Chapter 329 Premiere
"Alright, since I'm a Diamond member, can you make sure my stay is comfortable by kicking them out?" Noah's gaze fell on the young man.
"Of course!" The receptionist nodded and looked at the young man with a smile. "Sir, the presidential suite is fully booked today, so we can't accommodate you. However, we do have three standard rooms available if you'd like."
"Standard rooms?" The young man's eyes widened. "I'm from the Jennings family. How could I possibly stay in a standard room? Let's go!"
With that, he wrapped his arm around the woman and headed out of the hotel.
"The Jennings family?" Noah rubbed his chin. If he remembered correctly, there was indeed a family in Silverlight City called the Jennings family.
But this family was similar to the second-tier families in Oceanbridge City, nowhere near the level of the elite families.
Noah didn't dwell on it and returned to the presidential suite with Clementine.
After lunch, Clementine started her live stream, mainly performing classical dance. She placed her phone on the living room table and had already changed into a long dress.
"Mr. Anderson, it's my first live stream, and I'm a bit nervous."
Clementine opened the camera and glanced at Noah, who was sitting on the sofa.
"Don't worry, you'll get used to it. Besides, you're so beautiful that even if you're nervous, the viewers won't mind," Noah said with a smile. He opened the Facebook Live app, and there was a banner on the homepage promoting Clementine's live stream.
#Classical Dance Goddess Clementine joins Facebook Live! Tune in at 1 PM!
The live stream hadn't started yet, but tens of thousands of viewers had already joined, and the comments were flooding in.
[Clementine? Never heard of her.]
[She's a popular influencer in Imperial State!]
[She's incredibly beautiful, like an angel, and her dancing is amazing!]
[Facebook Live is really stepping up its game, bringing in another top influencer!]
[Surpassing Fox Teeth and Douyu is just a matter of time!]
[Influencers are just playthings for the rich.]
[Some wealthy guy will probably send Clementine millions in gifts, and after the stream, she'll go straight to the hotel with him!]
The comments were a mixed bag, with all sorts of opinions. Ignoring the comments, Noah thought Clementine's inherent popularity was impressive, and signing her was a smart move.
Two golden treasure maps appeared in the live stream.
[Wow, someone sent treasure maps even before the stream started!]
[The username is The man in the wind!]
[Impressive!]
[Two thousand dollars! That's some serious money!]
Not just treasure maps, but also rockets, shark balls, and glow sticks were flooding the live stream.
"Clementine, it looks like your fans are really supportive. I estimate the gifts so far are worth around four thousand dollars," Noah said to Clementine with a smile.
"So generous!" Clementine exclaimed, her mouth wide open in surprise. She hadn't expected her fans to be so lavish.
Of course, this was partly due to Clementine's own popularity, but also because Facebook Live was no longer a small streaming platform. It had millions of daily active users and was firmly positioned as the third-largest streaming platform.
"Mr. Anderson, I've set up everything. I'm ready to start the stream," Clementine said nervously.
"Alright." Noah nodded.
Clementine tapped the screen, and the camera turned on, her image instantly appearing in the live stream.
[An angel!]
[Beautiful! So beautiful! Send gifts!]
The viewers went wild upon seeing Clementine. Glow sticks, shark balls, rockets, and other gifts filled the screen.
Clementine was stunned. She hadn't even spoken yet and had already received so many gifts, making her feel overwhelmed.
Two more treasure maps appeared!
"Thank you, The man in the wind, for the two treasure maps," Clementine said shyly, mimicking other streamers.
"Thank you, The world's most handsome, for the two rockets."
"Thank you, Very Satisfied, for the ninety-nine glow sticks. Thank you!"
Clementine thanked each viewer individually.
Noah watched quietly from the side. With such a successful debut, he was confident that Clementine would soon become a top-tier streamer, and everyone in Eagleland would know her name.
And Clementine was someone Noah had personally signed and nurtured. When that day came, Noah would feel a great sense of accomplishment.
'She's worth the money!' Noah thought to himself.
Suddenly, his phone rang. He picked it up and saw it was Atticus calling.
"Mr. Anderson, it's Atticus," Atticus said respectfully.
"What's up?" Noah asked.
"I heard from Xavier that you went to Silverlight City. When did you arrive?" Atticus asked curiously.
"Last night."
"And your purpose is..." Atticus probed.
"To deal with the Harris family and eliminate the Murphy family," Noah said calmly.
On the other end of the line, Atticus gasped in shock.
"Mr. Anderson, the Harris family is one of the three major families in the eastern part of Eagleland, just like our Moore family. As for the Murphy family, they are the remnants of Roy, a major figure in Oceanbridge City from the last century, and their underworld forces are highly influential throughout the eastern part of Eagleland."
"Both of these forces are formidable. Mr. Anderson, going after them might not be wise."
"Why? The Harris family disrupted my business, and the Murphy family nearly assassinated me. Is it still unwise to go after them?" Noah frowned.
Atticus's face changed. He hadn't realized Noah had such deep grudges with these two families.
After a moment of silence, Atticus spoke solemnly, "Mr. Anderson, I am the director of the financial management center in the eastern part of Eagleland, all thanks to your family. If you need my help, just let me know."
"Given the Moore family's status, is it difficult to eliminate these two families?" Noah asked.
"Yes, and it's extremely difficult," Atticus replied seriously. "These two families are on par with my family. It would be impossible for the Moore family alone to eliminate one of them."
"Unless we join forces with the White family from Emerald State, but even then, it would be challenging to take down both families."
"These families are deeply rooted. To eliminate them quickly is impossible. It would take at least ten years of economic, market, and talent suppression to have a sixty percent chance of success."
Atticus's voice grew more serious. "Mr. Anderson, the Harris family and the Murphy family have been around for over a century, especially the Harris family, which dates back to the early 1900s. Their foundations are incredibly deep."
"Mr. Anderson, can you imagine how terrifying these families are now?"
