Chapter 246 Deputy Financial Manager Kenneth
"Breaking and entering?" The four security guards turned their icy stares on George and Jasmine. "Don't worry, I'll toss them out right now!"
With that, the guards grabbed the two and started dragging them towards the villa's entrance.
"Let go of me!" Jasmine shouted.
"Noah, how dare you treat me like this!" George cursed.
Despite their struggles, they couldn't break free.
After kicking them out, Noah returned to the villa and headed to Daniel's room.
"Cut the act. They're gone," Noah said, glancing at Daniel, who lay motionless on the bed.
Daniel shot up, glaring at Noah. "Noah, what did you mean by that? You said you're the head of the family. What does that make me?"
"I meant exactly what I said. I'm not explaining it again," Noah replied coolly, "And by the way, that golden bull and five-clawed dragon are mine. Since you put them in the living room, keep them there. Don't take them back to your room."
"Noah, you think you can order me around?" Daniel retorted, not backing down. "You tell me to leave them there, so I just follow that?"
Noah couldn't be bothered to argue. "I'll say it one more time. Those are my things. They stay where I lay them. If you take them back again, you'll be out of this villa just like George."
With that, Noah turned and left the room, hands clasped behind his back.
"Damn it!" Daniel's face was filled with anger. He knew Noah wasn't joking. If he took the golden bull and dragon back to his room, he'd definitely be thrown out.
In a rage, he cursed repeatedly, "Damn it! Damn it! That bastard is getting more and more disrespectful!"
The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. He felt a rush of blood to his head and his eyes dulled.
Daniel collapsed onto the bed, this time genuinely unconscious.
"Dad! Dad!" Lisa screamed, quickly dialing 911.
Noah washed up and went to bed. The next morning, Timothy sent over a document, which was exactly a development plan for Evergreen Market for the next three months.
"Got it," Noah replied, "I'll arrange for you to continue leading at Evergreen Market. Also, I suggest you replace the management team."
"Understood, Mr. Anderson. The first thing I'll do is replace the management team. Also, we'll need over a hundred million dollars to revive the supermarket," Timothy responded immediately.
"Tell me how much you need, and I'll have the company finance handle it. Remember what I said before," Noah instructed.
"Don't worry, there won't be any embezzlement," Timothy promised.
"Good," Noah responded.
After replying, Noah got up for breakfast and then drove to Facebook Live.
The company had hired a large quantity of staffs, including moderators and tech personnel. The atmosphere was vibrant and positive, thanks to the new owner's ambitious goal: going public within a year.
Most people thought it was impossible, but Facebook Live had been aggressively recruiting top streamers, and viewership had increased four or five times. They were starting to make a name for themselves in the streaming world.
This gave the employees a glimmer of hope. They assumed Facebook Live might be able to go public within a year.
"Mr. Anderson!" The finance manager approached Noah as soon as he arrived. "The deputy manager I mentioned is in the office."
Noah nodded and entered the office.
A middle-aged man with thick glasses and thinning hair, around fifty years old, sat in the chair.
"This is Deputy Manager Kenneth," the finance manager introduced.
"Mr. Anderson!" Kenneth stood up, looking a bit nervous. He had heard that the new boss was transferring him to another department, but he didn't know which one. He was worried Noah might sideline him.
"What's your accounting certification level?" Noah asked as he sat down.
"I'm a senior accountant with about ten years of experience in auditing and computerized accounting," Kenneth replied honestly.
Noah nodded, "I'm transferring you to a supermarket chain in Oceanbridge City with over a hundred stores. Your job will be to manage the supermarket's finances and oversee the department heads. This supermarket, like Facebook Live, needs to go public within a year."
Kenneth and the finance manager were both taken aback. They hadn't expected Noah to be so ambitious, aiming to take two companies public within a year.
It would be a challenging task with many obstacles.
"What do you think of this? Feel like confident??" Noah asked.
"Yes!" Kenneth replied firmly.
Being transferred to manage the supermarket's finances meant a higher position and better pay. If Kenneth could stay at Facebook Live, he might remain a deputy manager for the next three or four years because the higher positions were already filled. But at the new company, he could become the finance manager.
Noah smiled and continued, "Good. I have only one request: work boldly for me. Money is not an issue. Don't think about embezzling. If you need money, just ask me. If you perform well, houses, luxury cars, and shares are all possible. Understand?"
"Understood!" Kenneth said, trembling with excitement. He didn't doubt Noah's words. He believed Noah had the capability and resources to back them up, as long as he did his job well.
Even the finance manager looked at Kenneth with envy. Kenneth was clearly being valued by Noah.
"I'll give you the address of the supermarket headquarters. Report there and find a guy named Timothy," Noah said, giving Kenneth the address and patting him on the shoulder. "If you have any problems, contact me. If money can solve it, it's not a problem. The supermarket went bankrupt for certain reasons, so your task is heavy. Work hard!"
Noah's words made Kenneth's eyes shine with determination. He felt like he was full of energy and ready to conquer the world.
