Chapter 270: The Anderson Family Company

"Gideon, why did Noah hit you?"

The middle-aged noblewoman asked again.

Her name was Lillian, Gideon's mother, and the head of the Winchester Family!

Three years ago, Gideon's father passed away due to illness, leaving the entire Winchester Family under Lillian's control.

Lillian had a background in e-commerce and was highly experienced in this field.

The Winchester Family's e-commerce industry owes much of its current status to Lillian's efforts.

She was a calm and composed woman, so upon learning that Gideon had been beaten, her first action was not to retaliate against Noah but to wait for Gideon to wake up and personally inquire about the incident.

After all, the Winchester Family was one of the four major families in Oceanbridge City. Anyone daring to lay a hand on Gideon must have some background; otherwise, they wouldn't have done something so foolish.

"Mom, that Noah wanted to discuss a logistics cooperation with our Winchester Family," Gideon said through gritted teeth.

"Discuss cooperation?"

Lillian was taken aback. "Even if it's about cooperation, there's no need to beat you like this!"

"Mom, you don't understand. That Noah is just a poor delivery guy!" Gideon sneered.

"His so-called logistics cooperation is just gathering a bunch of delivery guys in Oceanbridge City to form a company, using our Winchester Family's logistics to deliver their takeout, and then giving us a share of the profits."

"Even if he gathers two thousand delivery guys, the most they can generate for our Winchester Family is two thousand bucks a day."

Lillian nodded, understanding immediately. "Our Winchester Family's logistics generates hundreds of thousands of profits daily. That little profit is not worth cooperating with him. Moreover, this matter, if spread, could negatively impact our Winchester Family's logistics reputation."

"Exactly, so I refused him on the spot!"

Gideon's eyes suddenly turned resentful.

"Who knew that Noah, being so rude, would get angry when I refused and beat me up in public! The other three families were all present, and I was utterly humiliated!"

Lillian's eyes shifted slightly as she asked, "This Noah, even if rejected, shouldn't have hit you. After all, business is business. Gideon, did you say something insulting to him?"

Lillian understood Gideon's character well. Raised with a silver spoon and pampered by the family elders, he naturally developed an arrogant and domineering personality.

Lillian believed that after Gideon refused, he must have said something offensive!

"Mom, I did insult that kid."

Gideon lowered his head. "But I don't think I was wrong. That kid's so-called Anderson Family Company, does it have the qualifications to cooperate with our Winchester Family?"

"What did you say? The Anderson Family Company?!"

Lillian's expression suddenly turned serious.

"Yes, the Anderson Family Company. What's wrong?" Gideon was puzzled, not understanding why his mother reacted so strongly.

Lillian didn't answer, falling silent with a serious expression.

The Anderson Family Company was a top-tier global company that had emerged recently. Compared to the Winchester Family, it was like a giant to an ant.

This company primarily engaged in overseas logistics.

Recently, there were rumors that the Anderson Family Company was planning a global logistics network, preparing for maritime, land, and air transport.

Logistics companies worldwide were deeply cooperating with the Anderson Family Company, including those in Eagleland.

Lillian had received information that out of the forty-three logistics companies in Starlight City, thirty-eight had already entered into deep cooperation with the Anderson Family Company.

Those companies that had cooperated gained significant benefits, with annual profits increasing by at least five billion!

Such an opportunity tempted Lillian, but so far, no one from the Anderson Family Company had contacted her, so cooperation was out of the question.

"Gideon, are you sure that Noah's group is called the Anderson Family Company?" Lillian asked.

"Yes!" Gideon nodded. "That poor guy said so himself!"

"The Anderson Family Company... Does Noah have any special background?" Lillian asked again.

"That poor guy? What special background could he have? He's just a delivery guy," Gideon laughed.

"When I stayed at the hotel, he was the one who delivered my takeout and begged me for a five-star rating!"

Hearing this, Lillian was somewhat disappointed.

"A delivery guy? Then it's clear he's not from the Anderson Family Company. His surname is Lin, and he named his company that. It must be a random name. I overthought it!"

She looked at Gideon again.

"However, Gideon, I never do anything I'm not sure of. That Noah humiliated you in public, and the Benson Family's security didn't intervene. Clearly, even if he's just a delivery guy, he has some background."

"Revenge is a must, but we can't rush it. We need to investigate Noah's background thoroughly before taking action!"

"Mom, I understand!"

Gideon's eyes lit up. With his mother backing him, revenge on Noah was just a matter of time.

"Good, then continue to recover. I'll arrange for someone to investigate Noah's background now," Lillian said.

"Okay!"

...

Early the next morning, Noah left Summit Retreat Oasis and headed to Shark Live.

He needed to find the financial manager, Nathan, to inquire about Larry's participation in 'I Am a Tycoon.'

Noah's goal was simple: Larry's villa could only be occupied for a week.

Larry had repeatedly mocked Noah, and the money he used to buy the villa was Noah's, yet he treated Noah with disdain.

Noah wasn't a pushover and naturally wouldn't let him off easily.

The second task was to check on how Shark Live was doing, as they had recently recruited two major streamers.

After about half an hour, Noah arrived and parked his car before entering the company.

"Noah!"

Financial manager Nathan had received news of Noah's visit early and was prepared to welcome him.

The two walked to the office, where Noah sat in the chair while Nathan stood respectfully in front of him.

"Noah, here's the recent summary of 'I Am a Tycoon.' Please take a look," Nathan said, handing over a stack of documents.

Noah began to read.

The summary included brief introductions of ordinary people selected for the show and the amounts of money given to them.

The lower part contained information recorded by journalists during their follow-up.

Naturally, Noah's name appeared in the documents, along with records about him.

Larry's name was also there.

Noah quickly skimmed through the other people's information and then focused on his own records.

After two minutes, Noah finished reading his records and smiled silently.

To Sofia, his Armani suit and GMC Sprinter were all bought with the show's money.
