Chapter 182 Coma

Bella glared at Sterling, "Did you already know tonight was Colin's blind date party?"

Sterling, though wronged, didn't get angry. He stepped forward, hugged Bella, and explained with a smile, "Don't blame me, I had no idea."

Bella snorted heavily, "You and Colin are so close, how could you not know? What is he thinking, setting up a blind date and bringing Anna along? You men are so shameless, do you want to enjoy having multiple lovers?"

Listening to Bella's complaints, Sterling knew it was about Anna, but he didn't want to meddle in others' affairs.

"You're really wronging me, I'm not Colin," Sterling said, then moved to Bella's ear and whispered, "I only want you."

Bella's ears suddenly felt hot, and she playfully hit Sterling, her eyes filled with shyness, "Sweet talker."

Seeing her shy, Sterling didn't tease her further and said seriously, "Are you tired? Go upstairs and rest for a while. We'll stay here tonight."

Bella was indeed a bit tired, and she had been feeling particularly sleepy these past few days. It was just past 9 PM, and she was already struggling to stay awake.

"Okay, I'll go rest first. Don't drink too much," Bella reminded Sterling, knowing he still had to socialize for a while.

If Bella had known what would happen later, she wouldn't have just reminded him; she would have hugged or kissed him.

Bella looked around but couldn't find Anna. She didn't know where Colin had taken her, but he probably wouldn't do anything to Anna.

Thinking this, Bella went back to her room to rest.

Sterling had a fixed room here, and she had been here a few times, so she quickly found the room.

She opened the door, and a strange fragrance greeted her, but she didn't pay much attention, thinking it was a new scent Sterling had chosen.

After taking a shower, Bella suddenly felt weak. Relying on instinct, she stumbled towards the bed and collapsed onto the covers, losing consciousness.

She didn't know how long she had been out when she suddenly heard a sound.

It was the door opening. Someone had entered her room. Who was it? Bella tried to open her eyes, but her eyelids felt heavy, as if something was pressing them down.

Who could it be?

Bella couldn't tell if she was awake or dreaming. This room was Sterling's, so the person entering must be Sterling, right?

But Bella seemed to hear two sets of footsteps. No, Sterling wouldn't bring someone to the room late at night, especially knowing she was resting there.

Bella had slept deeply before, but never this deeply. Her nerves jumped, sensing someone approaching her bed.

Bella's hand moved slightly, but that was all she could manage. Her whole body was in a state of deep sleep.

She felt someone lift her blanket, and a cold breeze made her skin break out in goosebumps.

Something was very wrong. No, she wasn't just asleep; she had been drugged.

The fragrance?

Yes, Bella suddenly remembered the faint scent she had smelled when she first entered the room.

Realizing this, her heart started racing, but she had no strength to resist.

Bella suddenly felt herself being lifted up by the two people, then placed onto one of their backs.

The man carrying her said, "Is she waking up? Her breathing seems off."

Another man turned Bella's face and said, "No, she's not awake. Don't waste time. We've drugged her as instructed. Let's get her to the VIP room upstairs."

Bella felt like she was sinking underwater, her breathing rapid, drifting in and out of consciousness. This was clearly not Sterling's doing.

'Sterling, where are you? Can you find me?'

Bella bit her tongue, trying to stay awake. She hadn't inhaled too much of the drug yet. She heard the two men talking. Who was trying to harm her?

Was this aimed at her or Sterling? Was it one of the guests tonight? Could it be Debra again? Where were they taking her?

A series of questions swirled in Bella's mind, making her feel dizzy. She forced herself to stay awake.

Bella felt the man carrying her walking up stairs, as she felt the jolts. She had no strength, so she clenched her fingers, digging her nails into her skin to stay conscious.

After a short walk, she heard another door open, and she was placed on a soft bed.

The two men suddenly pulled her belt and tugged her collar down, placing a man's arms around her waist and legs.

The moment she was held, Bella felt a wave of revulsion, an uncontrollable physiological reaction.

Bella felt like vomiting, and this nausea cleared her mind a bit.

"Let's go, quickly," the two men said, leaving the room in a hurry.

Bella felt every nerve and cell in her body rebelling, desperately trying to break free from the invisible restraints.

Bella struggled for a long time until she suddenly opened her eyes.

Her first action was to push away the hand on her waist, but her weak movement caused her to fall off the bed, which cleared her mind a bit more.

Lying on the floor, Bella felt dizzy. She steadied herself and looked at the bed. What she saw scared her to the core.

The person on the bed was clearly the one she had seen downstairs earlier—James.

Bella felt her breath stop, her body stiffening.

They had gone to great lengths to put her in James's bed. This was clearly Debra's doing.

Bella didn't need to think to know what Debra intended. James seemed to be drugged too.

Bella knew this was a setup. If she guessed right, Debra would soon bring Sterling upstairs to catch them.

But no matter what Debra planned, Bella's priority was to leave this place immediately.

Bella crawled to the door, opened it with effort, and stumbled downstairs. Though weak, her mind was clear.

As she reached the last few steps, she accidentally fell down the stairs.

Bella also heard voices coming from outside the stairs.
