Chapter 362 Spoiling

Anna felt a wave of sweetness wash over her heart. She thought for a moment and realized she didn't have any particular place in mind.

"I don't know. Usually, when I have free time, I just stay home and binge-watch shows. I haven't really gone out much. We're both new here and not familiar with the area. How about we just wander around?"

Colin's eyes lit up at her words. He stood up and took Anna's hand. "Then let's go on an adventure! This city has so many hidden gems and delicious food waiting for us to discover. Come on, I'll take you to a great spot I know."

As they walked down the street, the sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows that added a touch of romance to the atmosphere.

Colin held Anna's hand, guiding her through bustling streets and quiet alleys, as if he were showing her every corner of the city.

He led her to an alley filled with artistic vibes, where the walls were covered in vibrant murals, each telling a story about the city. Anna was captivated by the murals and stopped to take them in.

"How did you know about this place?" She had been here for almost a year and had no idea there was such an artistic spot. Bella would probably love it here.

Colin hugged her from behind, sharing the view with her. His smile spread to her ear. "I did some research ahead of time for someone special."

Anna felt a surge of joy. "So, where are we going next? Bella gave me the afternoon off."

Colin thought for a moment and suggested apologetically, "I barely slept last night to get here early. I was at the airport before dawn. I'm feeling a bit tired. How about we go to the hotel first so I can rest? Tonight, I'll take everyone from your store out for dinner to celebrate. After dinner, we can plan what to do next. How does that sound?"

Anna looked at him with concern and quickly nodded in agreement.

They took a cab from the tourist spot to the hotel. During the ride, Anna held Colin's hand tightly. Being in love truly brought happiness.

However, going to a hotel alone with him, in such a private setting, made her feel a bit shy and nervous.

Anna thought their long-distance relationship meant every meeting was like crossing mountains and rivers, filled with long-awaited sweetness and endless conversations.

But reality often differs from dreams. Colin really did come to the hotel to sleep.

As soon as they entered the room, Colin headed straight for the bed and lay down without hesitation, as if the fatigue from his journey had instantly overwhelmed him, skipping any gentle opening words.

This scene made her heart sink a little. Her initial excitement felt like it had been doused with cold water.

Oh well, let him sleep. He must be really tired. Anna could only sit idly on the soft sofa by his bed, the faint glow from her phone screen illuminating her focused face. She kept the volume of her show low, afraid to disturb him.

After sitting for a while, her body began to feel a bit tired. She quietly moved to Colin's side, found a more comfortable position, and continued watching her show, enjoying this rare moment of companionship, even if it was silent.

Time passed quietly, and the sunlight outside gradually softened. Before she knew it, the afternoon was almost over. She was engrossed in the plot, occasionally frowning or smiling at the characters' ups and downs.

When Anna reached a particularly funny scene, ready to laugh out loud, she unexpectedly heard Colin's laughter behind her, warm and familiar, quicker than her own reaction.

The sudden laughter startled her, freezing her smile. She turned around, surprised, and asked softly, "Was my volume too loud and woke you up?"

Colin gently pulled her into his arms, resting his chin on her head, and whispered, "No, I woke up on my own. Seeing you so absorbed, I watched the show with you for a while. You just noticed."

His voice carried a hint of affection and amusement, enjoying this rare intimate moment.

Being held like this made her feel a rush of sweetness and warmth. The TV plot no longer mattered; she was completely immersed in his embrace, savoring this rare peace and happiness.

"Are you getting up now?" she asked softly, her voice tinged with shyness and anticipation. She thought, since he was awake, they could call Bella and the others for dinner, ending the day's work early.

Colin glanced at his watch, which showed it was only five o'clock. He gently said, "You can let them know. We'll head to the restaurant around six. It's only five now, so let's rest a bit longer."

She immediately picked up her phone and texted Bella about the dinner time and location.

After receiving Bella's reply, she lay back on the sofa, ready to continue watching her show. But Colin's hand started to move, gently caressing her waist.

Feeling his touch, her face flushed with embarrassment. She shyly grabbed his hand and whispered, "Stop moving around. Get some more sleep."

Her voice carried a hint of shyness and a playful tone, making Colin's heart flutter.

Colin looked at her bashful expression, a smile playing on his lips. He gently bit her earlobe and whispered, "Not allowed to enjoy and not allowed to move? I've wanted to do this for a long time. It wasn't appropriate before, but now it's perfectly fine."

His tone was teasing and affectionate, enjoying this rare intimacy and indulgence.

Anna felt shy from his words and actions but didn't resist much, letting his hand gently caress her. Her face flushed, and she whispered, "When did you start having these naughty thoughts about me? You're full of bad ideas."

Though her words carried a hint of reproach, her tone was filled with playful affection and helplessness.

Colin's smile widened, his eyes filled with love and desire. He gently pushed her onto the sofa, his body pressing against hers, and whispered, "From the first time we slept together, I've had these thoughts about you."
