Chapter 178 Sea!
"You ungrateful scoundrels! The Benson Family has supported you for so long, and this is how you treat us?”
Kyle was so angry that his eyes turned red as he cursed at the Benson family bodyguards.
The bodyguards remained silent.
The Benson family has already collapsed. Even someone who wasn’t sane would make the wise choice at this point.
"Kyle," Noah said, shaking off Kyle with a flick of his hand.
Thud!
Noah threw Kyle to the ground like a dead dog.
"Ah! It hurts so much!"
As he hit the ground, Kyle grimaced in pain, his face turning purple.
He already had a gunshot wound in his arm, and the fall made it hurt even more.
"Noah, the Benson family's industries have basically collapsed. How should we handle Kyle?"
Mason stepped forward, casting a sidelong glance at Kyle on the ground.
"Kill him." Noah said calmly, with his hands behind his back.
What?
Kyle and the other managers of the Benson family were stunned.
"You dare kill me, Noah?"
Kyle's face changed drastically, and he shouted, "Killing is illegal, and if you dare to kill me, my father won't let you get away with it!"
Noah didn't speak. He just looked at Kyle with cold eyes.
Mason raised his pistol, aiming at Kyle's forehead. His hands were covered in blood, and taking lives meant nothing to Mason.
As he was about to pull the trigger, suddenly, a shout rang out.
"Who dares touch my son?"
Boom!
Immediately after, the sound of roaring engines filled the air.
Three green off-road vehicles stormed in, their presence overwhelming.
These off-road vehicles were riddled with bullet holes and rust, as if they had experienced many battles.
Before long, the vehicles came to a stop at the entrance of the hall.
Clatter!
One by one, soldiers dressed in combat uniforms, resembling wolves of war, stepped out of the vehicles, surrounding the entire hall.
The sound of guns being cocked resonated continuously through the room.
There were over thirty of them holding weapons, their gun barrels aimed at Noah and Mason, their eyes cold, exuding a strong killing intent!
These people had different appearances, some had blonde hair and blue eyes and looked like foreigners. Others had dark skin and were slightly shorter, resembling people from Vietnam or Myanmar.
But every one of them had cold eyes and a faint aura of killing intent.
They would open fire at just one command!
"Mercenaries?"
Mason furrowed his brow tightly. The killing intent was chilling, and judging from their appearances, they could be from any country. Obviously, they were mercenaries.
He hadn't expected mercenaries to be able to enter Eagleland so openly.
This was going to be trouble!
Creak!
The car door opened, and an old man stepped out from the passenger seat.
This old man had snow-white hair and a face full of wrinkles. He was wearing a plain gray robe, but his gaze was sharp, like a sword, cold and merciless. There was also a chilling aura of killing intent emanating from his entire body, which made people afraid to approach him!
Only someone who had killed many people could possess that aura.
"Dad!"
Kyle's eyes lit up when he saw the elderly man.
The elderly man was none other than Kyle's father, Sea!
He was the founder of the Benson Family and had participated in various significant historical events.
After retiring, he no longer involved himself in family matters and peacefully enjoyed his retirement.
However, Sea still had connections in the Starlight City battle zone and in some foreign countries!
So, as soon as Sea heard that the Benson family was in danger, he immediately contacted the leader of the Wolf Teeth Mercenaries in Eagleland and asked them to send help.
"Kyle, come here."
Sea spoke with a deep voice, showing no expression on his face.
Kyle got up from the ground and clumsily ran to Sea's side. Tears finally flowed uncontrollably when he saw his father.
"Dad, you have to avenge me! I wasn’t just humiliated today. The Benson family has also been greatly insulted!"
Slap!
As Kyle finished speaking, a crisp slap resounded.
Handprints appeared on Kyle's face.
"Why did you hit me, Dad?" Kyle covered his face, unable to believe it.
"I taught you that a man should never shed tears since you were young. Now, you’re crying like a woman just because of a small insult! You're making a fool of me!" Sea furrowed his brow and spoke coldly.
"So what if the Benson family has been insulted? As long as I’m here, anyone who insults the Benson family will face retaliation! What are you afraid of? Why are you crying?"
After hearing those words, Kyle's heart finally settled.
'Yeah, what am I afraid of?
'Noah might have some power, but can he compare to my dad?'
Sea’s influence was not just limited to the battle zone; he also knew many mercenaries on the border!
"You’re right, Father!" Kyle wiped away his tears.
Sea nodded, glanced at Noah disdainfully, and said, "Kyle, tell me the whole story from beginning to end. Although the Benson family may not be as prestigious as some noble families, we are not to be trifled with by some snot-nosed kid!"
"Sure!"
Kyle recounted the whole incident from start to finish.
After he heard the story, Sea's face darkened slightly, and his gaze locked onto Noah.
"You, you're nothing but a worthless bastard. You're already married, and yet you dare to pursue my granddaughter. You also had the audacity to give a gift to the Benson family and then take it back! Are your parents the ones who taught you those manners and values?"
Noah smiled coldly and said, "That rare metal was meant for Lily, not the Benson family. You and your son are quite similar. You both think that my gift belongs to the Benson family."
He shook his head and continued, "You sent the young ones, and now the old ones have come. But what difference does it make? The fate of the Benson family remains unchanged. They will be destroyed."
"You're arrogant, kid!" Sea exclaimed. "You really don't know your place! Now, all of you, bow your heads and kneel! Otherwise, we'll execute you on the spot!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the hired mercenaries, holding their weapons, shouted in various languages.
"Bow your heads quickly!"
"Kneel down!"
"Hurry up!"
The people Mason had brought instantly became displeased.
Although they all had guns, they were ultimately street-smart individuals. How could they dare to confront mercenaries head-on?
These people were experienced in life-or-death situations.
"Why should I kneel?!" one of the henchmen shouted, raising his pistol to shoot.
Bang bang bang!
But as soon as he finished his words, the henchman's eyes rolled back, and he fell to the ground, motionless.
"He's dead just like that?"
"Shoot them without hesitation!"
"It's frightening, these mercenaries just follow orders without caring if it's right or wrong!"
The henchmen's faces turned pale. Cold sweat dripped from their foreheads and they trembled uncontrollably.
Mason looked at Noah with an unpleasant expression.
It would be trouble if the mercenaries came!
"Kneel down, everyone," Noah said calmly. He remained standing himself.
"Kneel down!"
Mason shouted.
The henchmen all knelt down, huddling their heads.
They understood that confronting the mercenaries head-on would be seeking death.
In an instant, only Noah and Mason were left standing.
