Chapter 223 Facebook Live's Top Streamer
"No!" Scarlett shook her head and clung to Noah, her voice resolute. "I don't want your money or your candy. Noah gives me everything I need. I don't need anything from you!"
"What can he give you?" The Cool sneered, glancing at Noah. "At most, he can buy you a few lollipops. But I can give you lots of money and take you to Michelin-starred restaurants, French cuisine, and even anything you want."
"I said no!" Scarlett shook her head again.
The Cool looked a bit frustrated, and the viewers in the livestream chat were getting restless.
Unknown: [The Cool, teach him a lesson!]
Unknown: [Get that guy out of here! I want to see that little girl!]
Unknown: [Yeah, if you can't make it, I will unsubscribe and never send gifts again!]
Unknown: [Come on, show me that little girl!]Seeing these comments, The Cool felt anxious. These viewers were his big spenders, and he had to keep them happy.
He glared coldly at Noah. "I'm giving you the last chance. Take the money and leave, or I won't be so nice."
Noah ignored the threat and looked at The Cool, puzzled. "Isn't it rude to film others during your livestream? Doesn't the platform's admin shut you down for that?"
"Shut him down? Do you even know who he is?" A woman nearby laughed as if she'd heard a joke, rolling her eyes.
Then she sneered and explained, "He's a famous outdoor streamer in the entire country, a huge influencer with tons of followers. He used to stream on Douyu, but now he's on Facebook Live. He just started here, and he already has three million subscribers. Right now, there are over a million viewers in his livestream. Do you think the admins would shut him down for a little rule-breaking?"
Hearing this, Noah frowned slightly, as if considering something.
"Shut down my stream? Do you think you're the owner of Facebook Live?" The Cool sneered at Noah. "Now, get out of here!"
At that moment, footsteps approached.
Four young men walked over, smiling broadly. When they saw The Cool, they called out excitedly, "The Cool... The Cool, I'm a huge fan! I love your streams... We saw you were streaming at Columbus Square, so we rushed over..."
"Thanks for the support!" The Cool smiled. As a top outdoor streamer, he was used to fans approaching him for autographs and such, so he wasn't surprised.
"But The Cool, it looks like you're having some trouble," one of the young men said, glancing at Noah.
He had been watching the livestream and knew what was going on.
"Trouble? No way! Just a poor guy who can't cause me any problems." The Cool waved dismissively, not taking Noah seriously.
"The Cool has millions of followers," the young man said, walking up to Noah and glaring at him coldly. "Talking to you is the luckiest moment of your life. Now, The Cool is asking you to step aside for a bit. You should be grateful, but you're refusing. How stupid you are?"
"Maybe he's trying to demand a higher quotation," another young man suggested, "Thinks a thousand bucks isn't enough!"
"Get out of the way and let The Cool film the little girl, or we'll teach you a lesson ourselves!" another man shouted at Noah.
With that, the four young men surrounded Noah, their expressions cold, ready to act.
"Noah," Scarlett said, scared, clutching Noah's hand tightly.
"It's okay, don't be afraid," Noah squeezed Scarlett's cheek gently and smiled.
Seeing Noah's confident look, Scarlett felt much more at ease.
"Didn't expect you to have so many idiot fans," Noah said, glancing at The Cool before looking at the four young men.
"Idiot fans?" The young men were stunned, then their faces turned cold. "Calling us idiot fans! You're asking for it!"
They rolled up their sleeves, ready to teach Noah a lesson.
Meanwhile, the livestream chat was buzzing again.
Unknown: [Is there going to be a fight?]
Unknown: [That guy is asking for it. He should respect The Cool!]
Unknown: [Yeah, let him know he messed with the wrong person!]
Unknown: [Is this staged? Are they just trying to get us to send gifts?]
Unknown: [If they fight, won't the stream get shut down? That's definitely against the rules.]
"Don't worry, the stream won't get shut down," The Cool said, reading the comments with a smile. "I'm the most popular streamer on Facebook Live right now. My viewers alone bring in tons of money for the platform. The admins would be crazy to shut us down."
Suddenly, golden treasure maps started appearing on the screen, and the chat exploded.
Unknown: [Someone's sending treasure map gifts!]
Unknown: [Each one is worth ten thousand dollars! Five in a row!]
Unknown: [Fifty thousand dollars! A rich fan is here!]
The Cool's eyes lit up, and he quickly said, "Thank you, BookLoverAmy, for the five treasure map gifts! From Douyu to Facebook Live, thank you for your support!"
At the same time, notifications went out across all of Facebook Live: [BookLoverAmy has sent treasure map gifts in The Cool's livestream. Everyone, go check it out.]
The viewer count quickly jumped to one and a half million.
BookLoverAmy commented: [The Cool, beat him up. I can't stand him! After you do, I'll send five more treasure map gifts.]
"Got it!" The Cool nodded and told his four fans, "Go ahead, teach him a lesson! He doesn't know who he's messing with. If anything happens, I'll take responsibility and cover the medical bills!"
Meanwhile, at the Facebook Live headquarters in the Kyle Building.
"Great! Just great!" An admin watching the stream couldn't help but praise. "No wonder he's a top streamer. He brings in massive traffic. He just started, and already a fan has sent fifty thousand dollars in gifts! This guy was worth bringing over!"
Other admins also gathered around, nodding in agreement. "No doubt, he's a top outdoor streamer... Good call by the higher-ups. He's a great addition... He's definitely secured his spot as the number one streamer on Facebook Live..."
"What's The Cool streaming right now?" another admin, Hazel, asked curiously.
"Outdoor stuff! Looks like he's about to get into a fight!" another admin replied.
"A fight?" Hazel was surprised. "That's against the rules. We should warn him or shut down the stream!"
