Chapter 114 Kid, Aren't You Going to Bow?

"What's the big deal? Don't you know I'm having dinner with Ethan?" Nathan frowned.

The door of the private room opened, and Gary stood outside, panicking.

"Nathan, a kid downstairs who attacked us. We’ve all been injured!"

Bang!

Nathan slammed his hand on the table in anger.

"What kind of ignorant kid dares to attack my people?"

He stood up and smiled flatteringly at Ethan.

"Ethan, go on and eat. I'll go down and handle this. I'll be back soon."

"Go ahead!" Ethan took another sip of his drink.

"Alright!"

Nathan nodded and quickly walked downstairs, where he saw all his henchmen lying injured on the ground, howling. Anger sparked in his eyes, and a chilling aura emanated from him.

"Nathan, he injured us." Gary pointed at Noah.

"Kneel down, kid!"

Nathan glared icily at Noah.

"I'm in a good mood right now. If you kneel and apologize to each of my brothers three times, I'll let this matter go."

The henchmen immediately became disgruntled.

"How can you be like this, Nathan?"

"Yeah, three bows are too cheap for that guy!"

"I don't want him to bow. Cut off both his hands!"

"That's right, we can't endure this. You need to cut off his hands!"

"Three bows are too cheap for him!"

They spoke out one after another, gritting their teeth and glaring at Noah.

"Am I the boss or not?!"

Nathan shouted sternly, casting a cold glance at his henchmen.

"I was upstairs in the private room with Ethan discussing business. If I chopped off this guy's hands, what would Ethan think when he sees the blood downstairs and gets upset?"

"Yeah, Ethan is upstairs!"

"If he sees the blood, Ethan might not be pleased."

The men finally realized and could only compromise.

"This guy is fortunate that Ethan is here. He can kneel and we'll let this go for today. Chopping off his hands and seeing blood would bring bad luck to Ethan."

"Why don't you kneel, kid?"

Nathan glared at Noah angrily. "I've given you enough chances. According to my usual rules, I would chop off both your hands!"

Noah suddenly seemed to think of something when he heard Nathan’s words and calmly said, "One of your men touched Luna's wrist. My original intention was to chop off his hand, but I don’t want to see blood either.

"Alright, here's the deal. You, and all of your men should kneel to me three times, and I won't pursue this matter any further."

Noah raised his hand and pointed at Gary, then pointed at everyone, including Nathan.

Once he said that, the entire restaurant fell silent.

Following that, laughter started to resonate, filled with surprise and mockery.

"Haha! Kid, are you insane? You want all of us to kneel to you?"

"Arrogant kid!"

"Kid, I can bring a lot of people here with just one phone call." Nathan held his belly, laughing hysterically.

"And now, I’m Ethan's man. You want me and my men to kneel to you? Are you an idiot?"

"Maybe you don't know who Ethan is. He's the boss of the slums, and he has hundreds of subordinates. You’re insulting Ethan by asking me to kneel to you. You must have a death wish,"

"Yeah, the kid is daydreaming!"

The big men followed with mockery as well.

"Are you saying none of you are planning to kneel?" Noah's gaze suddenly turned icy.

"You’re the one who should kneel, kid!" Nathan shouted coldly.

As soon as he finished speaking, a dark figure reached him. It was Noah.

He raised his right leg and viciously hit Nathan's lower abdomen with his knee.

Nathan was sent flying, crashing into the wall.

Wow!

He spewed a mouthful of blood, mixed with gastric acid, the hot pot he had just eaten, and Lafite wine.

However, it wasn't over yet. Noah took another step and was now in front of Nathan.

He extended his fair left hand, grabbed Nathan's hair, and forcefully pulled it down, following up with another knee strike!

The knee strike hit Nathan's forehead.

Nathan felt dizzy. A surge of force rushed into his head, causing blood to flow from his nostrils, ears, and eye sockets.

"Ahh!"

He cried out in anguish.

"If you don't want to kneel, then I'll make you!" Noah smirked coldly, raising his knee.

"What's going on? What’s all this noise?" Just then, a voice came from behind. "Nathan, a little punk like him shouldn't be a problem for you. How can I trust you to be under my command if you're like this?"

"Ethan!"

Nathan's eyes lit up, and he quickly shouted toward the stairs, "Ethan, please help me!"

When Noah heard Ethan's voice, his lips curled into a cold smile, and he released his grip, letting go of Nathan.

"Ethan!"

"Ethan!"

Nathan ran toward the stairs, but stumbled and fell on the steps, crawling up like a dying dog.

"Ethan, save me!"

He looked up and saw Ethan already heading downstairs.

"What happened? Who dared to lay a hand on you?" Ethan became furious when he saw Nathan's face covered in blood. The newcomer he had just recruited had been beaten up and was covered in blood; someone was disrespecting Ethan.

"Ethan, that guy is downstairs!"

Nathan trembled as he spoke, "He not only injured everyone, but also made us kneel to him! It's fine for us to kneel, but he’s insulting you!"

"I'll go down and take a look."

Ethan's face darkened, and he walked downstairs, shouting coldly, "Who dares to insult Ethan?"

"It's me," said a calm voice.

Ethan followed the voice and saw a young man standing with his hands behind his back, expressionless as he looked at him.

Ethan froze in place.

"Ethan, it's him!"

Nathan climbed down again and pointed at Noah, fiercely saying, "Ethan, get someone to get rid of this guy."

"...Noah." Ethan looked at Noah, his voice trembling as he muttered.

"Ethan, why aren’t you calling for backup?" Nathan urged loudly as he saw Ethan standing still.

As soon as Nathan finished speaking, Ethan lifted his foot and kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying away.

"Ethan, why... why did you hit me?"

Nathan was dumbfounded.

Without even looking at Nathan, Ethan walked up to Noah, putting on a smile.

"Noah, this... this whole incident had nothing to do with me. I had no idea they disrespected you. I just came here to have a meal."

"I know this has nothing to do with you," Noah said calmly.

Ethan felt relieved and thought to himself that Noah was reasonable.

And then, Noah spoke again. "But it seems like you have a lot of money now. Last time I saw you, you were wearing Armani shirts and a Longines watch when you moved. And today, I see you wearing Louis Vuitton, a Rolex, and an Audi A4. It hasn't been long since I gave you the responsibility of handling the compensation work, and yet you've made so much money."
