Lisa was dumbfounded. "Dad, what is this all about? Betrothal gifts? Son-in-law?"
"Hahaha, I was so happy that I forgot to tell you about this." Daniel laughed heartily. "Let me introduce you. This handsome man is Ivan, the husband I found for you."
"You found a husband for me?"
Lisa's gaze turned cold. "I already have a husband. Why did you find a husband for me?"
"How could Noah, a useless loser, deserve to be called a 'husband'? Can't you see, he just stays at home doing nothing. He has no sense of responsibility at all, he’s totally unfit to be a husband!"
"Oh? So this is Lisa's current husband!" Ivan looked at Noah and extended his hand playfully.
"I’m Ivan, I work at Noah Capital as an investment advisor. I wonder where you work?"
"Look at that, that’s what a high-quality person looks like! He’s talking to a loser so politely! Small town people sure are well-mannered!" Daniel exclaimed in admiration.
"You don't have to be so courteous to him, Ivan, he's just a waste of space," Larry said.
Since Lisa was going to marry Ivan anyway, Larry didn't bother hiding it and hypocritically insulted Noah.
"I have no job." Noah shook hands with Ivan.
"You have no job?" Ivan was taken aback. A hint of contempt appeared in his eyes as he laughed.
"You're married. Shouldn't you find a job and earn money to support the family?"
"I don't need to earn money," Noah calmly replied, knowing that he had more than enough.
That statement held another meaning to Ivan, causing his brow to furrow.
"You don't need to earn money? You must be joking Noah. Even someone like me, who has five properties, needs to go out and work. Why are you saying you don’t need to earn money?
"Society is very stressful nowadays. Without money, how can you survive?
"Lisa must have gone through a lot of hardships to marry you! But don't worry, when Lisa is with me, I’ll give her a comfortable life."
Daniel nodded in satisfaction. He believed that once Lisa married Ivan, she would have a good life.
"So here's the deal, time is of the essence. I'll take you guys to handle the divorce procedures right away," Ivan said.
"After we complete the divorce procedures, Lisa and I will register our marriage. My birth certificates and everything are in the car. Did you bring your birth certificates, Daniel?"
"Yes, I did!" Daniel nodded and took out the birth certificates. "Everything is ready, including the photos. We can process it immediately."

Lisa slammed her hand on the table, her face pale with anger.
"Why didn't you tell me about this, Dad?"
"Why should I? Are you dissatisfied?" Daniel was surprised but quickly added, "I forgot to tell you, you and Ivan work at the same company. Your office are close to each other, they’re both at Wealth Plaza. After you get married, you can go to work together."
"His future looks bright, and within three years, you can make a six-figure salary. Aren’t you satisfied with him?"
"That's not what I meant, Dad. I'm saying that I'm already married, so why did you find someone for me?" Lisa said coldly.
"You can get divorced, right? Noah is useless, he doesn't deserve to be my son-in-law, and I’m very dissatisfied with him," Daniel sneered.
"You should go and file for divorce, and then register for marriage with Ivan."
"You’re the one who’s dissatisfied! I’m very satisfied with my husband, we’re not getting divorced!"
Lisa slammed the table again. "If you want me to get married, then you marry him. Let's go Noah!"
After she finished speaking, Lisa pulled Noah and left the Jade Lake Villa.
"This is nonsense! Complete nonsense!"
Daniel was so angry that he puffed up and shouted, "I worked hard to raise you, and this is the attitude you have toward me?! What’s so good about Noah, that useless guy? Why are you so devoted to him?"
"My sister really has high expectations but low capabilities. She can't even appreciate Ivan! Sigh!" Sarah laughed derisively.
"She's probably just trying to have her cake and eat it too. She won't get a divorce now, but if she finds a rich man’s son, she'll divorce Noah and marry into a wealthy family."
"Don't be angry, Daniel," Ivan advised. "Think about it, it’s really sudden. Lisa might be shy and not be able to accept it right away, which might be why she said that."
"Well, how about this? Lisa and I work in the same area. I'll pick her up after work every night, we’ll get to know each other better, and naturally, she’ll accept me."

"Honey, I know what my dad did was very wrong, but please don't be angry," Lisa looked at Noah with big eyes.
"Angry? Why would I be angry?" Noah asked, smiling.
"I didn’t think that my dad would find someone for me... sigh!" Lisa sighed softly.
"Don't worry, I won't be angry," Noah said. "You’re my wife, and you will be my wife for the rest of our lives. No one can take you away from me."
There was an unquestionable tone in his voice.
Lisa was also very happy. "And no one can take you away from me."
The two of them smiled at each other.
"By the way, honey, I'm hungry. Let's go to a different restaurant and have a meal. We didn’t even touch the utensils." Lisa rubbed her belly.

Noah decided to take Lisa to a restaurant called the Blue Lake Restaurant.
The restaurant had gentle lighting with a small lake nearby. Couples sat by the window, enjoying their meal while admiring the view of the blue lake. It was quite romantic.
After they were seated, Noah ordered a bottle of red wine, caviar, soup, sirloin steak, and some vegetable salad.
The two of them enjoyed their meal in the gentle candlelight.
Lisa drank a glass of red wine, her beautiful face blushing slightly, giving her a hint of shy girlish charm.
Noah had a great time during this meal. He planned to take Lisa out for more meals in the future.
After paying the bill, the two of them prepared to go home.
"Oh, Noah, Lisa?"
A surprised voice came, carrying a sense of astonishment.
Noah looked over and saw two people standing behind him, a man and a woman.
The man was tall, wearing a suit that showcased his well-defined muscles. He had a fair complexion and looked quite handsome.
It was Michael!
The woman next to Michael was wearing a professional dress and high heels. She had an average appearance.
"I didn't expect to run into the two of you here." Michael smiled and looked at Noah, but there was a hint of resentment in his eyes.
"Noah, do you know that because of you, MedicaVibe Ventures in Oceanbridge City gained a bad reputation in the industry and eventually went bankrupt!"
"Oh? Congratulations." Noah grinned.
