Chapter 217 Understand Human Language?
Upon hearing Noah's words, Zachary's face darkened. He looked at Noah and said, "Kid, you're a doctor, so am I a doctor? Even if it's 'first come, first served,' I don't want to do the therapy for her anymore. What can you do to me?"
"Yeah, young man, you need to know when to advance and when to retreat."
The woman also looked at Noah and then removed a jade ring from her finger, handing it to Noah with a hint of mockery in her eyes. She said, "This ring is worth twenty thousand dollars. Take it and let my dad do the therapy first, and you can wait for a while. These twenty thousand dollars should be more than your annual income!"
"Mr. Song, by asking this kid to wait for a while, you're really being too generous with him!" Zachary stared at Noah and said.
The woman shook her head and said, "It's just a jade ring, Zachary. You know I'm in the jewelry business, and I have plenty of these kinds of accessories at home. It's nothing to give one away. If you help my dad with the therapy, I'll give you two gold bricks!"
"Oh really!"
Zachary's eyes lit up. "Mr. Song, don't worry, I will put in twelve times the effort to help the old man with the therapy!"
Zachary knew about Mr. Song's wealth. She owned several jewelry stores and was worth at least fifty million dollars. If she successfully cured her father's stomach cancer, knowing Mr. Song's generous nature, she would definitely give more than two gold bricks.
"Old man, quickly go into the next room! Someone, come and support the old man!" Zachary shouted loudly.
Immediately, two young nurses came over to support the old man.
Noah reached out and stopped them in front of the old man.
"I've said it before, first come first serve. Since we arrived first, we should be the ones to receive the radiation therapy. Don't you understand human language?" Noah's gaze was icy as he looked at Zachary.
Being stared at like this, Zachary trembled all over, feeling as if he was being watched by something terrifying.
He shook his head again, letting out a cold laugh. "Kid, let me make this clear. You can only be second. If you want to play tough, go ahead. I won't help you. You can go to another hospital!"
"Remember, only our family in Oceanbridge City has the rare metal radiation equipment. If you go to another hospital, it's useless. You can only go to other cities in Starlight City! The journey will be bumpy, and who knows, something might happen to your wife along the way."
After saying that, Zachary chuckled again, mistaking Grace for Noah's wife.
"Noah, let's just go second. It won't make a difference." Grace pulled on Noah's clothes.
"Look at your wife, how sensible!" Zachary glanced at Grace.
"I've said it before, first come first serve. The longer we delay, the more severe the patient's condition might become." Noah's expression was unquestionable. "We must go first!"
"Young man, don't push your luck!"
A woman beside them couldn't stand it any longer and cast a sidelong glance at Noah. "I even gave you a jade ring. What's wrong with having us go first? Do you think the jade ring isn't valuable? Not to mention, this radiation treatment requires three to four sessions, totaling tens of thousands of dollars. Do you have that money?"
The woman scrutinized Noah from head to toe. This young man had ordinary attire, completely different from the wealthy. It was likely that he had scraped together his entire savings just to afford this one radiation treatment.
"Mr. Song is right," Zachary agreed. "Kid, you just paid 110,000 for the treatment fee. Look at how much money you have left in your bank account. Five hundred thousand for four sessions, can you afford it? Do you have that money?"
"Remember, radiation treatment must be completed in its entirety for it to be effective. If you stop midway, the cancer cells will continue to spread, and you will still have esophageal cancer."
He looked at Noah and sneered. "The 110,000 you handed over has already emptied your entire savings, right? I advise you to give up treatment and go get a refund now. After all, you can't afford this radiation treatment!"
"Yeah, if you have that money, why not spend it on your wife, buy some good food, take her to nice places? Let her enjoy herself a bit before she dies. What a joke, pretending to be rich and getting radiation treatment. Do you have the economic capability for that?"
The woman rolled her eyes.
"Alright, enough talk. Quickly take the old man to the next room." Zachary grew impatient. "Kid, move aside!"
"Since you didn't let me go first, then none of you will be able to go." Noah said coldly, still blocking the nurse in front of him, his voice leaving no room for doubt.
Boom!
"Kid, this is a hospital, not a place for you to cause trouble!"
Zachary slammed the table and glared at Noah angrily.
"Young man, what do you mean? My father needs chemotherapy and you won't let him?" The woman's face turned completely cold, she waved her hand.
The two bodyguards who followed her walked up to Noah, emitting an air of coldness from head to toe, ready to take action at any moment.
"Kid, I already gave you face. I gave you a piece of jade ring, worth your yearly salary, and asked you to wait. But you don't appreciate it and still won't perform the surgery on my father."
The woman looked at Noah, her face darkening:
"In that case, throw him out for me!"
Upon receiving the order, the two bodyguards moved towards Noah, their strong hands grabbing at his shoulders.
"Noah!"
"Noah, big brother!"
Grace and Scarlett's faces both changed.
"Hmph, you brought this upon yourself. Why couldn't you just wait obediently?" Zachary sneered.
"Since you're not really sick anyway, why are you talking about who should go first? You should take a good look at yourself, you poor loser!"
At the next moment, two palms landed on Noah's shoulders.
The hands exerted force, trying to pull Noah away.
But Noah stood there, regardless of how much strength the two bodyguards used, not budging an inch!
"Hmm?"
The faces of the two bodyguards slightly changed.
The next moment, Noah made his move.
His action was simple; he lifted his right foot and kicked forward.
The two bodyguards were like broken kites, directly kicked out by Noah.
With two loud crashes, the ground trembled, and the two bodyguards fell to the ground, letting out low cries of pain, instantly losing their ability to move.
The woman gasped, staring with wide eyes, unable to believe it.
These two bodyguards were ones she had hired at a high price and had received professional training.
But she didn't expect that these bodyguards were completely defenseless against Noah.
Zachary's face also changed, not expecting such a big turn of events.
"Kid! How dare you cause a scene in the hospital! You have no regard for rules!" Zachary yelled.
Clatter! Clatter! Clatter!
Footsteps sounded, and another middle-aged man in a white coat walked in. He exuded a faint air of authority all over his body.
"What's going on?"
As soon as he entered the room, he glanced at everyone, coldly asking.
"Brandon, this kid is causing trouble here!" Zachary pointed at Noah. "He even threatened me to perform surgery on his wife!"
"What? There's this too!"
Brandon's gaze fell on Noah, coldly questioning:
"Kid, you really have no idea what's good for you, causing trouble here!"
