Chapter 196 Sent for Cremation!
Robert frowned and covered his nose.
Lisa's gaze also flickered. She hadn’t expected her elder sister to lose control in front of everyone.
Bang!
Noah swung his left hand, and Sarah crashed into the wall.
Wow!
She was shaken to her core. Blood sprayed from her mouth, and she felt like her whole body was being shattered and in excruciating pain.
"Noah... you hit a woman! Are you even a man?!"
Sarah coughed up blood, her glaring eyes fixed on Noah, full of malice.
However, her whole body continued to tremble out of fear.
When Noah said, "I will kill," Sarah had really felt a sense of impending death.
That cold and chilling feeling, made her instinctively afraid. Her entire body became weak and she trembled, her blood frozen with fright.
She had no doubt about Noah's words.
If she were to cross Noah's principles, Noah would really kill!
"A woman?" Noah glanced at Sarah disdainfully. "I didn't hit a woman, I hit some immoral garbage."
After saying that, Noah looked at Lisa. "I'll wait for you in the car. Visit for a bit and then hurry home. You still have to go to work tomorrow."
Then, Noah turned around, hands behind him, and walked toward the door.
"Noah, Daniel's illness..."
Robert immediately called out anxiously, Noah's words had made him unsure about Noah's relationship with Daniel, so he had to confirm.
"Do your best to cure him." Noah's voice came in faintly.
Even Lisa's expression subtly changed when she heard that.
"Alright, I understand!" Robert hastily responded.
After leaving the hospital room, Noah went to the parking lot and waited quietly.
Half an hour later, Lisa came out, her eyes red and swollen.
Noah started the car and asked, "How's Daniel's condition?"
"It wasn't ideal, so they waited for a heart specialist to come and perform the surgery," Lisa said, knowing that Noah and Daniel didn't get along.
But Daniel, was her father, and she naturally felt sad since he was seriously ill.
Noah nodded and didn't say anything further as he went home with Lisa.
The next morning, Lisa went to work. After finishing breakfast, Noah left Golden Summit Peak and headed to Azure Hills Estate.
He wanted to help Grace with some school matters. He had talked to her last night and had already come to regard Grace as his own sister.
The car stopped at the hotel entrance, and soon Grace came out.
She was wearing a white T-shirt, and was flat-chested, with a slender figure. If it wasn't for her fair complexion and long hair, she could easily be mistaken for a frail young boy.
"Noah!"
Grace opened the car door and sat in the passenger seat, her face beaming with a smile. She was delighted to see Noah again.
A faint sense of innocence emanated from Grace.
Noah nodded and glanced at Grace.
In terms of her figure, Grace was quite skinny, perhaps due to malnutrition during childhood that had affected her development.
But in terms of her looks, she was still quite attractive.
If she paid attention to her nutrition and had a second period of growth, it would be possible for her to grow into a stunning beauty with a well-endowed figure.
"Cough..."
Noah coughed lightly, suddenly realizing that he was thinking too far ahead.
"Noah, what's wrong? Are you catching a cold?" Grace looked at him with concern.
"It's nothing, maybe I stayed up late last night and caught a little cold," Noah said casually.
Noah’s phone suddenly rang.
"Hello." Noah answered the call.
"This is Hazel, the administrator of the Facebook Live platform. I have Owner of the Rolls-Royce, Noah, on the line." Hazel's voice came through. Noah's phone number was in the Facebook Live database.
Grace also perked up her ears when she heard Hazel’s voice.
"Well, what's the matter?" asked Noah.
"Were you satisfied with Natalie’s services last night? If you were, according to the contract we have with Natalie on our platform, we will deduct five million from the ten million and give it to Natalie," the live stream administrator said.
"Meanwhile, we no longer need the $60,000 she owed us, after all, Natalie earned us five million dollars. Natalie is now a free agent and can choose to renew her contract with our platform or find other work. Of course, all of this depends on your satisfaction with Natalie's service."
Grace immediately looked at Noah, her heart pounding, wanting to hear his answer.
Noah touched his chin. "I was satisfied."
"Good, then I’ll transfer the money to Natalie."
After hanging up, Noah started the car and drove toward Oceanbridge City Financial University.
Ding!
Grace's phone beeped. She picked it up and read the message she had just received.
"Your card ending in 7352 has received a transfer of $5,000,000.00 at 08:36, current balance $5,000,023.00..."
Grace's eyes widened as she quietly counted, "One, ten, hundred, thousand, ten thousand... five... five million!"
She was stunned!
Grace had never seen so much money in her entire life.
This was five million dollars!
"Noah... I... I can't take this five million," she said, her gaze flickering. "It's too much, and you didn't even sleep with me last night. Give me your account number, I’ll transfer this five million to you right now!"
"Since I'm giving it to you, just take it. That money is nothing to me," Noah said indifferently, unaffected.
"But..."
Grace hesitated; five million was too much for her, and she didn't dare spend it.
She had been poor for too long, suddenly having five million made her feel like she was in a dream.
Her fate in this lifetime had been completely rewritten by that five million!
"Don't hesitate, just take it. Your family's situation isn't good to begin with. With that money, you can buy a house for your parents in your hometown, and you can also use the remaining money as a down payment to buy a house in Oceanbridge City," Noah said nonchalantly.
Five million was a lot for Grace.
But for Noah and truly wealthy people like him, it was not that much money.
In a first-tier city, it was the price of a house at most.
"Alright, I'll take it! In any case, I'll definitely use this money properly and not waste it!" Grace nodded.
Noah didn't say anything more; instead, he took out his phone and dialed a number.
At the same time, in the office of the Oceanbridge City Education Bureau, a middle-aged man was reviewing documents.
The man was wearing a white shirt and appeared to be in his forties with wrinkles forming at the corners of his eyes. He had a serious look on his face and wore gold-rimmed glasses. Around him were documents titled "Overview of the Construction Project for the Poor District Elementary School."
After carefully reading through the documents and signing his name, the man let out a sigh of relief. "The funding for the makeshift school construction was transferred to the education system's bank account yesterday. With the completion of the overview, the construction of the poor district elementary school can now begin!
"All of this would not have been possible without the boundless generosity of Noah!" the man exclaimed.
