Chapter 108 Annoying Woman
Bella stood nearby, her face pale with anger. But then she remembered that Nia was Xavier's daughter. Sterling probably treated Nia well too, so Bella could only hold back her anger and shut the door.
Then she called out, "Zoey."
Zoey hurried upstairs. "What's wrong?"
Bella said, "Nia is sleeping in my room now. Get a guest room ready for me. Bring my pillow and my blanket. And make sure to bring new sheets that Nia hasn't used."
When Zoey heard that Nia was sleeping in the master bedroom, she flushed with anger and cursed, "That bitch is so bold. If Mr. Windsor comes back, won't he argue with you again? Mrs. Windsor, can't you kick Nia out?"
Bella thought for a moment and said, "I want to kick her out, but I can't. Otherwise, Sterling will be mad at me when he comes back. Nia is Xavier's daughter. Forget it, Zoey. Just think of my bedroom as being slept in by a jerk."
Then Bella turned and went to the guest room.
Zoey shook her head. How could Nia be so inconsiderate? When would Sterling come back? If Sterling didn't come back soon, Bella might end up in the hospital again.
Bella was so uncomfortable in the guest room bed that she couldn't sleep all night. When dawn broke, she finally felt a bit sleepy. But just as she closed her eyes, she heard a commotion downstairs.
Bella's head ached from the noise. She grabbed her phone and saw that it was already 6 a.m. Unable to sleep because of the noise, Bella got up and went downstairs, only to find Nia playing music in the living room.
Nia was doing aerobics, and the music was so loud it could be heard from far away.
Bella saw that Nia was dressed very fashionably, jumping around in the living room, while Zoey watched and shook her head.
Seeing Bella come down, Zoey immediately approached and said, "Mrs. Windsor, look at her making all this noise early in the morning. It's outrageous."
Bella walked over and turned off Nia's phone, which was connected to the living room's sound system and TV.
The music suddenly stopped, and Nia turned to Bella, looking displeased. "Why did you turn off my phone?"
Bella was already feeling weak, and after a sleepless night, she was in a bad mood.
Bella said sternly, "Do you know you're disturbing everyone? How can people rest with all this noise? You're not the only one living in this house, you know?"
Nia said sternly, "It's already morning, and you're still sleeping? All you do is eat and sleep. How can you handle Sterling's demands?"
Hearing this, Bella stepped forward. Nia immediately stepped back and said, "What are you doing? Are you going to hit me?"
Bella, looking grim, said, "I won't hit you, but if you keep disturbing everyone, do you believe that I will have the bodyguards escort you out right now?"
Just as Bella finished speaking, she heard the sound of a car braking in the yard. Bella knew it must be Sterling.
Why was Sterling back so early today? Bella thought he must have taken a private jet to get home so early.
Sure enough, Nia also heard the braking sound outside. She immediately said smugly to Bella, "Sterling is back. I'm going to tell him you hit me."
Bella was so mad she almost wanted to slap Nia.
When Sterling walked in, he immediately sensed the tension between Bella and Nia. As soon as he entered, Sunny ran over and rubbed against his leg. He was about to kick Sunny away when he noticed Bella watching him.
He held back and walked away silently. Bella thought, 'Thank goodness Sterling didn't kick Sunny. Otherwise, I'd definitely make him pay for it.'
As Sterling approached, Nia rushed to him and said, "Sterling, you're back! Was it tiring? I heard you went far away. I've been waiting here for days."
Nia's barrage of questions made Sterling frown. He ignored Nia and walked over to Bella, asking, "Why are you up so early, and why are you dressed so lightly? Zoey, get her a coat."
Hearing Sterling's concern for Bella, Zoey immediately smiled and said, "Yes, Mr. Windsor."
Bella squinted at him, wondering why Sterling was so concerned about her right after coming home. She couldn't help but think of their conversation in the hospital a while ago, but seeing Nia, she knew now wasn't the time to bring it up.
Bella just nodded and said, "I didn't sleep well last night."
Sterling said, "If you didn't sleep well, go back to bed. Don't stand here."
Bella glanced at Nia, said nothing, and turned to go upstairs. But she paused on the stairs. She turned back to Sterling and said, "Nia slept in our bedroom last night. I slept in the guest room, which is why I didn't sleep well. If you allow Nia to sleep in the master bedroom from now on, I won't go in there anymore. I'll leave it to Nia."
Without waiting for Sterling's response, Bella quickly went to the guest room.
After hearing Bella's words, Sterling's face darkened. He looked at the somewhat guilty Nia and said, "Who allowed you to sleep in the master bedroom? That's a private area. Don't you know that? Is this how you were raised? Don't you know any manners?"
Nia didn't expect Bella to tattle on her.
Cursing Bella in her heart, Nia said to Sterling, "Sterling, I just got back. I only slept in your bed for one night. Do you have to be so stingy?"
Sterling looked at Nia and said, "There won't be a next time."
Sterling then went after Bella.
Bella was sitting on the bed, ready to catch up on sleep, when Sterling came in.
Sterling smiled and said, "I've already scolded Nia. She won't sleep in the master bedroom again. This time it was Nia being inconsiderate. Don't hold it against her. Now go back to the master bedroom to sleep. The mattress here isn't very comfortable."
Bella, still with a cold expression, said, "It's fine. I've already slept here for a night. It doesn't matter where I sleep."
Seeing Bella's obvious displeasure, Sterling knew she was upset about Nia. He felt a bit happy inside. At least Bella cared about other women being around him.
He continued, "Xavier called me and said Nia would be staying here for a few days. If Nia does anything to upset you, just scold her directly."
Bella thought, 'I wouldn't dare to scold Nia.'
