Chapter 132 Big Fat Pig
"A Shark Live super admin?"
Noah's eyes flashed. He suddenly understood that when he registered his account, he had filled in his phone number, and the super admin had added him through phone number search.
Noah accepted the friend request.
[Hello.]
Before long, the super admin sent a message with a smiling emoticon at the end.
As Noah was about to reply, his phone rang.
"Hello, Noah." It was Mason. "I've found the information of the previous owner of the phone number you gave me."
"Tell me about it," Noah said.
"The person's name is Amanda and she currently works at a financial company called Reno Financial Company."
"Reno Financial Company..."
Noah rubbed his chin, the name of this financial company had a hint of fraud.
"Where is the company located?" Noah asked.
"It's at Copper Creek Road, number 36," Mason answered. "But Noah, Amanda has some background. He’s Ryan's younger brother."
"Ryan?"
Noah felt that the name was familiar, and then he remembered that Ryan was the older brother behind Caleb in the slum area.
And behind Ryan was the gangster boss, Luke.
Luke had many entertainment venues and mainly operated high-interest loans. He had several offline and online lending companies.
In the streets, Luke's status was on par with Mason!
Noah smiled, surprised to learn that his father-in-law had been a victim of financial fraud, and upon investigation, it had turned out to involve a notorious gang leader, Luke.
"Noah, if you plan on taking action against Amanda, I think you should reconsider. Ryan and Luke have his back," Mason warned in a serious tone. "Luke holds a position similar to mine, he’s always accompanied by bodyguards, and he is cautious with his actions. No one knows where he resides in Oceanbridge City. Normally, Luke and I mind our own businesses, but if he’s provoked, there will be serious consequences."
He added, "Of course, this is just a suggestion, Noah. The decision is still up to you. If you do decide to proceed, I can assign some people to assist you."
"No need for that. I have plans of my own. Goodbye," Noah replied with a smile.
"Very well," Mason said, not saying anything more.
After hanging up the phone, Noah prepared to look for Amanda.
His father-in-law had been swindled out of $500,000, and he needed to make him confess.
As Noah was about to leave, he heard Luna's voice coming from upstairs.
"Hahaha! Noah, Noah!"
Soon after, Luna hurried down the stairs, wearing only her pajamas. Her ample bosom trembled with excitement, and her smooth thighs were exposed.
"What's going on?" Noah asked in confusion.
"I just livestreamed and received a one million dollar gift from the owner of the Rolls-Royce!" Luna exclaimed, full of excitement. She looked at Noah and said, "You're a fan of the Rolls-Royce owner, right? I’ll find his contact information for you! You can meet your idol!"
"Have you obtained his contact information?" Noah asked.
"Um..." Luna's smile froze. "No, I messaged him, but he didn't reply. He must be busy since he's an internet celebrity. But I believe that he'll definitely reply once he sees the message!
"I'll let you know as soon as I get his contact information," Luna promised.
"Okay," Noah nodded as he walked toward the exit.
"Noah, where are you going?" Luna asked, puzzled.
"I have something to take care of," Noah replied. Without saying much, he borrowed a car from Donovan and made a call to Ethan.
"Ethan, come to 36 Copper Creek Road. I'll be waiting there," Noah said.
"Alright, Noah!" Ethan agreed without asking him why.
Half an hour later, Noah arrived at 36 Copper Creek Road.
He parked the car on the side of the road and surveyed his surroundings.
This area was about three kilometers away from the city center of Oceanbridge City and was not particularly busy. The surrounding streets were filled with various financial companies.
The signs of various high-interest online lending financial companies were dazzling.
There were also small advertisements posted on the telephone poles, offering loans with just an ID card, no qualifications required, loans of up to three hundred thousand, and low cash-out rates...
Noah estimated that all the financial companies on this street might have some connection with Luke.
Reno Financial Limited was on the side of the road.
"Noah!" said a voice.
Ethan drove over on an electric bike .
"What's up?" Ethan asked, coming over after parking his electric bike.
"Come with me to check out this company, there might be some conflict later." Noah got off the bike and looked at Reno Financial Limited in front of him.
"Okay, Noah."
Ethan's expression suddenly became serious as he heard about the possibility of a conflict.
Noah confidently strode forward with his hands behind his back and entered the company.
"Sir, you can't just enter if you don't have an appointment!"
The person at the front desk immediately stood up and stopped Noah.
"I'm looking for Amanda." Noah spoke.
"You're looking for Amanda?"
The front desk looked Noah up and down with a hint of caution.
"Yes, he told me a couple of days ago that he wanted to sell me some financial products. He said that your company's interest rates are very high and will multiply tenfold after a year! I brought all the money with me, exactly one million. I'm ready to use it to buy your company's financial products."
Noah grinned, his eyes gleaming with greed, as if he could already see that one million turning into ten million after a year.
The person at the front desk also smiled when she saw Noah's greedy gaze.
"Sir, if purchase our financial product, we guarantee that you will live in a villa within a year! You might even get twenty times your money back!"
"Oh, that's great! Quick, get me to Amanda, I want to sign the contract!" Noah's smile remained on his face, as if he couldn't contain his excitement.
"Please go upstairs, Amanda is waiting for you in the third-floor reception room!" The person at the front desk reached out and gestured for Noah to go upstairs.
Noah walked upstairs with his hands behind his back, and Ethan followed closely behind.
"Huh..."
The person at the front desk secretly breathed a sigh of relief as she saw Noah go upstairs.
In recent times, Oceanbridge City had been cracking down very strictly on crime and black markets. Every few days, the police would come for surprise inspections, making her paranoid, almost mistaking customers for the police.
She smiled with joy. If this customer really bought one million worth of financial products, she, as the receptionist, would also be able to receive around fifty thousand as a bonus.
Multiplying one million by ten or twenty... how could good fortune like that exist in this world?
Following that, she walked out and saw a BMW M4 parked in front of the company gate. Her eyes couldn't help but light up. She went back and picked up her phone, dialing a number:
"Amanda, a client has come upstairs. He's a big fat pig with a million dollars! But I have a feeling he has more than just that money. He came in a BMW M4, so his assets must be at least four or five million."
"Alright, take care of the reception work. You're doing well, and if we can close this big fat pig deal, you'll be rewarded handsomely!" said a voice.
"Thank you, Amanda!" the receptionist exclaimed excitedly.
