Chapter 279: Number One in Ratings!

"That's excellent!"

Noah smiled, knowing that with "I Am a Tycoon" trending, Shark Live, the main sponsor, would gain even more recognition.

"Our Shark Live app saw ten million downloads overnight, tripling our usual numbers," Nathan reported.

"As 'I Am a Tycoon' continues to air, its ratings will only rise, and Shark Live's brand awareness will grow exponentially. Our app's user base will multiply."

"Noah, going public on NASDAQ within a year is not an impossible dream."

"I know," Noah replied calmly.

"By the way, Noah, there's one more thing that might affect your reputation," Nathan added.

"What's that?"

"The second trending topic on Twitter is 'Noah the Son-in-Law' from 'I Am a Tycoon.'"

"The discussions are mostly negative, criticizing your personality and sharing memes. Some are even trying to dig up your real-life information."

"It doesn't matter."

Noah laughed, unconcerned.

"Your focus should be on managing 'I Am a Tycoon' and Shark Live. With the influx of users, we must maintain our service quality."

"I understand, Noah!"

"Good."

After a brief chat, Noah hung up.

Negative comments were like a breeze to Noah, not worth his concern.

The rapid growth of Shark Live, leveraging "I Am a Tycoon," was what truly pleased him.

With such high ratings for the premiere, future episodes would bring even more sponsorship revenue, potentially exceeding thirty billion.

This was fantastic news.

"Noah, Noah! You loser, get out here!"

As Noah reveled in his joy, a voice suddenly rang out from downstairs.

It was Daniel.

Noah went downstairs to find three people in the living room.

Daniel, Larry, and Sarah.

Larry's face beamed with pride, clearly in high spirits.

After the premiere of "I Am a Tycoon" last night, Larry had immediately opened a Twitter account and got it verified.

In just one night, he had gained a million followers, many of whom sent private messages praising him for putting Noah in his place.

They also admired his character.

Among them were many young, beautiful girls, calling him "Brother Larry," which made Larry feel like he was on cloud nine.

More importantly, he received a message from the show's director last night.

The premiere of "I Am a Tycoon" had been a huge success, and the team decided to build a fan economy around Larry, grooming him to be a star.

"A star! Being recognized on the streets, signing autographs, earning millions in endorsement fees!"

The thought made Larry so excited that he couldn't sleep all night.

He had also shared this news with Daniel and Sarah.

They were equally thrilled, especially Daniel, whose joy was almost overwhelming.

Having a son-in-law who was a star would bring him immense pride among relatives.

Today, the three had come to discuss something with Noah.

"Noah, you watched the premiere of 'I Am a Tycoon' last night, right?" Daniel asked smugly, sitting on the sofa with his legs crossed as Noah came downstairs.

"I did," Noah replied calmly. "What's the matter?"

"Haha, since you watched it, don't you know how sensational it was?" Sarah sneered.

"Last night, 'I Am a Tycoon' had the highest ratings in its time slot nationwide and topped Twitter's trending list today. More importantly, the main character last night was Larry. You know that, right?"

Sarah found Noah's calm demeanor infuriating.

This guy was too good at pretending.

Wasn't he shocked or jealous of Larry's success on the show?

He was probably dying of envy inside but kept a calm facade for the sake of appearance.

"I know," Noah remained composed, hands behind his back as he looked at the three.

"So what?"

"So what? You still ask so what?" Sarah's eyes widened.

"Don't you know that our Larry is now known by everyone in Eagleland? The 'I Am a Tycoon' team said they would make Larry a star with millions of fans!"

"And you, Noah, are now being denounced by the people of Eagleland! Twitter, Reddit, forums, and all social media are filled with discussions about you, calling you pretentious, stingy, and disrespectful!"

Larry grinned, watching Noah with a mocking gaze.

"You three came here just to tell me this nonsense?" Noah sneered.

"Nonsense? This is far from nonsense."

Daniel chuckled. "Noah, let's not beat around the bush. If you step outside now, I guarantee you'll be recognized and mocked by everyone. Your reputation is ruined across Eagleland."

"But no matter what, you're still the son-in-law of the Wilson Family. I know you don't care about your reputation, but your disgrace brings shame to our family too."

"We're here to help you clean up your image in front of the people of Eagleland."

"Oh? And how do you plan to do that?"

Noah's interest was piqued.

"Right now, kneel down and apologize to me. You've been extremely disrespectful to me as your father-in-law, making me kneel in public and threatening to kick me out. You even made me so angry that I ended up in the hospital. I remember all of this!"

Daniel stroked his chin and chuckled.

"If you kneel and apologize, Larry will record a video and send it to Sofia, and it will be aired in the next episode of 'I Am a Tycoon.'"

"By then, your image as disrespectful and ill-mannered will naturally be cleared."

"Of course, you must also kneel and apologize to George. He is your elder, and hitting him was a grave disrespect."

Daniel was immensely pleased with himself.

"Also, don't forget the Taurus and the Greek god statues. After you kneel and apologize, deliver them to me immediately!" he added.
