Chapter 357 Genevieve's Seduction

"Lyric, Noah's my buddy. Be nice," Bodhi forced a smile. "And Noah's not useless. He's way better than me!"

"Buddy? More like a bad influence. You always put your friends before women, Bodhi. Typical jerk!" Lyric sneered. "Sure, driving a GMC is cool, but he's just another slacker like you."

"Sis-in-law!" Noah grinned at Lyric.

"Who are you calling sis-in-law?" Lyric glared.

"Bodhi's older than me, so it's only natural I call you that," Noah chuckled. "Can I borrow Bodhi for a couple of days?"

"No way! He's my employee now. If he skips work, who's gonna do his job?" Lyric replied coldly.

"Just two days. I'll bring him back after that. You can have someone else cover for him, and I'll pay his wages," Noah said, pulling Bodhi into the car.

"Bye, sis-in-law!" Noah waved as the GMC sped off.

"Noah, you're just making Lyric mad," Bodhi sighed in the car. "Leaving like this without saying goodbye will only make her angrier next time we meet."

"I think it's normal for Lyric to be upset with you. After all, you did let her down," Noah smiled. "But the nightclub is named 'Old Memories,' so she must still have feelings for you."

"Trying to please her by working for her might make her think you're even more of a loser. If you ask me, you should be more assertive. Pursue her and make up for your mistakes."

"Assertive? How?" Bodhi was puzzled.

"Give her gifts, take her out to dinner. Let the past be the past. If you keep bringing it up, she'll only get more annoyed," Noah advised.

Bodhi's eyes lit up, thinking Noah made sense. "Alright, I'll give it a try next time."

"Good," Noah said, shifting to the main topic. "I need you to be my frontman, pretend to be a big boss, and negotiate a deal with the Harris family."

Noah briefly explained his plan.

After listening, Bodhi nodded. "Sure, as long as you trust me with that six billion dollars."

"I trust you. It's settled then, I'll contact the Harris family's accountant tomorrow," Noah said.

"Okay!" Bodhi nodded without hesitation.

Noah dropped Bodhi off at the Hilton Hotel. The next morning, Noah messaged Emma on Facebook, informing her that the big boss was willing to cooperate, provided the Harris family gave up some shares in their factory.

Emma replied shortly after, saying Nathaniel agreed and set a meeting for 7 PM at the Silverlight City Hotel.

Emma asked Noah to come to her house to pick up some documents before heading to the meeting together at 5 PM. Noah agreed.

At 4:30 PM, Noah arrived at Emma's neighborhood, Blossom Community.

"Bodhi, wait in the car," Noah said, parking at the entrance. "You're a big boss now, so there's no need to meet Emma. Only Nathaniel is worthy of your presence."

"I understand." Bodhi nodded.

He was dressed in a Versace suit, his hair slicked back, a neatly trimmed mustache, and a Patek Philippe watch on his wrist. He looked every bit the wealthy man. The outfit alone had cost Noah nearly a million dollars. After all, a boss with six billion dollars needed to look the part.

Noah got out of the car and entered Blossom Community, arriving at Emma's door.

He knocked.

Footsteps approached, and the door opened to reveal Genevieve, not Emma.

"Hey, where's your mom?" Noah asked, surprised.

"She'll be back soon. Come on in and wait," Genevieve said cheerfully. She was in her blue and white school uniform, her chest puffed out, looking very cute. She must have just gotten home from school.

"Alright," Noah said, sitting on the couch.

"Noah, have some water. I'm gonna take a shower," Genevieve said, handing him a glass of water before skipping off to the bathroom.

It was clear Genevieve was happy to see Noah. Soon, the sound of running water filled the air.

"Noah, I forgot my towel. Can you bring it to me?" Genevieve's voice called from the bathroom, trembling slightly with shyness.

"Where is it?" Noah asked.

"On my bed."

Noah walked into Genevieve's bedroom and paused, seeing various intimate items on the bed, with the towel in the middle.

'What is this girl thinking?' Noah thought, feeling Genevieve might be doing this on purpose. He picked up the towel and walked to the bathroom, unfazed.

The glass door slid open, and a wet arm reached out. Inside, Genevieve's curvy silhouette was visible. Noah handed over the towel and returned to the couch.

Soon, Genevieve came out, wrapped in a white towel, her left hand clutching it at her chest. She was dripping wet, steam rising from her body, her big eyes looking at Noah with a mix of innocence and shyness.

"Dry off and get dressed. You don't want to catch a cold," Noah said.

"I'll change later. I'm still wet." Genevieve bit her lip, picked up a guitar leaning against the wall, and sat close to Noah. "Noah, I don't understand some of these guitar techniques. Can you help me?"

Her face was flushed, her breathing a bit rapid. A faint fragrance wafted to Noah's nose.

Noah didn't think much of it. "Okay. Tell me what it is."

Genevieve explained her confusion, and Noah taught her well.

"You look so handsome when you're serious," Genevieve said, her cheeks flushing a beautiful pink, not really listening to Noah, just staring at him with her big, innocent eyes.

The more Noah talked, the more he felt something was off. Genevieve didn't seem to be paying attention.

"Noah, your water is empty. Let me get you more." Genevieve suddenly stood up.

"No need, I'm not thirsty," Noah said, but Genevieve was already heading to the water dispenser.

She suddenly yelped, slipping and falling to the floor. Her grip on the towel loosened, and it slipped, revealing her bare back.

'Damn! She's trying to seduce me!' Noah finally realized. He quickly stepped forward, grabbed the towel, and steadied Genevieve.

"Noah," Genevieve looked up at him with big eyes. She closed her eyes and finally confessed, whispering, "I like you. Will you be my boyfriend?"

"Just focus on your studies." Noah sighed, feeling a headache coming on, patting Genevieve's head.
