Chapter 419 Royal No.1
After leaving Oasis Villa, Noah first found Bodhi and briefed him about Fox.
Bodhi immediately agreed to accompany Noah to the underground casino.
At eleven that night, they stood at the highway exit to Silverlight City. A cold breeze swept through the air.
Noah and Bodhi stood side by side, watching as a convoy of Buick vans—at least twenty of them—slowly exited the highway and came to a stop.
Noah pulled his coat tighter against the chill as the door of the lead vehicle swung open. A young man with a buzz cut stepped out.
It was Ethan.
"Noah!" he called out, approaching with a grin. "I brought everyone from Respect Noah Pavilion—one hundred and sixty men, all top fighters."
The doors of the other vans opened, and burly men poured out.
"Noah!" they shouted in unison, their voices thundering through the night.
Each man carried himself with a cold, dangerous air—clearly veterans of many street battles.
Some of them stole glances at Noah, finally understanding the meaning behind their organization's name: "Respect Noah Pavilion" meant exactly that—respecting Noah and following his commands without question.
Noah nodded. "Let's move. We'll meet with Sidney first."
"Yes, sir."
Everyone returned to their vehicles.
At this hour, Sidney would still be at his underground casino. About an hour later, the convoy arrived at Galaxy District, Brookside Road, Number 43—the Pinewood Breakfast Shop.
The streets were nearly deserted at this hour. During the day, twenty-plus vans filled with sunglasses-wearing thugs would have certainly attracted police attention.
"Mr. Anderson."
Sidney emerged from the shop, several subordinates trailing behind him. Dressed in a suit with short hair and a round face, his expression was tense.
He knew Noah planned to take out Fox tonight, and that made him nervous. After all, Fox was a member of the Murphy family's Law Enforcement Department—someone who held an untouchable position in the criminal underworld, far beyond Sidney's reach.
To Sidney, Noah's plan to go after Fox seemed like a fool's errand. But with his family's lives in Noah's hands, he had no choice but to help, regardless of his personal doubts.
'Family comes first,' Sidney thought grimly. 'If I die but my wife and children survive, that's all that matters.'
Noah nodded. "Did you bring your men?"
"Yes, thirty of my best. But who are all these people?" Sidney asked, noticing the line of Buick vans stretching down the street.
Each vehicle contained men with cold, deadly auras—over a hundred of them, all clearly skilled fighters.
Sidney studied Noah carefully, wondering where he'd found such manpower. He'd seen Noah's Respect Noah Pavilion members before—thirty or forty elite fighters—but he never imagined Noah could mobilize so many more.
"These are my people," Noah said coolly. "Should be enough to handle Fox, wouldn't you say?"
Sidney paused before responding. "Hard to tell. Fox travels with a security detail from the Law Enforcement Department—all highly trained."
He glanced again at the Respect Noah Pavilion members before continuing. "Mr. Anderson, I initially thought going after Fox was suicide. But seeing the men you've brought... I'd say we have a fifty-fifty chance, especially since Fox doesn't know we're coming."
"Fifty percent is enough," Noah nodded. "Let's move out."
Everyone returned to their vehicles.
Fox had gathered his lieutenants at Royal No.1 KTV in Strollway District. By twelve-thirty in the morning, Noah's group had positioned themselves 1,500 feet from the venue.
"We should get out here," Sidney suggested. "Fox is paranoid—he'll have surveillance set up around any meeting place. If too many of us approach at once, we'll be spotted."
Noah nodded and instructed the Respect Noah Pavilion members to exit the vehicles and spread out on foot.
"Royal No.1 looks like an ordinary KTV club, but three floors below ground is an underground casino run by Brad Thornton, a Strollway District boss and one of Fox's trusted lieutenants," Sidney explained. "Only eight of us should enter."
"Eight?" Ethan's face darkened. If something went wrong, they could be killed before the rest of their men could reach them.
"It's fine," Noah said calmly, though his nerves were on high alert as he carefully observed Sidney. His biggest concern was that Sidney might have already alerted Fox, setting a trap.
Of course, if that were the case, Sidney's entire family would pay the price.
"Alright," Ethan agreed reluctantly, selecting four elite members from Respect Noah Pavilion to accompany them.
With Sidney leading the way, Noah, Bodhi, Ethan, and the others followed close behind as they approached the entrance to Royal No.1 KTV.
"Sidney!" Two burly men at the door immediately bowed their heads respectfully when they spotted him.
"Is Mr. Murphy here yet?" Sidney asked casually.
"Yes, he's already on B3. Almost all the Silverlight City bosses have arrived," one of the guards replied.
Sidney nodded and led the group into the KTV club.
The interior was lavishly decorated with gold and crystal fixtures. Scantily clad waitresses moved between private rooms, from which came the sound of drunken, off-key singing.
Sidney navigated confidently through the club to the elevator and pressed the button for B3. As the chains clinked, Noah felt his body float slightly upward. Seconds later, they arrived.
When the elevator doors opened, two men stood guard on either side. Both wore black masks that revealed only their cold eyes.
"Search them before entry," one ordered icily upon seeing Sidney's group.
Noah studied the two men, noting that their masked appearance matched those at The Luca Mansion exactly.
These must be members of the Murphy family's infamous "Law Enforcement Department."
"Of course," Sidney complied, removing his pistol and setting it aside without protest.
"Noah?" Ethan looked to him questioningly.
They had all brought weapons, and surrendering them now would leave them vulnerable if things went south.
Noah nodded slightly to Ethan. They'd come too far to turn back now.
Seeing this signal, Ethan, Bodhi, and the Respect Noah Pavilion members all removed their guns and placed them aside.
The masked guards showed no surprise at this. One of them produced a long scanner with a red light and stepped forward.
