Chapter 151 The Majestic Suite
Isaiah was from a well-off family. Her father owned a chain supermarket and had opened a new CR Vanguard Supermarket near Fortune Plaza so she could manage it and cultivate her abilities.
"Why didn't I see you when I went to your supermarket that day, Isaiah?" Lily spoke up. "I wanted to congratulate you. You're a boss now."
"I had something to attend to that day, so I went to talk to the supplier about business. That's why I wasn't there," Isaiah said with a smile.
"Tsk tsk tsk, you’re such a busy person, my best friend. You have your own supermarket now and have become a little rich woman!" Lily pouted her cherry lips.
"haha, you’re even richer! Your father is Kyle," Isaiah chimed in, then continued, "Lily, I’ve learned a lot about society from running this supermarket."
"Oh? What have you learned?" Lily asked curiously.
"Different people thrive on different things. There are truly all kinds of people in this society," Isaiah said.
"You know what? On the day my supermarket just opened, we had a free tasting event. But I never expected that someone would come and steal food!"
"Oh wow, really?" Lily's eyes widened.
Disdain appeared in Isaiah's eyes. "Yes, and the person who stole the food was a young man who was perfectly capable. I really can't understand why someone like him, who has hands and feet, wouldn't just go out and work instead of resorting to such immoral actions like stealing food.
"What's even more shameless is that after he stole the food, he had the audacity to ask if there were any non-spicy options! Can you believe it? What kind of person does that?"
Lily's gaze shifted as she said, "Isaiah, your supermarket was offering a free tasting event, so maybe that person just wanted to try the food before buying!"
"No way! That guy looked poor. He was even riding a rusty bicycle and wearing slippers with baggy pants! The imported corn on the Cob and Caesar Salad were priced at $500 per pound and clearly displayed. How could that poor guy afford it?" Isaiah shook her head.
"Bicycle? Slippers? Baggy pants?"
Lily's eyes flashed, and instantly, an image of Noah appeared in her mind.
Could he have stolen the food?
Immediately, Lily shook her head. It couldn't be Noah. Although he didn't have much money, he seemed to have good manners and wouldn't do something immoral like stealing food.
"I heard you just got a boyfriend, Lily. How is he? Is he handsome? Does he come from a wealthy family?" Isaiah changed the subject.
"In terms of looks, he's alright," Lily said. "I'm not sure about his family background."
"haha, I guess you’re keeping it a secret from me," Isaiah grumbled. "I wonder which rich kid your boyfriend is. But there aren't many who can match up with you throughout the entire East Sea."
"Gideon said he wanted to buy you a meal. Aren't you afraid that bringing your boyfriend along will make Gideon mad? Besides, the Majestic Suite is not cheap. Even a plate of vegetarian food costs several hundred dollars," Isaiah continued.
"It's his own problem if he gets mad. He invited me out for a meal, and I brought my boyfriend along. So what? If he gets upset, I'll just leave. I'll be happy to have one less fly buzzing around me," Lily replied.
Her gaze shifted to the side, where she saw a young man slowly riding his bicycle.
"Noah!"
Lily's eyes brightened as she pointed to Noah. "Isaiah, that's my boyfriend."
Isaiah followed her finger and looked over, only to be dumbfounded.
"Lily, are you... are you sure about this?"
Isaiah's eyes widened, and his mouth formed an "O" shape.
"You’re saying this poor guy is your boyfriend? Impossible! Why would you choose him as your boyfriend? He was the one who stole the snacks in my supermarket!"
"What? He was the one who stole the snacks?"
Lily was also shocked and shook her head, saying, "Impossible. Noah is a good guy. How could he steal anything? Maybe he was just tasting them!"
"Tasting? Those snacks cost 500 dollars per catty. Can a guy on a bicycle afford that? And he shamelessly asked if there were any non-spicy ones!" Isaiah said.
"Why didn't that guy ride his bicycle over here? Instead, he rode it to the parking lot. That parking lot is for cars, not bicycles!"
"I don't know either," Lily spoke, watching Noah pedal his bicycle to the parking lot.
"haha, I figured it out. He's probably embarrassed!"
Isaiah sneered, "Can a poor guy like him afford the Majestic Suite? He rode a bicycle here, what a joke! That poor guy has some self-awareness if he’s hiding his ride."
...
Noah rode his bicycle to the Majestic Suite. Originally, he planned to park it by the road, but then he thought, what if it gets stolen?
So, he decided to ride his bicycle to the parking lot.
"Sir, our parking lot is only for customers at the Majestic Suite, and bicycles are not allowed."
As soon as the bicycle reached the entrance of the parking lot, the security guard stopped him.
The security guard looked Noah up and down, as if he was looking at a fool.
Who would ride a bicycle into a parking lot?
"I’m a super member of The Majestic Suite. Shouldn't it be alright to park my bicycle?" Noah said casually.
"Super member?"
The security guard was stunned, then he laughed, "Sir, could you please stop joking with me? Super members are the highest level members of our hotel. They must spend at least millions of dollars at the Majestic Suite each year to become a super member."
"Our super members drive Range Rovers, Panameras, Lamborghinis, and at the very least, Passats. But we have never seen someone like you, riding a bicycle."
The security guard had a polite smile on his face, but his eyes were full of disdain.
"Since you don't believe that I’m a super member, give me your manager's number. I’ll talk to him personally," Noah said casually.
"Why bother the manager with such a thing? Give me your phone number, and I’ll check it for you." The security guard said.
Noah gave him his phone number.
The security guard immediately went to the security booth and turned on the computer. After he typed in the phone number, a golden message appeared on the screen.
"Noah, Supreme VIP Member! At The Majestic Suite, members can enjoy free parking and a 30% discount..."
"Oh, he’s really a super member!"
The security guard was dumbfounded, his face filled with disbelief.
"Sir, I'm sorry, I-I-"
He rushed out, nodding and bowing to Noah, even stuttering as he spoke.
If the higher-ups heard that he had offended a super member, he would lose his job.
"Let me in, I'm in a hurry," Noah said nonchalantly. He couldn't be bothered to argue with a security guard; after all, every industry had its difficulties.
"Okay, okay!"
The security guard pressed a button, and the barrier lifted.
