Chapter 223: The Streaming King
"No!" Scarlett shook her head, hiding behind Noah, firmly stating, "I don't want money, and I don't want delicious food. Noah, big brother, will give me those things. I don't want anything from you."
"What can he give you?" the cool sneered, glancing at Noah. "At most, he can buy you a few lollipops. He can't afford anything else. But I can give you a lot of money and take you to eat at Michelin-starred restaurants like The Melting Pot. Anything you want to eat, I can make it happen."
"I still don't want it!" Scarlett shook her head.
The cool felt somewhat helpless, and the audience in the live stream room was also dissatisfied.
"The cool, get rid of him!"
"Tell this kid to get lost, I want to see the little girl!"
"Yeah, if I don't get to see her, I'll unsubscribe! I won't send you any more gifts!"
"I want to see the little girl!"
...
Seeing these barrage comments, the cool felt anxious. These viewers were like his parents, and he had to treat them well.
He coldly looked at Noah. "Kid, I'll give you one last chance. Take the money and get out of here. Wait for ten minutes, or else I won't be nice to you!"
Noah naturally ignored this threat. He looked at the cool, feeling somewhat puzzled.
"When you're live streaming, you can just randomly shoot strangers like this, and your platform's super administrator doesn't shut down your stream?"
"Shut down? Kid, do you know who he is?" The woman beside him seemed to have heard a joke, chuckled, rolled her eyes and said, "He's the famous outdoor live streamer in the whole Eagleland. He's also a big internet celebrity, representing incredible traffic and fans. He used to be on the listed live streaming platform Douyu, but now he's switched to Facebook Live."
"Just after he came over, he already had three million subscribers, and currently, there are over a million viewers in his live stream room. This is the money tree of Facebook Live. Would the super administrator really shut down his stream because of some minor rule violation?"
Upon hearing this, Noah's eyebrows slightly furrowed as if he was considering something.
"And you said they would shut down my stream. Ha, do you think you're the boss of Facebook Live? You actually dare to say such arrogant words!" The cool also disdainfully looked at Noah.
"Now, hurry up and get out of here!"
At that moment, footsteps were heard.
Four youths approached, their faces filled with smiles. Upon seeing the cool, they all exclaimed in unison:
"The cool!"
"The cool, I'm your fan, I really love your live streams!"
"When we saw you live streaming at Columbus Square, we rushed over!"
"Haha, thanks for the support!"
The cool laughed out loud. He was a top outdoor live streamer in Eagleland, so it was not surprising for him to have fans come up to him for autographs and such.
"But the cool, it seems like you've encountered some trouble," one of the youths said, glancing at Noah.
As they walked over, he had been watching the live stream and was aware of what had transpired.
"Trouble? How can you call that trouble? He's just a loser, what trouble could he possibly cause me?" The cool waved his hand dismissively, not even acknowledging Noah.
"Kid, the cool is a social media star with millions of fans, a top streamer," the youth said, walking straight up to Noah and looking at him coldly. "For him to talk to you is a stroke of luck for you. Now the cool needs your help, all he's asking is for you to stand aside for a moment. That's an opportunity for you, yet you're being so arrogant by not agreeing."
"Arrogant? It's more like I'm asking for more money. Do you think a thousand bucks is enough?" another youth remarked.
"Kid, get out of the way quickly and let the cool take some pictures with this little girl. Otherwise, we'll take matters into our own hands!"
With that, the four youths surrounded Noah, their expressions icy cold and ready to make a move.
"Noah, big brother..." Scarlett was starting to get scared, tightly gripping Noah's hand.
"It's okay, don't be afraid." Noah squeezed Scarlett's cheek and smiled slightly.
"Mhmm!"
Seeing Noah's confident gaze, Scarlett immediately felt more at ease.
"I didn't expect you to have so many brainless fans," Noah remarked, glancing at the cool before fixing his gaze on the four youths, his voice calm.
"Brainless fans?" The four youths were momentarily stunned before their faces turned completely cold.
"You punk! Asking for death!"
"Daring to call us brainless fans!"
They rolled up their sleeves, ready to teach Noah a lesson.
