Chapter 262: Get Out Now?

"Noah..."

Anna looked at Noah, her expression complex, with a hint of anger in her eyes.

She had a good impression of Noah, but now, that impression vanished instantly.

Because Noah was a liar, a complete liar from start to finish!

The car wasn't bought with his own money.

The Armani wasn't bought with his own money, but with the money from 'I Am a Tycoon'.

If he lied about these things, then his claims about not being a delivery boy and being from Riverton were obviously lies too.

"He might indeed be as Zack said, originally just a delivery boy, a person at the bottom of society..."

Disappointment welled up in her heart.

It wasn't that Anna looked down on people at the bottom of society; she despised Noah for lying.

"I didn't expect you to be a liar!"

Riley sighed, her gaze towards Noah turning cold:

"Noah, I didn't expect someone as young as you to lie! You even deceived me by claiming to own property in Riverton! For a delivery boy, owning a piece of toilet in Riverton would be impressive!"

"I even thought of making you Anna's boyfriend."

"Mom, it's over, don't say anymore." Anna shook her head, utterly disappointed in Noah.

"The file says Noah struggled to get an invitation to a high-society event at Royal Gardens." Danielle stroked his chin and said:

"Clearly, Noah has a desire to climb into high society. But he doesn't understand that in high society, money alone isn't enough; you also need industry and heritage."

"This Noah, with just ten million, dreams of entering high society. It's obviously a fool's dream."

"But he has already deluded himself into thinking he's part of high society, hence fabricating lie after lie to make us regard him highly."

Zack looked coldly at Noah and said loudly:

"Noah, your deceitful tricks have been exposed by me. Do you have anything to say now?"

Anna sighed: "Noah, perhaps your logistics cooperation idea was indeed to gather delivery boys and seek logistics help to deliver food!"

"But Noah, why did you lie to me? Wouldn't it be better to tell the truth? I wouldn't look down on you for being honest."

"But why did you lie to me? One lie after another, about the car, the clothes, the delivery job..."

The more she spoke, the more upset Anna became.

Being deceived felt terrible.

Noah smiled faintly. He didn't care to explain to these people.

But since Anna had the intention to help him with logistics cooperation, he decided to speak:

"Miss Anna, I didn't lie to you."

Noah's sincere gaze made Anna pause, feeling that this young man was trustworthy.

"Noah, did you really not lie to me?"

Anna bit her lip, looking at Noah with wide eyes.

Thinking back, she felt that someone who would act bravely must have good character.

Would someone with such good character lie?

"No." Noah replied.

"Hahaha, Noah, even now, you still deny it!" Zack laughed:

"Anna has little social experience, so you can deceive her. But with the evidence right here, do you think your words alone can clear your name?"

"Alright, Noah, please leave my house. The Edward Family does not welcome liars." Danielle said coldly.

"Noah, you should go."

Riley added immediately: "You have a serious character flaw. I despise liars the most. After you leave the Edward Family, I advise you not to contact my daughter Anna or disturb her life. If I find out, I will not be kind to you."

"Mom, why don't you let Noah explain!" Anna tugged at Riley's sleeve: "I have a feeling Noah isn't a liar."

"A feeling? The evidence is right here, does your feeling matter?" Riley sneered:

"Moreover, Noah admitted he participated in 'I Am a Tycoon', and Thomas is indeed the journalist filming him. The file even has his photos! So, what else could Noah be but a liar?"

"I even suspect the thief at Fortune Plaza was arranged by Noah to stage a rescue and get close to you, thus climbing the Edward Family's social ladder."

"Alright, enough talking!" Danielle was impatient, waving his hand:

"Is it worth spending so much time on a lowly person? Anna, you are not to contact this boy again."

Then he looked at Noah with a cold gaze:

"And you, Noah, I will forgive your deception of Anna this time. But from now on, you are not to contact Anna or disturb her life. Someone like you doesn't even deserve to step into the Edward Family, understand?"

"Dreaming of entering high society, do you even know what you are? Do you have the means?"

"Enough, I've said my piece. Noah, get out now!"

Noah shook his head slightly: "I intended to explain and clarify, but since you say this, I can't be bothered."

With that, Noah turned and walked out of the villa.

"Noah!"

Anna shouted: "If you want to explain, then explain! Don't leave! I don't believe you're a liar!"

Danielle grabbed Anna and sneered:

"Explain? What's there to explain? The evidence is conclusive; this boy is a liar!"

"But... I just feel something is wrong. Noah isn't like that." Anna was anxious.

"Miss Anna, you're too naive, easily deceived by his sweet words." Zack smiled:

"If you still don't believe, look at this evidence again. There are photos, texts, and videos. While I, Zack, may be a bit of a playboy, I'm not unreasonable. Noah is indeed a liar."

Saying this, Zack took out his phone again.

"Look again, to avoid wronging an innocent person."

Danielle and Riley also looked over.

Just then, Zack's Facebook notification sounded.

Zack was stunned: "How is this possible!"

A message appeared:

"You have been removed from the group chat (I Am a Tycoon Sponsors)!"

"No... It can't be, I've been kicked out of the group!"

Zack's face turned ugly, quickly searching for a contact with a shark avatar.

That was a high-ranking person in Shark Live, also the group owner.

Other sponsors had added him as a friend, and he was the group owner.
