Chapter 307 Arrogant Words

"Nope, not interested," Noah said flatly.

Bodhi's face froze for a second before he let out a long sigh.

"Noah, seriously, I don't get what you're thinking. Joining the Respect Noah Pavilion would shoot your status through the roof. You could even rub shoulders with someone like Ethan at the core level."

"But you turned it down. Such a golden opportunity, and you just let it slip. I feel bad for you, man."

"I don't need to join, and I'm kind of a big shot myself," Noah replied firmly, staring at Bodhi.

As soon as he said this, not only Bodhi and Daisy were stunned, but even Billy and everyone else in the living room were taken aback.

Then, the room erupted in laughter.

"This kid says he's a big shot? What a joke!"

"That's hilarious! I've never even heard of him!"

"Such arrogance! Just trying to show off!"

"Bodhi, this guy next to you isn't just arrogant, he's a real braggart," Billy said, looking at Noah with a mocking gaze. "Just because he's got some skills, he's this full of himself?"

Bodhi's face changed. "Noah is still young. It's normal for him to be a bit arrogant! You don't need to butt in, Billy!"

After saying that, he sighed inwardly. Noah, your arrogance seems to be a bit over the top! To say such big words in front of everyone!

Daisy looked at Noah with some dissatisfaction as well.

"Ethan's ceremony is about to start. Please, everyone, head to the venue now!" Suddenly, a voice came, and a burly man in sunglasses walked over and said.

"The ceremony is starting!"

"Let's hurry over!"

Everyone quickly got up.

"Noah, let's go to the succession ceremony. Don't mind what they said earlier!" Bodhi stood up and said.

Noah nodded.

Led by the man in sunglasses, the group left the living room.

Meanwhile, in a secret room in The Luca Mansion, a man in a black trench coat stood by the window with his hands behind his back, looking at the scenery outside.

The man was tall, with only half of his dark face visible, exuding a faint aura of authority.

"Mr. Murphy, Ethan's ceremony is about to start. Are your people in place?" a burly man behind him asked.

This man wore a black and white shirt with an ancient painting on it. He was about 5.9 feet tall, with massive muscles and bulging temples, like a small mountain.

"Otis, when the Murphy family handles things, you can rest assured," Yves Murphy said with a sinister smile. "I've already arranged everything. Don't worry."

Hearing this, Otis breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Mr. Murphy."

"Just taking what we need," Yves said, his eyes gleaming. "After all, Oceanbridge City belonged to the Murphy family last century. My ancestor, Roy, was one of the three richest men in Oceanbridge City. So, don't forget your promise once this is done."

"Don't worry, I won't forget. I'll make sure everything that belongs to the Murphy family is returned," Otis quickly assured.

"And as for Noah, daring to mess with the Murphy family, he won't get away with it!" Yves said coldly, his body radiating a murderous aura. "I'm here in Oceanbridge City for two reasons. One, to help you rise to power. The other, to deal with Noah. After the ceremony, you need to take care of this for me. I'll send you Noah's photo later."

"Understood, Mr. Murphy!" Otis said, his body trembling slightly.

Led by the man in sunglasses, Noah and the group arrived at a courtyard in The Luca Mansion.

Each courtyard was large, with three floors.

On the third-floor railings of the four courtyards stood rows of men in sunglasses, watching below vigilantly to prevent any incidents.

These were members of the Respect Noah Pavilion, responsible for maintaining order and preventing any unexpected situations.

In the center of the courtyard was a large stage, 60 feet long and wide, and 4.5 feet high. At each corner stood two men in sunglasses, watching the surroundings cautiously.

Around the stage, twenty wooden chairs were neatly arranged on each side, carved with patterns, looking solemn and dignified.

At this moment, the chairs were already filled with people.

"You can only stand on the outermost edge, no closer than 30 feet from the stage, understood?" the man in sunglasses warned after bringing Noah and the group there.

"Yeah, sure!"

"We understand! We won't get close!"

Everyone nodded repeatedly. They were all low-level figures, and being able to attend this ceremony was already a great honor. Naturally, they didn't dare to complain about standing.

Noah's gaze fell on the wooden chairs around the stage, where people with strong presences were seated.

These people were likely the upper echelon of Oceanbridge City, which is why they had the privilege to sit around the stage.

The living room they were in earlier was probably the second guest room.

On the stage, nine wooden chairs were also occupied.

In the center sat a middle-aged man in a purple suit, with a beard, observing the surroundings with a smile on his face and deep eyes, giving off an unfathomable feeling.

He held a pair of iron balls in his left hand, playing with them and making a sound.

It was Mason!

Lucas stood respectfully behind him, motionless.

"That's Mason!" Daisy's eyes lit up when she saw Mason. "No wonder he's a big shot. His presence is different! Just one look at him, and I feel like he noticed me. I don't dare to look at him for long!"

Daisy held her breath, looking up at Mason from dozens of feet away, not daring to speak loudly for fear of being heard by him.

"That presence, those eyes, only someone who has been through countless bloody battles can have that," Bodhi said with respect and fear. "Even Luke, who could match him before, seems inferior to Mason."
