Chapter 295 Please Don't Touch Me

Caleb didn't back down despite her rejection. Instead, a fierce look flashed in his eyes.

He let out a cold laugh, his tone dripping with jealousy and threat. "So Colin can sleep with you, but I can't? How long have you known him? He's already touched you, hasn't he? Don't think I don't know. You went back to the Rivera Villa with him and stayed the whole night!"

Anna's voice was filled with despair and anger as she shouted, "Yeah, just like you said, I've done everything with him! I love his gentleness and thoughtfulness. We've tried everything together! And back then, we hadn't even reconciled, right? When did you start secretly investigating me? This behavior makes me sick! Did I owe you a debt in my past life? In this life, you not only ruined my family but now you want to torture me like this. What more do you want?"

The tenderness and compliance on Caleb's face instantly collapsed, replaced by a burning rage.

He suddenly yanked her onto the bed, pinning her down with his hands, his eyes filled with possessiveness and madness. "What do I want? Isn't it obvious? I want you, completely. I want you to belong to me, body and soul! Then I'll record you struggling and begging on the bed and send it to Colin, so he knows who you really belong to!"

Anna trembled with fear at his words, her eyes wide with terror, unable to utter another word.

She had mentioned Colin just to provoke him, but she hadn't expected such a strong reaction. She feared he might actually do something crazy, which would not only ruin her reputation but also hurt Colin.

Seeing the fear and unease in Anna's eyes, Caleb gradually calmed down. But he didn't let go of her. Instead, he gently stroked her cheek with one hand, his voice carrying a hint of tenderness and pleading.

"Anna, please, don't always provoke me, okay? I don't want to lose control. I can be good to you. Whatever you want, I'll try to give it to you, okay? I'll give you time to accept me, give me a chance to truly have you, okay? Don't use Colin to provoke me anymore. I'll go crazy."

Caleb's tone revealed a deep sense of helplessness and pain, as if he were begging her not to leave him, not to make him lose her.

However, the pain and anger in her heart made his words seem so weak and powerless. She knew they could never go back to the past. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't make up for the hurt he had caused her.

Anna shook her head in despair, tears streaming down her face like broken beads, disappearing into the sheets, as if even her tears were telling of her inner helplessness and pain.

"Don't touch me, please don't touch me!" Her voice trembled and was weak, filled with pleading.

Caleb seemed not to hear her cries. He forcefully cupped her face, making her tear-filled eyes look directly at him. "We should have had this long ago. Just consider it making up for past regrets, okay? In half a month, if you still want to leave, I'll let you go. But if you're willing to stay, we'll get married. I won't force you, but my patience is limited."

Under the light of pleading and expectation in Caleb's eyes, Anna felt nothing but absurdity and anger.

She looked at him, her once loving eyes now filled with coldness and hatred. "You're nuts. You orchestrated that whole ridiculous drama, made me go through all that disgusting stuff, and now you want to treat me the same way, pretending it's to make up for regrets! You even want me to stay and marry you. This is a joke! Are you crazy, or am I crazy?"

Anna cried, her voice low and murmuring, "As long as you don't touch me, I'll agree to anything. Half a month, just half a month, Caleb, I beg you, let me go, don't make me feel like living is meaningless."

Her voice grew lower and lower, eventually becoming a silent plea. Her eyes were empty and desperate, as if she had lost all hope.

She knew that no matter how much she pleaded, how much she struggled, she couldn't change this madman's decision. She could only silently endure it all, waiting for an unknown release.

Caleb's eyes flashed with hurt and confusion. He furrowed his brows, his voice carrying a hint of pleading. "Do you hate me touching you that much? Tell me, what do I have to do for us to go back to those beautiful times?"

Anna's tears fell again. She laughed through her tears, a bitter and desperate smile that was uglier than crying.

"We can't go back! We can't go back! From the moment you went after my family, we couldn't go back! I once gave you everything without reservation, and how did you repay me? You locked me up here because you're afraid I'll call the police, afraid they'll find evidence against you from me. If you really touch me, everything you've done will be for nothing. You can touch anyone, but not me."

Anna's words were like a sharp knife, deeply piercing Caleb's heart.

He had indeed planned from the beginning to imprison her, waiting until there was no evidence against him before letting her go. He understood that if he really touched her, it would be digging his own grave.

During this time, he had destroyed most of the evidence. The men responsible for the kidnapping had been dealt with, leaving only Debra alive.

He kept Debra because Mira was not an ordinary person, and mishandling it could backfire. Debra's identity was complex, involving a wide network of relationships.

Seeing Caleb not taking further action, Anna secretly breathed a sigh of relief. She had bet correctly; he didn't dare to act recklessly.

However, at that moment, he suddenly kissed her, his tongue invading her mouth aggressively, giving her no chance to breathe. His hands began to lift her nightgown, acting wantonly.

Anna's heart sank again. She hadn't expected him to be so reckless. She closed her eyes, silently waiting for the humiliation to pass.

But just as she was about to despair, Caleb suddenly got up and left the room, the sound of the door slamming echoing in the empty room.

Only then did Anna realize she was safe. He was just unwilling to give up, but he hadn't truly lost his mind.

Anna stared at the ceiling, letting out a long breath, silently praying that the remaining days would pass peacefully.

However, she knew this was only temporary calm. The road ahead was still long and difficult.
