Chapter 295 Nightfall Bar

The bodyguard stared at Noah, fear etched in his eyes.

'No way,' he thought. 'Those three got taken down by Noah in seconds. How could I possibly stand a chance against him?'

"Get lost!" Noah's gaze was icy as he glared at the bodyguard.

"Okay, okay, I'm outta here! I'm outta here!"

The bodyguard, feeling like he'd been given a second chance, quickly turned and bolted.

The other three bodyguards struggled to their feet, leaning on each other as they limped away, looking pretty pathetic.

"Did you really take down those three bodyguards all by yourself?" A girl approached, her big eyes wide with disbelief as she looked Noah up and down.

"If there was no one else, then yeah, it was me," Noah replied with a faint smile, his hands casually behind his back.

This girl had the guts to step in when she saw something wrong, and that earned her some respect from Noah.

"I can't believe it! You're really that strong?" The girl was full of amazement. "Three guys couldn't take you down. If you joined the underworld, with your skills, you'd be a boss in no time."

Noah chuckled. He was already the boss of the underworld in Oceanbridge City.

He then took a closer look at the girl. She had short hair that reached her ears, earrings, and wore a denim jacket open over a green T-shirt that showed off her ample chest.

She had tight pants on, and a faint blue tattoo peeked out from her left wrist, giving her a slightly rebellious vibe.

"Are you involved in the underworld?" Noah asked tentatively.

"You can tell?" The girl patted Noah on the shoulder and laughed. "I'm one of Bodhi's people on Red Flag Road. You've got some skills. Interested in working for Bodhi? He'll make sure you're well taken care of."

Noah didn't know who Bodhi was and had no interest in the underworld, so he shook his head.

"You're passing up a great opportunity!" Daisy's expression changed to one of frustration. "I saw your car. It's just a cheap one, right? Bodhi drives an Audi A6. With your skills, you could be driving a BMW 3 Series in three years. Think about it?"

"No thanks." Noah shook his head.

"You're so unambitious!" Daisy rolled her eyes in disdain. "By the way, I'm Daisy Lynn. What's your name?"

"Noah."

"Noah." Daisy repeated the name, her eyes flickering with thought. She patted Noah on the shoulder again. "Fate brought us together. How about we go to Bodhi's bar for a drink and a chat?"

"Sure." Noah nodded. He had nothing to do if he went home early, so a drink at a bar sounded like a good way to relax.

He had been very busy and was indeed feeling a bit tired.

"Great, let's go!" Daisy's lips curled into a sly smile as she got into Noah's car and sat in the passenger seat.

"The bar is called Nightfall Bar. It's not far, about ten minutes away. Just use the GPS," Daisy said as she fastened her seatbelt.

"Got it," Noah said, turning on the GPS.

"Your car looks pretty ordinary from the outside, but the interior is quite nice!" Daisy remarked as she looked around the car. "These seats are really comfortable, like real leather."

"They are real leather," Noah said as he started the car.

"Yeah, right!" Daisy rolled her eyes. "I don't know much about cars, but this one looks pretty basic. No way it has real leather seats."

Noah just smiled and followed the GPS to Nightfall Bar.

Meanwhile, outside Happy Week.

Wren sat in an Audi A8, talking on the phone, her face full of excitement.

"Dash, it's confirmed. It's the Anderson Group, and the contract is signed!"

"I just looked at the Anderson Group's global logistics overview. It's incredible. This is a global logistics network!"

"If the Winchester family joins this network, our profits will skyrocket! In three or four years, we could surpass the Benson family!"

"Really?" Dash Winchester's voice on the other end was filled with joy. "Great! Wren, you've done something amazing for the Winchester family! Are you sure the contract is all signed?"

"Dash, don't worry. Every page has my signature and stamp. There won't be any mistakes. We just need to wait for the Anderson Group's team to come and start the operation!" Wren said with a smile.

"Great! Great! Great!" Dash said, his excitement palpable. "This logistics partnership is a huge opportunity for our family! The Anderson Group can use our logistics, and we can use theirs!"

"We'll be able to sell our products worldwide and the profits will be substantial! I can say that in the eastern region of Eagleland, we will benefit the most from this partnership!"

"Wren, you've done an excellent job! Tonight, let's gather the family executives and the younger generation for a celebration! This kind of good news must be shared!"

"Alright, I'll arrange it as soon as I get home." Wren nodded.

About ten minutes later, Noah parked the car outside a bar.

"Noah, this is the place!" Daisy said as they got out of the car, pointing to the bar.

"Nightfall Bar," Noah read the sign. It was a small bar, and since it was still afternoon, there weren't many customers.

They entered the bar, which was dimly lit.

Some of the staff greeted Daisy with smiles.

"Daisy, you're here!"

"You're early today!"

Daisy greeted them back and then led Noah to a booth, gesturing for him to sit down. "Noah, wait here for a bit. I'll come find you soon."

"Okay." Noah nodded, and Daisy walked over to the bar.

Behind the bar stood a middle-aged man in a suit and tie, wiping glasses with a white towel. He had a mustache, some wrinkles on his cheeks, and a hint of weariness in his eyes.

"Hey, Bodhi!" Daisy grinned as she approached the man.

This man was Bodhi Cooper, the owner of Nightfall Bar, and he was somewhat well-known on Red Flag Road.

"Daisy, you're here early today!" Bodhi looked at Daisy in surprise, then shook his head with a sigh. "You didn't have to come so early. Our bar is about to go under. I figure Louis's people will be here to cause trouble soon."

"What's there to be afraid of with Louis?" Daisy snorted, then pointed at Noah and whispered, "Bodhi, I brought someone. This guy is really good!"
