Chapter 336 Orders

Anna was momentarily taken aback, but then she smiled. "Alright, since you're so pumped, I'll chill for a couple of days. But don't overdo it, okay?"

Bella nodded with a grin. "Oh, by the way, I sorted out Charlotte's issue. That last order was from her, but I've blocked all their accounts. They won't be causing any more trouble in our store."

Anna's eyes widened in surprise. "You always know what to do. I've been fed up with those people for a while now. Finally, some peace and quiet."

Anna giggled. "Well, if you're not taking a break, neither am I. I'll just keep watching my shows. Call me if any customers come in; I'm ready to help anytime!"

Bella nodded, feeling a sense of relief. She knew that despite Anna's carefree demeanor, she was incredibly attentive and responsible.

With Anna in the store, Bella always felt a reassuring sense of calm.

With Charlotte's issue resolved, Bella felt much lighter. She walked into the kitchen with a spring in her step, ready to continue her dessert experiments.

The kitchen was filled with the enticing aroma of ingredients, making every corner smell delightful.

However, before she could tie on her floral apron, she heard Anna calling from outside.

"Bella, Bella, we got a big order from the office building across the street!"

Anna's voice was filled with excitement.

Bella paused, then walked out of the kitchen. "The office building across the street?" She frowned, puzzled.

It was the middle of the holiday season, and the streets were decorated festively, with everyone enjoying the celebrations. The office building had been deserted for days.

"Isn't everyone off for the holidays? What's going on?"

Anna hesitated, then swallowed nervously. "It's just Colin's financial company. They started work again today because of an urgent project. They had to cut their holiday short and come back to work."

Anna's voice softened when she mentioned Colin, worried that Bella might read too much into it, especially since Colin wasn't the only boss there—Sterling was too.

But Bella simply nodded and turned back to the kitchen. She glanced briefly at the office building, then asked, "How much did they order?"

Anna, relieved that Bella wasn't upset, replied quickly, "Just the drinks alone are forty cups, plus desserts. Oh my gosh, this is no joke! We need to start right away. We can't wait until everything's done to deliver; the clients will go crazy waiting. If necessary, I'll call Serafina. Hopefully, she's free today. I'll offer her triple pay; we need all hands on deck."

Bella nodded in agreement, rolling up her sleeves and calculating the materials and tools needed. "Go ahead and call Serafina."

Anna immediately called Serafina, but after a while, she sighed and told Bella, "Serafina's free, but she can't leave because the caregiver she hired for her grandpa is on holiday. There's no one to look after him."

Bella frowned, then suggested, "How about this: let Serafina bring her grandpa here. We'll close the store and put up a 'Closed' sign. That way, we can focus on this order and keep an eye on her grandpa. As long as he's here, we can make sure he's okay."

Anna thought it was a great idea and agreed. "Yes, that's perfect. We can keep an eye on him, and we won't be able to take other customers anyway. The 'Closed' sign will make it clear."

Anna called Serafina back and explained their plan. Serafina, though hesitant, agreed, knowing her grandpa needed care and they could help.

Soon, Serafina arrived, carefully settling her grandpa, Gabriel, into a comfortable chair and giving him a warm cup of tea to ensure he was safe and comfortable.

Without wasting time, Serafina grabbed the first batch of desserts and drinks Bella and Anna had prepared and hurried to the office building.

Bella was busy in the kitchen, her forehead beading with sweat despite the winter chill outside.

Making desserts was more complex than drinks, requiring patience and precision.

She mixed batter, adjusted the oven, and occasionally glanced out the window to check on Serafina.

Anna was also busy, packing and organizing orders while keeping an eye on Gabriel, making sure he was okay.

She occasionally gave Gabriel snacks and chatted with him to keep him entertained.

After a flurry of activity, the order was finally complete.

As the last drink was carefully packed, Bella and Anna exchanged tired but satisfied smiles.

Serafina, having only done the deliveries, was less exhausted but still tired. The office building was close, so she quickly finished and returned.

The three of them, sweaty and tired, collapsed into chairs to catch their breath, then began cleaning up the store. Despite their exhaustion, they felt happy and fulfilled.

Just as Anna finished and was about to take a sip of water, she heard the computer ping with a new order.

Dragging her tired body over, she tore off the delivery slip and couldn't help but spit out her water in shock.

"Bella, we have to make more! Another forty orders! Are they feeding the whole company? How many people work there?"
