Chapter 264

"Hey, is that little brother Noah?"

Larry's gaze shifted, immediately spotting Noah. He waved, "Come over here!"

"Noah's here?" The relatives also turned their attention to Noah.

At this moment, Noah and Lisa had reached the villa entrance.

"Is that Noah?"

"I heard he doesn't have a job!"

"Apparently, he's a loser, without a proper job, living off Lisa's earnings!"

Some relatives, seeing Noah for the first time, pointed and whispered, scrutinizing him.

"This kid, if he were just jobless, that would be one thing!"

Uncle Jake snorted, glaring at Noah with resentment. "He doesn't work, just lazes around at home. While that makes him a waste, it doesn't affect others much!"

"The key issue is that he's rude! My son Mike finally got a job in a public institution, but because this kid caused trouble and disrespected his superiors, my son lost his iron rice bowl!"

"What? There's such a thing?"

"I hadn't heard of that!"

"Didn't expect this kid to be like that, lacking basic manners!"

"You should always be respectful to your superiors!"

The relatives looked at Noah with disdain or sighed in disappointment.

Most of these relatives were from Larry's side.

"Little brother Noah, what do you think of my villa?" Larry pointed to the villa behind him.

"It's just average," Noah said, looking over.

"Average?!"

Uncle Jake's eyes widened. "Noah, aren't you afraid of biting your tongue with that wind? This is Summit Retreat Oasis! And you call it average."

"It is indeed average," Noah said truthfully.

This villa was just a standard detached house, without a garden or pool, and much smaller than Noah's own home. It wasn't even as good as the Edward Family's royal villa.

The high price was likely due to its location in Summit Retreat Oasis. According to Larry, this villa was bought second-hand for over ten million.

"Haha, Noah, do you think that just because you live in that big villa, you can consider yourself rich?" Uncle Lance sneered. "Don't forget, that villa is just company-provided housing for Lisa. You don't even own the property; you're just temporarily staying there!"

"Yes, Noah, Larry's villa has a property deed!" Mike glanced at Noah with disdain. "You might be kicked out of your villa any day!"

"Noah's mindset has changed since moving into the villa, forgetting his loser status!"

"He even dares to call Larry's villa average. If it weren't for Lisa, would he have the right to live in a villa?"

The relatives pointed at Noah and murmured.

"Before you talk about me, why don't you look at the houses you live in?" Noah glanced at the relatives. "Jealousy, my villa is the best in Summit Retreat Oasis. Compared to that, Larry's villa is indeed average. Am I wrong?"

"Besides, most of you live in shabby apartment complexes, and some even in mud houses. What right do you have to talk about me, Noah?"

Hearing this, the relatives' faces changed, unsure how to respond.

Indeed, they were somewhat jealous of Noah living in a villa, which is why they ridiculed him so much. This loser, living in a villa?

Thinking of this, they were all seething with jealousy. But Noah was lucky, living in a villa, which made the relatives very unhappy but helpless.

"And those calling me a loser, haha, I am a loser, but what can you do about it?" Noah grinned. "I'm a loser, but my wife is amazing! She's the head of the slum redevelopment project, earning more in a year than your entire family in several years! No matter what, our family is wealthier than yours!"

"What right do you have to criticize me?"

Hearing this, the relatives' faces turned red with anger, trembling all over.

"Damn, this loser even feels proud of living off his wife!"

"Argh! I'm so angry!"

"This loser is really lucky to have married someone as good as Lisa!"

The crowd gnashed their teeth.

At this moment, another bus arrived.

The door opened, and father-in-law Daniel and mother-in-law Zoe got off, followed by a girl.

The girl was pretty, somewhat resembling Lisa. She was Luna, holding a selfie stick and waving at the screen:

"Bye everyone, I'm off to attend Larry's housewarming and join the banquet!"

It was clear she was live streaming.

After ending the stream, Luna's big eyes scanned the crowd and landed on Noah. She giggled:

"Noah!"

She ran over to Noah.

Two more people got off the bus: a middle-aged man with wrinkles on his face and a young woman in her twenties. They were George and Jasmine.

"Dad!"

Seeing Daniel, Larry immediately went over to greet him and then greeted George:

"Hello, George!"

"Hello, Larry!" George smiled.

Daniel nodded to Larry, hands behind his back, looking at the villa in front of him, praising:

"Larry, you did well, buying a villa in Summit Retreat Oasis! I'm very pleased!"

"I'll be living here from now on!"
