Chapter 275: Magnanimity
"What, is it so hard for you to admit that I'm the Shark Live boss?" Noah looked at them playfully.
Both of them were so frightened their legs went weak, their hearts pounding.
Norman was the first to react. He took a deep breath, suppressing his shock, and smiled apologetically:
"I never expected, truly never expected, that the delivery boy my nephew spoke of, the bottom-level poor guy, would turn out to be the powerful Shark Live boss! We misjudged you!"
"Noah, Zack was disrespectful to you before. Please forgive him!"
Norman nodded and bowed.
Now that Noah's identity was confirmed, there was no point in being shocked.
These emotions were useless.
What needed to be done now was to salvage Noah's impression of Zack and win Noah's favor.
Because Norman knew that this Noah was someone they absolutely could not afford to offend!
"Forgive?"
Noah's eyes turned cold:
"Do you think a simple apology can erase everything that happened? Your nephew has mocked and insulted me many times. I, Noah, am not a magnanimous person. I won't forget such things."
Hearing this, Norman and Zack turned pale.
Norman's eyes darted around, and then he gritted his teeth and suddenly raised his hand!
Slap!
He slapped Zack hard across the face.
"Zack, what are you standing there for! Apologize to Noah!" Norman shouted:
"You short-sighted fool, daring to offend Noah! Because of you, our sponsorship of 'I Am a Tycoon' failed!"
"Uncle..."
Zack was dumbfounded. He opened his mouth, not expecting Norman to suddenly hit him.
Slap!
"Apologize now!"
Norman slapped him again.
Zack gasped in pain. His cheeks burned, swelling and turning red.
The two slaps snapped him out of his shock.
The past events didn't matter; thinking about them was useless.
Because the facts had already happened. No matter how unbelievable it was, Noah was indeed sitting in the Shark Live boss's chair!
His words could decide whether the Anthony Family could continue sponsoring 'I Am a Tycoon.' This was crucial for the Anthony Family's attempt to transition from the traditional steel industry to the modern internet industry.
Traditional industries were tough to manage now, especially steel.
The government was heavily promoting environmental policies, balancing development and environmental protection.
Steel smelting produced a lot of pollution, and environmental agencies frequently inspected the Anthony Family's TerraForge Mining Co.
Several steel smelting plants had already been forced to close due to non-compliance.
Recently, the Anthony Family's performance had not been good, even showing negative growth.
Therefore, the family leadership valued the transition highly.
Sponsoring 'I Am a Tycoon' was an attempt.
If the leadership found out that the Anthony Family was kicked out of the group chat because Zack offended the Shark Live boss, they would be furious!
Zack would be in serious trouble!
So, he had to apologize and make Noah agree to let the Anthony Family sponsor 'I Am a Tycoon' again.
"Zack, why are you still standing there?"
Seeing Zack still motionless, Norman glared at him, his anger flaring, raising his hand again.
"I'll apologize, I'll apologize!"
Zack snapped out of it and quickly spoke.
He looked at Noah, lowered his head, and said respectfully:
"Noah, I was disrespectful to you before. Please be magnanimous and forgive me this time!"
"Forgiving you is not impossible," Noah said calmly, "but there are conditions."
Noah never took Zack seriously. He only said those words to set conditions.
"What conditions, Noah, just tell us." Norman said immediately:
"As long as you forgive the Anthony Family and allow us to sponsor 'I Am a Tycoon' again, we'll agree to any conditions, as long as the Anthony Family can do it."
Norman smiled, showing his willingness to comply.
Noah ignored Norman's ulterior motives and said:
"My condition is simple. In the future, I want to establish a logistics cooperation with the Winchester Family in Oceanbridge City, but they have been reluctant to agree. I need the Anthony Family to help mediate and speak on my behalf. After all, you are familiar with each other as part of the four great families."
Hearing this condition, both men breathed a sigh of relief.
"Noah, don't worry, this is a small matter!" Norman said with a smile.
"Yes, just a minor task." Zack also laughed:
"That day at Royal Gardens, Gideon was disrespectful to you. If he knew your identity, he would probably beg to cooperate with you without any trouble."
"Keep my identity a secret for now," Noah waved his hand, "If I need help, I'll come to you."
"Alright!"
Both men said in unison.
"By the way, Noah, about the Anthony Family sponsoring 'I Am a Tycoon'..."
Norman began.
"You can continue sponsoring. Nathan, add them back to the group later." Noah said calmly.
"Yes, Noah." Nathan nodded.
Hearing this, Zack and Norman were overjoyed. They didn't expect Noah to be so agreeable.
Now they could return to the Anthony Family and report this to the leadership.
"One more thing," Noah looked at Zack:
"At the Royal Villas, about what happened at the Edward Family's villa, I hope you explain it to Anna when you return. You should know what to say."
"I understand, I understand!"
Zack said with a smile.
"Alright, that's all. You can go now."
Noah said calmly.
Zack and Norman exchanged glances and then said to Noah:
"Then we'll take our leave, Noah."
They left respectfully.
Outside Shark Live, Norman sighed:
"I didn't expect Noah to be the Shark Live boss. And currently, not many people know this. The other three great families probably don't either. The Anthony Family is the first to know Noah's identity. If we build a good relationship with him during this time, it could bring great benefits to the Anthony Family in the future."
"Indeed!"
Zack nodded: "I didn't expect it either! When I saw the chair turn around and Noah sitting there, I almost fell over. Considering the grudges between us, it was shocking."
"But he let bygones be bygones and allowed the Anthony Family to sponsor 'I Am a Tycoon' again. I admire such magnanimity, something I, Zack, don't possess."
Zack's words were sincere.
"Alright, let's go back and report this to the leadership." Norman smiled:
"The Anthony Family can sponsor 'I Am a Tycoon' again, thanks to Noah! It also removes a burden from our minds."
