing him up, and sweat broke out on his back.
"You're going to get divorced, and then Lisa will marry me. So yes, she's my fiancée. What's wrong with that?" Tyrell snorted. "Besides, you're not good enough for her. Only someone like me, earning millions, deserves Lisa's beauty and grace!"
"When did I say we were getting divorced? And as for your millions—try keeping your job first, then brag to me," Noah replied flatly.
With that, he continued walking.
"Noah, let go of her! Stop!" Tyrell shouted, moving to follow them.
But as he took his first step, a black blur came at him—Noah's foot, moving with incredible speed.
A dull thud echoed through the hall.
Tyrell went flying, slamming hard against the wall. Blood gushed from his mouth as his face turned ghostly pale. He let out an agonized wail.
His screams were horrific. Tyrell felt like every bone in his body had shattered, his internal organs were rattled, and his head was spinning from the pain.
Seeing this, Daniel and the others stepped back in shock. They hadn't expected Noah to attack so suddenly or inflict such severe injuries with just one kick.
"Let's go, honey," Noah said, looking at Lisa with a gentle smile.
Hearing him call her "honey," Lisa trembled, her voice catching. "We're getting divorced. I'm not your 'honey' anymore. Where are you taking me?"
"To meet my mother," Noah replied, leading Lisa out of the Hilton.
Lisa's mind went blank. She hadn't expected Noah to take her to see Jade. In her dazed state, she let Noah lead her to his car.
Once in the car, instead of heading straight to the Silverlight City guesthouse, Noah called Daryl.
"Noah!" Daryl's casual voice greeted him as soon as the call connected.
"Is Tyrell one of your employees?" Noah asked directly.
"Yeah, he's got a PhD in civil engineering and does good work, though his character is questionable. I've heard rumors about some inappropriate relationships with female colleagues," Daryl replied with a laugh.
"But I rarely concern myself with people's private lives as long as they make money for me. I just put him in charge of most of my Silverlight City real estate holdings. With all my business in Oceanbridge City, I can't manage everything myself."
"I see. Fire him," Noah said flatly.
Daryl paused briefly, then grinned. "Consider it done!"
Of course Daryl would follow Noah's orders—his current success was all thanks to Noah. Besides, Daryl had plenty of talented people like Tyrell. Firing one was no big deal.
"Good," Noah nodded and hung up.
...
Back at the Hilton, Tyrell clutched his stomach, coughing up blood. His eyes were red with fury as he ground his teeth.
"That bastard!" he seethed. "How dare Noah hit me! I'll have him killed! My construction workers will do anything for money. Fifty thousand dollars for Noah's life!"
"Noah is so clueless, attacking someone like Tyrell," Larry sighed.
"Tyrell is Fields' golden boy. Attacking him is like slapping Fields in the face. How is that different from suicide?"
"Noah's better off dead anyway," Sarah sneered. "Living in a world where everyone mocks and despises him must be painful. Death would be a mercy."
Daniel stood to the side, watching coldly without comment.
Suddenly, Tyrell's phone rang.
Checking the number, his expression changed instantly to one of respect. It was Daryl.
He quickly swallowed the blood in his mouth, answered the call, and plastered on a fawning smile.
"Mr. Fields!"
